In yesterday’s paper, there is an article titled "Justices decline to review 2 capital murder cases". I’m going to summarize it here.
"One for a man given the death penalty for a killing committed when he was 17 and the other for a man who has spent nearly three decades waiting to die."
The court was split on executing juvenile killers. "Four said it was "shameful" to execute juvenile killers."
"The practice of executing such offenders is a relic of the past and is inconsistent with evolving standards of decency in a civilized society." Wrote Justice John Paul Steven’s, who was joined by Justices David H. Souter, Ruth Bader Ginsburg and Stephen Breyer.
Justice Clarence Thomas expressed outrage at the thought of overturning death-penalty convictions for longtime death-row inmates.
The juvenile case rejected by the court Monday involved a Kentucky man sentenced to death for abducting, sodomizing and killing a gas station attendant when he was 17. Kevin Stanford, now 39 has been on death row since 1982. In 1989, the high court used Mr. Stanford’s case to uphold juvenile executions.
Mr. Stanford’s lawyers argued that such executions violate not only the constitutional ban on cruel and unusual punishment but an international treaty signed by the US. Like the question of mental retardation, the issue of juvenile killer turns on the defendant’s capacity to understand the situation and level of culpability.
Dianne Clements of the victims’ rights group Justice For All said the dissenting justices appear to be trying to draw public support with the strongly worded opinion.
"When you say juvenile, your mind’s eye paints a picture of a cherubic child," she said. "It’s not a fair fight."
Justice Breyer also filled a separate opinion to say the court should consider whether it is unconstitutional to leave inmates on death row for extended time.
He said FL inmate Charles Foster has spent more than 27 years in prison and "if executed, Foster, now 55, will have been punished both by death and also by more than a generation spent in death row’s twilight. It is fairly asked whether such punishment is both unusual and cruel."
In response, Justice Thomas said Mr. Foster wouldn’t be in his situation if he hadn’t slit a man’s throat and then cut his spine when he realized the man was still breathing.
The end..
*note - this article was taken from the Tuesday Dallas Morning News… I tried to find this online, but they have a shitty, shitty site that is hard to navigate…
Now here is my opinion on all of this.
Why should a murderer who has been convicted by a jury and sentenced to death by said jury be spared because he was 17 at the time of the crime? The opponents of this say "the issue of juvenile killer turns on the defendant’s capacity to understand the situation and level of culpability." So am I to believe that a 17 year old is to young and naïve to realize that committing a particularly heinous murder is wrong? And that doing so could land them in prison and very possibly on death row? I find that hard to believe.. Am I to believe that at age 18 a person is considered an adult and can do everything but drink and would not longer be considered a juvenile by the state, but at 17 one would still be sketchy on this right/wrong thing, legal/illegal, go to jail/get a slap on the wrist thing. They aren’t talking about a 10 year old, but a 17 year old. I don’t know about you, but I recall being 17. I don’t remember being so stupid and unable to understand the ramifications of my actions or the level of my responsibility. Sounds like a bunch of slick lawyer lingo meant to cloud the real facts (that this person is GUILTY) and get someone a lighter sentence or out of prison.
About a death row inmate waiting for execution for 27 years. That is deplorable. His sentence should have been carried out years ago. And Justice Breyer asking whether it’s cruel and unusual… well yes and no.. yes it’s cruel.. to the victims family to have to wait so long to get closure, unusual.. not really. Many, many convicted murders on death row spend years and years and hundreds of thousands in tax payer dollars appealing their conviction and execution. In this country it is extremely rare that an execution is carried out in a timely manner. That is a crying shame, especially when the innocent victim was brutally murdered in a timely manner.
That’s it.. that’s all… I’m done for now. I have a few other articles that got me riled up that I’ll write about tomorrow, I think this is more than enough for one post. Go ahead and flame me if you like - I've got my asbestos undies on.

OK, this poll is from L.. and I think it merits deep thought...
What is your definition of betrayal?
Hmmm that's a really good one.. but I guess it's doing something to someone to hurt them intentionally.. stabbing someone in the back.. being a false friend... being disloyal..
Has a friend ever betrayed you? If so, was it in a big way or a little way?
well I've had it happen in small ways and in big ways. Small ways as in a friend who I told something to in confidence telling someone else the information I didn't want them to know, in big ways... someone I thought was a friend screwed (literally) me out of a job. And there have been others...
Were you able to forgive that person? If so, why? If not, why not?
The person who betrayed my confidenced? Yeah, mostly.. because I know she was just doing it because of her own insecurities and want for popularity. The bigger ones... hmmm... maybe.. it's hard to say, sometimes I'm still hurt by all of that. I try. I don't want to be a hate filled person and I know it's the right thing to do... forgive them. Even if I still don't like them, or want shit to do with them anymore, it's right to forgive them.
Have you ever betrayed a friend? If so, why?
I have, I admit with much shame. I talked about some women I worked with to gain favor with someone. It was wrong and this person is a really evil person who doesn't deserve anyone's time or attention. I appologized to one of the women, she accepted... she actually never was angry with me for it.. she's a much better person than I am and that made me feel like a real shit for having talked about her like I did. The other woman would not talk to me after, and I can't blame her. I was a real shit to her.
If someone attaches himself or herself to you with no encouragement, and you go along with the friendship, but eventually break off contact because you really don't like the person, is that betrayal? If not, how would you define the behavior?
No it's not betrayal. It's just a friendship (or whatever) running it's course. There are several people I have been friendly with at different places of work, or church or where ever, but when the convenience of the friendship ran out of us.. it just ended.. no hard feelings. No one should feel guilty for not wanting to be around someone you don't really like.
Someone courts your friendship until you eventually begin to depend on the relationship, but when the purpose of the courtship has been achieved, he or she becomes distant and unresponsive. Is this betrayal? If not, how would you define this behavior?
Hmmmm... Not necessarily betrayal. Sounds like boredom.

OK, A (and I don't mean Astroglide) - I'll stop talking about 'the stubstance' (*read Astroglide). I actually was way beyond (Astroglide) in subject matter. In fact (Astroglide), I hadn't even thought about (Astroglide) since reading L's (Astroglide) blog. I mean I'm on to (Astroglide) politics and gramerical (Astroglide) incorrectness. 'The substance' (Astroglide) was completly out of my (Astroglide) mind... that is until you mentioned (Astroglide) it.
In fact I've been here at the library contemplating (Astroglide) this Steven King book 'The (Astroglide) Regulators'. And belive me there's no room in my injured psychie for any thoughts other than fear of (Astroglide) monsters. I mean I could just lock myself in my closet with my (Astroglide) teddy bear and stay there for a while.. if, deep down I wasn't truly afraid of (Astroglide) monsters in the closet!
Anyway the subject had completly 'slipped' my (Astroglide) mind.
*note* if you feel like smacking me now, that's totally acceptable. ;o)

Ahhh a little something for self improvement...
The Word of the Day for October 23 is:
tousle • \TOW-zul ("OW" as in "cow")\ • (verb)
: dishevel, rumple
Example sentence:
Vic stood in front of the mirror and tousled his hair, trying to master the cool, disheveled look.
Did you know?
"Tousle" is a word that has been through what linguists call a "functional shift." That's a fancy way of saying it was originally one part of speech, then gradually came to have a different function. "Tousle" started out as a verb back in the 15th century. By the late 19th century, "tousle" was also being used as a noun meaning "a tangled mass (as of hair)." Etymologists connect the word to an Old High German word meaning "to pull to pieces."
I found that on Merriam-Webster OnLine after reading an article about bad grammar TALK GOOD . I realized that I really do need to work on my grammar and spelling... that's a bit of a lie. I've known for a long time that I needed to work on it. I appologize to all of you who read my ramblings and have to suffer through my awful grammar and deplorable spelling. I'll try to work on that.. *gotta find a way to do spell check on these posts*....
Anyway, off to my scary novel.

All right I'm here a bit early... some of my stuff got canceled. I did get a chance to have lunch at la Madeleine. ahhhh... that was heaven on earth. I love the tomato basil soup. I had a chicken sandwich but should have gotten them to put it on softer bread - hard bread and braces are a BAD BAD combination. I kept having to stop eating to dab up blood on my lips. Ouch. It was worth the injuries though. I have not eaten there in a long long time.
This morning I was reading the news paper (a real news paper, not online or anything) and gosh, I'm going to have to break my rule of not discussing political things in my blog. There was an article on Martha Stupid.. I mean Stewart... SEC is coming down on her. Good. Then there was an article on the death penalty... ohhhh... something I have strong opinions about... I will discuss this further when I get home this evening.. I have quite a rant building up in me on this one. Then there's the governors race here... sheesh... that's just stupid... not to mention the other political places being voted on... BUT... not right now... I'm at the library. Ya know.. I haven't even finished the front page of the paper either!
I'm a news junkie. I love to get the news. Relivant news that is. I hate when news stories get repeated ad nauseam (sp?). I've always like the news... I used to watch the news when I was little. I remember hopeing to get home from college by 10 pm (night classes) so I could see the last news cast. I know.. it's sick, but I do love the news...
Oh to other things... the most rediculous thing of today (so far)
I'm driving around here, and the road I was on went from 3 lanes on the side I was driving to just one - really abruptly - right after a light. I had been driving in the middle lane, and saw at the light that it squeezed down to just one lane, so I pushed my way in the line (thats just the way you have to drive around here). The guy driving the car I squeezed in front of was not happy about that, he was bound and determined to not let me in, but I did it anyway. So we are driving, and it's going not all that fast because of the construction on the right and everyone being in one lane. We get to a stop light, as soon as the light turned green and the truck in front of me started moving, the asshole behind me started honking (*note* that really pisses me off when I get honked at for no freaking reason). The next light he does the same damn thing, so I pull away kind of slow... knowing he's gotta be loving that. The next light he does the same damn thing.. and we are almost to the end of the construction.. I was so irritated with that prick, I just barely touched the gas. He's honking like crazy. As soon as we were past the construction, I speed up to the speed limit, look in my rear view mirror.. this idiot is going about 10 miles under the speed limit! WTF was he in such a hurry for? *sheesh* some people just have their heads up their asses.
Well.. that's about all for now.. gotta go find The Regulators and read some more in that disturbing novel. Although I haven't needed anything like that to help me have disturbing dreams.. no talking butts last night, but still whacked out dreams.

Well I just finished my morning ritual... cleaning the SPAM out of my mail box. Shit.. I get a lot of that. For the past few days I've been agressively doing something to stop all that crap (i.e. unsubscribing and blocking). Seems to be working some... we'll see. The days I have to work and can't get to the computer (like today) will be the real test to my anti-spaming powers.
Anyway- must finish my breakfast and get dressed... Hope you don't miss me too much today!

Well here I am screwing with my template again.. I was completly bored with the last one... This is a little better. At least it looks different... I've already screwed up the side menu so that one section looks different.. and I can't figure what the hell I did. Oh well. it's late.
Let me know what you think of this template...

hmmm.. I think I'm being stalked! Just kidding... No one would stalk me.. I'm FAR to neurotic for that... (oh... a new subject to write about... give me just a minute to finish this lame thought before I go on to that!) There are these two guys who are ALWAYS at the gym when I go work out. I sometimes get lazy and don't go on M-W-F so I'll go the next day to make up for it, then get right back on schedule (at least I try)... anyway.. these two are always there. I call them Dumb and Dumber. They truly are. Once they were talking with another hot bodied moron, compairing at what grade each of them had been held back in school! Shit, that is not something I'd be bonding over. It was so stupid, they were talking about it like it was something to be proud of. Another time they were discussing trucks... most of the rest of their conversations are so moronic that I can't bring myself to recall the subject matter. It's really a shame... such incredible bodies and no place for a brain. Today they finished up their work outs near me, which is a rareity since they generally stick with the free weights and I am a weenier and stick with the machines (less chance for me to fuck it up somehow), and they were oddly quiet today... that made them somewhat more attractive.
OK, back to the other subject... stalkers... I've never had an ex-boyfriend stalk me... I've known plenty of people who have, but I haven't. I don't know why that is.. and I don't know if I should be insulted or not. I've even had a psychotic boyfriend (really, he was... certifiable.. been diagnosed..) but even he didn't stalk me. I've had the occasional pissy ex who decided to diss me but that's about it. One person I know had an ex who she had to get a restraining order for, moved so he would not know where she lives, he called her all the time at work... she was on the brink of a nervous break down... (actually ALL of this person's ex's were like that...) another person's ex decided to go to the bar she would go to every week, then confront her and tell HER to stop hanging out there... she also seemed to attract the psycho type. And YET another person had an ex who told her he would cut her up and throw her body parts on the side of the road... hmmm.... again this was NOT her first psycho stalker ex boyfriend... I could go on and on about one of her's in particular, but I don't want to think of him anymore than I have to... ick. And me.. I've never had a stalker boyfriend, never had a bad break up (granted most of my break ups just involved me not calling them anymore or taking their phone calls), heck I've even still be friends with some of my ex-boyfriends... *sigh* Oh well... I guess I just don't rate as being so unforgetable that someone just could not let me go. *pout* *pout*
Anyway.. about stalkers (yeah I am just getting all distracted here), why is it that neurotic whackos are never stalked? It's always a normal person being stalked by a whacko.. never a whacko stalking a whacko... why is that? *sigh* I guess the world will never know...

L said "I once had a very bad experience due to lack of Astroglide (the horror...the horror).
The importance of Astroglide cannot be overemphasized."
I sat here laughing for so hard I could not keep reading. I just had to copy that and put it here.. it made me laugh so hard.
*sigh* I've been wasting time today... my place is all clean so I have been getting on the computer every so often... Looking at other people's blogs... I have a crappy blog.. L has a cool blog... A - has a cool blog... Jake has a bad ass blog... I need a kick-ass blog... who will help me? who will help poor Judy to achieve coolness in the blogging? Yes yes I am shamelessly begging for help... I really an not sure what to do... I do need help don't I? Hmmm...
*sigh* I've just looked at everyone's blog... no one has written anything recently... WRITE SOMETHING DAMN IT! I'M BORED!!! Hell if nothing else... make a witty comment or something...

mental challenged people pictures
HAHAHAHAHAHA! Hell I know I'm challenged, and even mentally from time to time but I don't think I qualify! HAHAHAHAHA!
hey.... what a strange thing to look for...

L - Astroglide! HAHAHAHAHAHAHA! You are sooo damn funny. But the question was "Perfect Lazy Day" not "Favorite Erotic Fantasy" HAHAHAHA! Anything that involves Astroglide is not going to fit the definition of lazy! HAHAHAHAHA!!!
A - Private school might be a good thing for the kids. I went to Catholic school twice when I was growing up and I honestly don't remember any particularly negative moments... actually I don't remember it being much different from public school except for the religion and the uniforms. But I was young.
OK, I'm having a pretty damn good day... ask me why.. go ahead.. ask... OK! I'll tell you! NOTHING boosts a woman's ego like a hot 21 year old hitting on you... yeah sure he was trying to make a sale, but he did say I had nice boobs! (and that was AFTER I told him I didn't want any.... of.. what he.. was.. selling that is)
All right... back to your usual programing of my bitching (what else?)
Everytime I go to the gym I end up on the treadmill infront of the damn television. There's no choice... the televisions are right in front of the treadmils. There are 4 of them and they are all set to different stations - right below each television it shows what station to set your radio to so you can hear it. One of them is always set to watch some brainless crap like The Bachlor. I watched part of it sans the sound (I think I would have spontanously vomited if I had been able to hear it). I'm looking at the television and I see this incredibly hot guy who is 'The Bachlor'... wait a minute.. your telling me that HE can't find a date? As if! Then of course all the girls are all hot and perfect. So... let me see if I have this right... Some network went out and found this really really hot bachlor and ask him if they could set him up with a bunch of really hot girls to date for 6 or 8 weeks (or whenever they've milked this cash cow dry) and he has to eliminate one each week, then at the end he'll be left with the girl of his dreams? Yeah... that makes so damn much sense to me. Let's take this hot guy... who needs no help getting a date... and set him up with a bunch of club bunnies... who also need no help getting dates... Now I can see why a guy would agree to this - what the hell, take the chance to get hooked up with a bunch of hot girls - you bet. But the girls? What the hell are they thinking? Why would anyone put themselves in the position of being publicly humiliated and rejected? I mean 15 minutes of fame is great and all but is it worth being publicly rejected on television? And I'm soooooo sure this guy is REALLY looking at the person beneath that pretty package... that he isn't making his decision solely based on who has the best tits. *eyes rolling up in head* ... Pardon me why I vomit...
I am so sick of all the 'Reality' shows. I thought the networks had reached their all time low with "Who Wants To Marry A Millionaire" - that was a phenominal mistake on their part... but apparently that wasn't a mistake to them. Since then they have had so many 'Reality' shows I can not even keep up with them.. but the sleaziest of them are the ones that really piss me off 'Temptation Island'.. now what couple in their right mind would subject their relationship to that kind of crap? I mean 50% of all marriages end in divorce these days as it is, why intentionally put yourself in a position like that? Sheesh...
I know that these programs are popular (all the more disgust from me) but damn... when will this trend end? when will these types of programs only be airing on MTV or some other vapid cable network? When can we go back to the normal brainless drivel of network television? I think a REAL 'Reality' program would kill this trend... Maybe 'Who Wants To Date A Computer Geek' where they find the most pathetic computer geek and try to fix him up with some hot girl, or maybe 'Who's My Daddy?' where they try to pin down the paternity of some ho's baby .. oh wait... that would be Jerry Springer wouldn't it?...
*sigh* TV sucks...

Two For Tuesday
1. Tell us about your first time you ever kissed someone. Now please, you don't have to limit yourself, we wanna hear allllll about it. You know you want to tell everyone.
Yikes! I can NOT remember! I can remember one of the first times... but for the life of me I can not remember that first kiss. Hmmm...
2. This one was sort of a toss up. So we'll leave it to your first job. (I'll leave the scandalous questions for later) We have all had those first jobs that we're not proud of, so it's time for everyone to fess up!
First real job... a file clerk. I've never worked fast food and only worked in retail once. I've been sheltered in corporate America. HAHAHAHAHA!

OK, this is irritating.. and it's stupid too. But this happens about 3 or 4 times a year. People sign up for AOL Instant Messenger using my e-mail account. It completly pisses me off. Someone did it just a few minutes ago. These people are stupid. All I have to do is go to the site and request the password, then go sign on and change it. I always change it to something like 'dumbass' or 'buttface'. Tonight this 'bright' person was on AIM when I signed on so it bumped them off, they imediately signed back on - which bumped me, but I had already had enough time to click on change password and changed it successfully. Why would you sign up using an unknown person's e-mail address? they might be just like me and want nothing more than to just fuck with someone who does this. Now I just change the password, I used to get on their account and harrass people on their buddy list and change the profile to something offensive. I just don't like people using my e-mail for this. I get MORE than enough SPAM in my mail box, I don't need more. Anyway.. this stupid moment brought to you by AIM.
A - a movie sounds awsome! Just let me know when you can escape the hubby and kids and we'll be OFF!
Yes there are health benefits to eating jalapenos and other peppers... I think the stuff is called capsisin (sp?) and it has a lot of health benefits. I'll look up some links and post them here for you.
As far as black pepper, I don't know.. I've never heard of any advise to NOT eat black pepper. And the advice about sodium I think really only applies to people who are sodium sensitive. I read something once about how for years Dr.s had advised that sodium contributed to high blood pressure, but that it wasn't exactly the truth and in most people sodium does not cause a change in blood pressure. Although there are other more important reasons to steer clear of excess sodium - water retention (which sucks so much), sodium interfers with the absorption of calcium and can actually cause calcium loss from your bones (as does phosphoric acid... something that is in cokes and diet cokes *note to all non southers reading this.. we southerners mean all carbonated beverages when we say coke...*)... I know there are lots of other medical reasons to limit sodium but I can't think of them right now.. and since I'm not a Dr. (I just play one on TV) I could be inaccurate on some of these tidbits. Anyway.. I'll look for a few links for you.

Shoot.. I talk to much don't I? I was just looking at other people's answers to the questions, and no one else has paragraphs for answers.. sheesh.. not that any of you really give that much of a crap about my answers. *sigh* I guess I need to learn how to be consise in an answer.
Anyway... I have something else to ramble on about for a bit.. I had considered breaking my rule about discussing politics as there are so many topics in that arena that I could spout off about, but I decided to step away from the computer and have a 'cooling off period' so to speak, and came to the conclusion that politics are best left to others to discuss on their blogs. But! I do have a good topic to discuss.. It could sort of be considered political in a way.. probably just rediculous though.. and that's RIGHT UP MY ALLEY! ALIENS!
OK, watching Star Trek (Don't laugh at me! I know I'm a geek!) and I started thinking of a friend of mine (who will remain nameless on here so as not to be guilty of slander or just posting about what a dork he really is) who is into this SETTI thing (don't ask what that means, it's something about aliens and listening to space...) then I started thinking about some other alien movies, like "Invasion of The Body Snatchers", "Invasion from Mars", "Mars Attacks", etc. (yeah I know, I've seen way to many bad movies...). Most of the Star Trek movies make the aliens something worth knowing and being allies with... then there are the other movies that make the aliens out like monsters and all... Me personally, I have NO clue if there are aliens out there or not, and if there are, I'm not so sure I would want them here on Earth... but I'm also not sure I wouldn't want them either. (how's that for stradling the fence!) I mean if they were cool like the Star Trek aliens or even the ones of 'V' then sure I'd like them to be neighbors and all but if they were creepy and evil like.. all the rest of the movies.. fuck them. Although.. if they are smart aliens, they'd probably just detour past Earth - we humans have done plenty to this planet to fuck it up, I doubt they'd want to make it their next vacation spot.
hmmm... maybe I should stop.. I had this thought in mind a few days ago, and I wrote it down.. now here I am trying to write about it.. and it's totally not what I had intended.. HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA! Insanity...

OK, here are my answers:
Monday Mission 2.42
1. Have you ever felt like you were expected to set a good example for others?
oh yeah, especially when I was a Sunday school teacher.
2. What keeps you on the right path? For example, why do you think you turned out the way you did as opposed to the nut ball sniper out there?
Hmmm... I'm not sure. Maybe that my parents were strict about some things, and they really stressed that if I screwed up I'd have to be responsible for it. Also, they were not in the habit of bailing me out of my mistakes... We never really discussed a lot of morals and ethics.. but they did stress that if you were expecting to be treated as an adult you were expected to be responsible for your own actions, that lieing was unacceptable and that disagreeing was ok, but being disrespectful was not.
3. Sometimes things seem different than they really are. When was the last time you believed something to be one way only to learn you had it all wrong?
hmmm.. that actually has happened a lot. I care not to get into that on here...
4. Can you recall a time when being alert and observant kept you safe?
Let's see... that would be anytime I have to drive to or from work! Or anywere in this crazy city!
5. Who in your personal circle of relationships do you think is smarter than you? Are they smarter in just one area, or overall? How do you feel about that? How do they interact with you?
Well actually a lot of the people in my circle of friends are smarter than me in a lot of areas. I know a lot of people with multiple degrees, etc. No I don't think they are smarter overall.. I don't think anyone is smarter than me overall (or anyone for that matter)... maybe in a lot of areas, but not overall... there's always going to be someone who is smarter in someway, but there will always be areas that I am much smarter in than they are. Eh, it's just life, doesn't bother me. My friends and I are all on equal footing socially - I have one who I am extremely competitive with as far as games are concerned - he's one of the multiple degree people - I beat him in just about every game we play and that just chaps his ass. Occasionally I thow him a bone and let him win a game but that just makes him paranoid. HAHAHAHAHA! Yeah I like fucking with him like that.
6. Let's daydream a little: Describe in detail the most perfect lazy day, start to finish.
OK, this is just how I feel about this today.. tomorrow I might have a different answer... but right now in this time it would be to sleep late, then get up and have a breakfast of chocolate covered donuts (Krispy Kreme only please) with chocolate milk, then go back to bed to read until I fall asleep again (which would not be long with a carb overload like that) then get up sometime later to recline on the couch and watch cartoons for a while, takeing time to play computer games as well.. and having someone bring me lunch of Taco Bell... Watch more cartoons, maybe some brit comedies, South Park or Farscape, have someone else make and serve me dinner, then watch a movie that's so funny milk comes out my nose (even if I'm not drinking it) and my sides hurt, then sit and solve the world problems and discuss politics until I'm sleepy and head off to bed.
I'm feeling severly lazy today.
7. Are you dressing up for Halloween? If so, what as? If not, how come? What is the most favorite costume you ever had?
Probably not, no real reason to dress up. Hmmm.. probably the butterfly costume my mom made me when I was 3. I've never had a cool costume as an adult *sigh* I always spend so much time getting everyone else's costume made and ready that I NEVER give myself enough time to make one for myself.
BONUS: Come on baby tell me what's the word? KFC gravy
Today's Comment Question: What gives you the creeps? Spiders! Big nasty spiders! EEEKKK!

Wow.... L - that is quite traumatic with your landlord. I don't blame you for wanting to move. I sure as hell would not feel safe either. Your landlord sounds like a world class pervert now. If not that, then he's got some real boundry issues. Good luck with whatever you decide.
Big HUGS! I do feel sorry for you... that's so awful to have your safety, security and privacy violated like that.
A - I can't wait to see the pictures of the little ones! Call me some time.... *You never write... you never call... I might as well be dead over here... *

D sent me these little tidbits - I've heavily edited the list, so it only has the one's I think are funny.. or especially interesting... hehehehe...
Interesting Facts
The strongest muscle in the human body is the tongue. *snicker* That's a fun fact!
Kidney stones come in any color--from yellow to brown. That's a disgusting thought... a purple kidney stone
If you ate too many carrots you would turn orange. *note to self* buy lots of carrots to test this ...
You can tell if a skunk is about if you smell only .000000000000071 ounce of its spray. Pardon me, are you wearing Eau De Skunk?
The colder the room you sleep in, the better the chances are that you'll have a bad dream. (BY 85 PERCENT) I think that's bullshit... I've had my most disturbing dreams in a hot room...
After eating too much, your hearing is less sharp. It's not that they can't hear you, they're ignoring you! Nobody wants to be the one to do the dishes!
Your urine will turn bright yellow if you eat too much asparagus. *note to self* add asparagus to grocery list...
4 million children die each year from inhaling smoke from indoor cooking fires that burn wood and Dung Well darn, I guess I need to get rid of my indoor wood/dung burning stove...

Whew... I'm tired today... What a day yesterday was... I worked - that was cool (except the M-Th idiot left too many babies to be done for me... dumbass!).. then I went to an event with D&S. Yesterday it started raining... hard... the event was at a statium... with a big fucking hole in the roof! We got there early to beat the trafic and get good seats (and we did - they rocked...) we ended up sitting in the rain (with lovely yellow hefty bag-ish rain ponchos on) for 4 hours. Luckily it wasn't all that cold, just wet.. but remember that lovely, silky straight hair of mine... well it was a kinky, curly, mass of frizz by the time I went to bed! HAHAHA! I looked like I had a red brillo pad on my head this morning! hehehe... so It's curly today (doesn't look like a brillo pad now though).. far too much humidity for straight hair.. I had fun with D&S - it was a lot of fun (thanks D for taking me, and feeding me, and the shirt, and the drinks (just Dr. Pepper guys, no booze) and the CD... THANK!). By the time I got home and walked through the door, after 4 hours of soaked feet, wet hair and damp pants.. I felt completly inhuman.. and I was a bit cold. OH.. and I had a sinus headache at the event... D gave me these sinus tablets... I think she had me take one to many! I was awake until 3 am!!!! YIKES! I got up at 6:30 am this morning.. so I haven't had much sleep.. I'm surprised I am able to move at this very moment..
Again.. I have to ask, why is it that some people are so fucking rude? I walked into one person's room to see if they wanted pictures and the mother and the grandmother gave me such a dirty look and were soooooooo rude to me that I'm not going to even go back tomorrow to see if they want pictures.. even if they are calling the nurse to ASK for them... I won't take them. They were total bitches to me and that was totally uncalled for.
So.. do you ever get huge cravings for some horrible junk food? And you MUST have it... crave it for days on end other wise? Yeah me too.. I'm having a junk food craving.. and it's making me crazy because I want KFC original recipe with mashed potatoes and gravy (and a biscut!) so much.. I generally reserve KFC for special occasions like Elvis Day (my celebration of Elvis' birthday... eat KFC, watch a bad Elvis Movie *read... any Elvis movie* , wear sparkly polyester jump suit and side burns, contemplate wether the "Blue Hawaii" clashes with the 'Blue Suede Shoes" or not...). But damn it.. I want KFC.. I think it's all the rain.. maybe lack of sleep... or.... all the sinus medication... acting like uppers... making me feel Elvis-ish... therefore... making me crave... JUNK FOOD! oh... I think that might have even made a little bit of sense... hmmm.. I should go to bed.. I'm barely coherent...
VIVA LAS VEGAS! ;o)

hmmm... some of it.. not all of it
4. What TV shows do you absolutely HAVE to watch, and if you miss them, you're heartbroken?
None...
5. If you had the power to create your own television network, what would your line-up look like?
hmmm..... probably something like Cartoon Network but with better cartoons.

Here's something to ponder for Friday...
DID YOU KNOW?
We share 98.4% of our DNA with a chimp - and 70% with a slug.
hmmm.... 70% slug... well that explains a lot...
AND *drum roll please* THE FRIDAY FIVE!!! (I'll answer these when I get home tonight...)
1. How many TVs do you have in your home?
2. On average, how much TV do you watch in a week?
3. Do you feel that television is bad for young children?
4. What TV shows do you absolutely HAVE to watch, and if you miss them, you're heartbroken?
5. If you had the power to create your own television network, what would your line-up look like?
Well I'm headed off to work... don't miss me too much. *smooches!*

OK, I have a dilemma, I have a part time job that I love, but pays shit - $6 an hour (plus $2 commission on ever package I sell, $.50 on every picture I take but don't sell - I can take about 2 baby pics an hour). And the hours are not guaranteed. But I LOVE what I do. (I take baby pictures at the hospitals here). Now I have a friend who knows of a job, and can get it for me - and it would make $10 an hour working Friday Saturday and Sunday (those are days I already work now) from 10 am - 6 pm. But the job is a bit of a drive from where I live and.. the job is mind numbingly boring. I love love love taking the pictures, but I really would love love love making more money.. I need to see how long it would take me to get to work.. if I took the other job.
I need some feed back? WWYD? (don?t limit your answer to just these options either?)

OK, I'm back to obsessing about my hair. I promise this will be the last picture I'll put on here... so you won't be tortured any longer.
Oh wait.. here I am again. HAHAHAHA! No really I promise.. this is the LAST one.
So what do you think? should I stick with this? It takes a bit longer to do, and if I'm in a rush, I just can't do it.. but.. if I do it like this, I don't have to wash it every day.. and once it's like this, if it get's a bit messy later, I can just brush it... although if it get's humid.. then I'll definatly look like a big poodle... hehehe... think about that!

Something for Thursday
3X Thursday
1. What is the best Halloween costume that you have ever worn?
Hmmm... damn.. that's a good question... I've had a lot of crappy costumes in my life.. toga, serial killer, punk rocker, lame ghost... to name a few.. OH I know.. when I was 3, my mom made me this adorable butterfly costume for me.. I remember getting ready to go trick or treating and putting on these cute wings my mom had made and painted herself. I thought I was the cutiest thing in the world.
2. What is the best horror or Halloween related movie in your view?
I have to say the classic 'Halloween' with Jamie Lee Curtis. I do love that movie. In fact I do love most of those slasher movies from that era... 'Hotel Hell' comes in somewhere in the top 10 because it is a dog of a movie but it's pretty damn creepy.
3. What is your favorite tradition and activity for Halloween and why?
Trick or Treating! Why? well the obvious reason... FREE CANDY! I LOVED Halloween as a kid... trick or treating was the best.. the only time my parents would let me stay out as long as we wanted (and we would canvas the neighborhood untill the lights were being turned off...), and it totally did not matter if you had a good costume or not.. infact I think the lamer the costume the more the adults felt sorry for you and gave you more candy. Ahhh the sheer joy of a pillow case so full of candy you could hardly carry it, then getting home and eating as much as you could before bed time (when our parents would raid our candy...)... because every child knew that come morning, all that candy would have mysteriously disapeared. It would show up 3 or 4 pieces at a time in your lunch sack until Thanksgiving when all that would be left would be that horrible peanutbutter taffy that even the dog was getting sick of... *sigh* life was so unfair...
Bonus for comments: What should BBQ and I dress up as for Halloween? Flashers... and I want to see pictures.. ;o)

whew... had to take a break from that book 'The Regulators'... why the hell do I read books like this? this is absolutly disturbing.. especially since someone has started terriorizing the DC area... a weird sniper in a van... Not entirely like this book, other than the weird sniper in the van part. Except... I can't stop reading this.. It's totally gruesome and disgusting.. but I want to finish the book. It's not one of SK's better novels either... very long - I'm only about 143 pages in a 470 page book... I'm going to have to actually either check this out from my local library or get a copy at half price or I'll never finish this bastard book.. and this is the kind of book that will haunt you.. make you wonder how it ends... come back to your subconcious and play it's little scenes out.. then stop... make you wonder what happend to the characters... who died next? make you hope it wasn't that one character that you really liked.. the one that made sense to you, like y'all had become friends... Make you wish for the asshole of the story to get blown away next... and no one else... and you HAVE to finish the book... absolutly HAVE to get it.. no matter how much you might not want to read anymore.. the morbid curiosity get's the best of you and nags at you until you finally give in and finish the book... giving yourself nightmares and unpleasant thoughts that sneak up on you at the most inopportune moments... SK's books always do that to me.. Damn myself for picking this one up. I've never left a King book unfinished.. and several of them have given me the nightmare that scares you even when the lights are on. Lots of them have left their nasty little footprints on my memory.. waiting to pop into my conciousness and give me goose flesh at a moments notice.. for instance.. anytime I see heavy fog, I can't help but get a bit of a chill as I think of The Mist... eeek! It took me years to be able to walk into a closet without getting the heebe-jeebies. Saint Bernards still make me all teary eyed and a bit frightened as I think back to Cujo... And damn it if I didn't pick up another of these books that only a psychiatrist looking to cash in on my neurosis would recommend to me... Now I'll have an uneasy feeling about vans... hmmph... well I should go.. gotta see if I can finish a couple more chapters before I go (yes I'm a glutton for punishment... I'll make sure to watch a nice Disney movie before bed, hopeing to disuade my feeble mind from the sure to be gruesome nightmares...)
OK, so here I am... done earlier than expected so I'm at the Public Library (hey... what exactly would a private library be? A bookshelf full of books at your own home? hmmm....). This is always such an experience. Such a lack of decent reading material.. Last time I was here I was reading one of Steven King's Bachman books.. I think it was called the Regulators or something like that. I went and looked at the book store for it a week or so ago but it was $8 for a soft cover copy! FUCK! I'll just check it out from the local library or find it at half price. Yeah I know... I'm extremly CHEAP.
Well I truly proved myself to be the Queen of the Dorks today. I was trying to EAT in the car... was just starving so I went through and got a chicken sandwich and fries... I rarely ever eat in the car... and usually have like french fries or chicken nuggets... well today I was not using my head at ALL. I'm trying to drive, hold this big ole' samich in my left hand and eat... I ended up dropping the damn thing on me half way through. I started laughing so hard. Luckily I have a brown sweater with stripes of varing colors so the mustard and tomato blend right in. HAHAHAHAHA!!!
Sheesh.. I wish I had something intelectual to discuss but... as usual.. I don't. Damn.. I have nothing of interest to discuss....
So.. I guess it's all that mental bloating for eating all that mental popcorn (read my first post for today.. the cryptic and stupid horoscope).
OH yeah one other dorky thing I did... this is kind of embarassing, but I'll tell you anyway.. your not right in front of me to laugh so what the hell (actually I'd have already told you if you were right in front of me HAHAHAHA)...
So I had gotten a large (i.e. bucket of) coke with my chicken sandwich and I really had to go when I got to the library. So I go in there.. *note.. this morning I had put on some pants that I haven't worn in years and years.. they have two buttons (I guess for extra security or something) and they fit great..* so I head right for the ladies room. Im trying to get the second button undone with the urgency of nature calling.. and I tore the button right off my pants! hehehehe... thank God for two buttons!
Oh well... hmm.. I guess that was funnier to me than anything... Sombody! Give me a topic to discuss!
HAPPY BIRTHDAY JAKE!

It's a sensitive Wednesday, Judy!
A passionate interchange with a partner could be the mental picture that stays in your head today. This inner film reel will keep you a bit detached from mundane chores, as well as satiating your desire for someone who currently cannot be with you all of the time. Get settled with some mental popcorn and enjoy!
HAHAHAHAHAHA!
Anyway - must welcome another reader - Peter - thanks for the nice e-mail this morning. Feel free to stop by my little Whine Cellar anytime. ;o)
Strange... last night I had bizarre dreams. One was odd.. it had all the facts correct... but it didn't happen like that? had all the main characters but not in the right time period or sequence... then I had an extra person in there who had nothing to do with any of this. Jake! Weird. I guess he got included because I was reading his blog last night.. and his bio on his blog (he's a cutie... but young...). Damn.. that was strange though..
Anyway.. must run.. have to dry my hair.. just needed to get warm from my ever so cold shower... since SOMEONE in this household used ALL the hot water on a marathon shower this morning. *sheesh*
Brrr... heading off to dry my hair.. then gotta go get that mental popcorn. ;o)

Ah-ha! After much searching I found the 'Satan Cookie' e-mail ... for your reading pleasure... (this was written October 29, 2001)...
So my husband goes out with our daughter yesterday while I’m working and gets stuff to make a nice dinner for us. Well he also got desert for us… cookies… not just any cookies but the best cookies… really I mean it, the ABSOLUTE BEST cookies. They are sugar cookies, but they are soft and they are iced… yum…. Not something I would normally buy, and I never did … until.. my sister gave me one. And from that one cookie I became hopelessly addicted to these sugary delicacies. From that point on, I avoided them in the store.. sometimes it became hard as they were stacked in their shiny little boxes on a table near the entrance of the store, then I would eye them as I walked past. Look at them… consider how tasty they are… then I’d look at the price $3.99! That would send me on my way! (I’m sooooo cheap) Occasionally I’d throw caution to the wind and buy a box.. knowing full well that I would end up eating the majority of the cookies within minutes of the box being opened… OK slight exaggeration.. within hours though… an opened box never lasts a whole day. These are the only confection that has this evil mind control over me. And I rarely ever buy it. Otherwise I would never have been able to loose these 37 lb. I have and would have an embarrassing moment trying to explain to my Dr. why I would be existing on devilishly good cookies and milk. Sooo… anyway (gotten a little off the subject here… all that sugar is going to my brain!) Here’s the facts - I recently lost 37 lb., hubby knows this, hubby recently lost 20 lb., we both just joined a gym, he went shopping - unsupervised! - and bought not one, but two boxes of Satan’s little Sugar Cookies (my special name
for them) {His defense ‘They were buy one get one free!’ somebody kill him}! And now… now.. guess how many cookies remain (10 to a box)? 3.. just 3 cookies! (No I didn’t eat them all - he and our daughter helped). I fear stepping on the scale at the gym tonight. *sigh* So my question is Why are they sooooooooooooo good? Why can’t it be something like a banana or an apple? I’ve never heard anyone say "Oh those oranges were so good! I just could not stop eating them! I must have eaten 10!" Or "Gosh those carrots were soooo delicious, I just couldn’t stop eating them until I got to the bottom of the bag!" Oh well my only consolation to myself is that since my throat was soo sore from the Anthrax.. I mean Strep… I couldn’t eat hardly anything for 3 days… so.. maybe it all evens out… maybe… Oh well I better go use the rest of this sugar buzz to my advantage and finish cleaning my house! Ta for now! Watch out for those cookies!

OK - Let me tell you about my adventures today before I get to side tracked.
This morning I suddenly remember that I have 3 envelopes in my car of photo stuff for work. DUCK! Today is TUESDAY and these were from the WEEKEND! So... I needed to get off my ass and get them in the mail. So I leap into the shower, stay in there long enough to wash the stink off (although I was not stinky, I stayed in the required time it would have taken to remove stink IF I was stinky... so ... don't start thinking I'm stinky... nuf said..) and threw on some clothes. Dash to the car, realize I NEED GAS desperatly, off to Albertsons to get money. When I get there, I see 5 (yes 5!!!) firemen going into the store. WHOOO-HOO! I do have a thing for firemen... (firemen, cowboys, police men, men in uniform... just like most women...) Soooo... I go into the store and pretend to be shopping around them so I can look at them in their tight wranglers... (shit I love living in a not so large town in the south - where the fire fighter uniform consists of Wranglers and blue golf shirts with the fire station emblem on them... ahhh... that combines two of my favorite kinds of men to watch...), Then I went and got $20 for gas. Off to the gas station where I open the little door to the fuel tank and suddenly REMEMBER that I needed a gas cap since the VERY first time I put gas in this car I left the gas cap on the trunk of my car... sheesh.. so I stop the pump at $16, I figure a gas cap could not cost more than $4. I look in the station when I pay, but they don't have any. Off to WalMart for a gas cap. I find the automotive section with little or no trouble and find they have 2 types of caps available... hmmm... damn... I have no clue... so I ask the person at the counter to help me, she looks in a book and tells me which one to get. And guess how much the cap costs? less than $4? NO! $4.27!! Damn it! of course I only have $4 in cash, so I wander though WalMart looking for anything else I just MIGHT need (want) and get a few things.. end up spending $9.53... damn... So out I go, put the cap on my car... and it's almost lunch time. I head to Taco Bell, which I have discovered is THE place for all the hot cowboy type worker guys to go for lunch. Ahhhh... $2.88 for a decent lunch and 30 minutes of lusting. Nothing brightens a day like a little lusting...
Damn.. I should not have made cookies yesterday.. they are absolutly fabulous... and I can NOT stop eating them. Damn... Damn... Damn.. they are very very close to the Satan cookies (Lofthouse)... In fact I do belive I could alter this recipe just a tad and make almost exact replicas of the Satan Cookies... *sigh* (for thoes of you not familiar with the Satan Cookie storie.. I'll have to dig that up and post it here... Anyway.. I think I've eaten 5 or 10 dozen cookies today *sigh* (ok maybe not that many.. but I feel like it...) Damn... My hips must WANT to be wider...
Strange question.. why, oh why, do men get hair growing out of their ears as they get older? that is the most disgusting thing in the world.. Hell it's almost enough to make a straight woman become a lesbian just to avoid that horror of old age with a man... I think that's why God made men die before women.. so they don't have to suffer as long with old, hairy eared men.
L - that is freaky about your landlord. Don't be offended at his clumsy pass at you... Hell I take any pass by any man as a compliment. And good for you for turning him down.. the last thing you need is to screw the landlord, then have you both feel akward and weird and have to move so you don't have to face him ever again... hmmm... me personally, I probably would have no quams about doing something quite so foolish and would never realize it was such a stupid thing to do until I received an eviction notice from him...
Tonight I walked around the lake near me. Twice.. that's about 2 and a half miles. I'm surprised I could do that. If you would have asked me if I could walk 2.5 miles at once, I would definatly say no. Well if you had asked me if it was just over a mile around the lake I would have told you not it wasn't.. I'm really bad at judging distance.. and direction... I'm surprised I can find my way home from the store some days.. hell I'm surprised I don't get lost going up stairs in my own town house a lot.
Must run.. will look for Satan Cookie story...

Thank you L - my hair is my pride and joy... I actually have not stepped foot in a salon to get it cut in almost 4 years! It really does need a trim... but I have lost touch with my hair dresser and have not found a suitable replacement. I know I could call him and he would cut it with out giving me shit.. and he ALWAYS does a GREAT job.. I usually tell him what I think I want and he nods and says 'Um-hum.." a lot.. then looks at my hair and cuts it into something that looks fabulous. Once I told him I wanted layers, and he just 'um-hum'd me... and he did NOT cut them into my hair... I was actually quite happy he didn't... I know I would have regretted it. Anyway... I should call him.. but he's un-godly expensive. I have another friend who is a hair dresser, but this is a woman... and her hair is short..... I just can not trust a woman to cut my hair.. I must have a gay man... a Hair Fairy to be exact... woman have butchered my hair and left me unhappy... Hair Fairies... well.. they work magic. Anyway... I think I'll do my hair straight for a few weeks until it get's to be too much trouble hehehehe... then I'll be back to my normal curls.
And OMG - Fried Twinkies! HAHAHAHAHAHA! I think my cholesteral went up just reading that!
Well I must run for now.. I'll write more in a bit... must write about lunch at Taco Bell... mmmm mmmm good...

OMG - L - I was laughing so hard at your answers. *sigh* I needed that... Also.. you should be able to click on 'All Quiet [0]' and leave a comment. I don't belive you have to be a member of anything to leave a comment. Ahhhh how I wish I had my own site like you. OH well maybe someday.. I'm not quiet computer/web savy enough to do something like that...
Anyway... I'll tell you about the one interesting thing from this weekend in just a min, but first I must tell you my adventures in dorkiness for today.
so I color my hair today (oh don't even pretend to be surprised...) and I was wiping the counter after I rinsed my hair/showered. I saw this spot on the floor, so I dropped the rag on the floor and proceded to clean said spot. Well my big ole' hips bump this stack of towels on the counter and knock my cordless phone into the sink... full of water... so I had to blow dry my phone. Sheesh...
Later... I'm making cookies... (don't know what's gotten into me... I have this urge to make cookies and decorate them.... must be insanity setting in...) I make the cookies, then I'm making the frosting... I cut the recipe in half so I'm trying to figure how to cut the frosting in half also. I put the butter in with the powdered sugar and turn on the beaters... POOF! large white cloud *coff!* *coff!*... then when I have that beaten in.. I look and there's this tiny tiny amount of frosting! Shit! so I dump in the rest of the powdered sugar. hehehe... Now I think I made too much! But I can truly say I'm a sweet person... I'm lightly covered in sugar. ;o)
I went to see a movie this weekend.... another rarity.. I usually don't like seeing movies in the theater... short attention span... Anyway, we go to see My Big Fat Greek Wedding. OMG - that is soooooo funny. go see it. Some critics said it's predictable, yadda, yadda, yadda... yeah well it is, but it's still funny and a great movie. Some parts are so sweet and touching, I cried in a few places, but it's a LOT of laughs.
Anyway.. I should go now... clean this sugar off me before the ants carry me away...

Monday Mission 2.41 my answers... I know you've been waiting. hehehehe....
1. What's the most expensive meal you've ever eaten? What was the occasion? Was it worth it?
The month after our apartment was damaged in a fire, hubby and I went to Ruth's Chris Steak House for Valentine's day. I was hopeing, hopeing, hopeing that I would be able to tell him that I was pregnant then, but I wasn't yet... Anyway.... It was extremely expensive and extremely good! Well after writing all that.. there is another time that is pretty close on this... a couple of years ago, we could not get a baby sitter for our oldest so that we could go to hubby's Christmas party so we took the little one and went to Paul's Porterhouse for dinner. We didn't realize that they did NOT have high chairs or kid anything (well duh... it's not really a kid place..)... but they were extremely nice about it, if not a little leary of us. It turned out just fine. The owner of the restaraunt was so charmed by our little one (who by the grace of God, stayed in her seat and did not make a huge mess or throw a fit at all) that he brought her quail soup (which she absolutly loved). We fed her off our plates and she ate it. hehehe... it was a very good time for us... the bill was HUGE (it always is there...) and the owner gave my little one a rose when we left (they always give the women roses when you leave)... it was so worth it...
2. What do you like to do when nobody is looking? oh gosh... I love to eat spicy pork rinds! LOVE them! but I won't eat them infront of anyone other than my husband... heck I won't even put them in my cart at the grocery store if anyone is around. HAHAHAHA!
3. What's your special purpose? Hmmm... to bring peace and happiness to everyone's life I touch. HA! I'm not sure, but I think it probably has something to do with scarcasm. hehehehe... Sheesh... what kind of question is that? I have no clue...
4. Do you like Autumn? If so, why? If not, tell me about your favorite season. I love autumn.. It's the end to the sweltering heat down here... everyone loves Autumn down here... although I do wish the leaves would change color down here.. that would make it perfect.
5. Ever recommended a movie to someone only to have them hate it? Which movie? Did you feel uncomfortable about that? Yup, I recommended A Nightmare Before Christmas, and they hated it. Nope I didn't feel uncomfortable. I don't want to put down what I did think because it was not a very nice thought towards that person. hehehehe....
6. I've had hay fever all day! Sniffles, sneezing, I tell ya, it's awful! Do you have any allergies? Anything that just gets you down for the count? I have sinus issues. When the weather changes I get horrible sinus headaches. In the spring I have some kind of allergies that accompany the sinus issues... then my life is a living hell that requires massive doses of OTC medication just to be able to think straight or stand up with out pain. Gotta love it.
7. Do you like mixed drinks? What is your favorite? As long as we're here how about you order me something too? Just "suprise me!" I like some mixed drinks... bloody mary's and Margaritas are my favorites. It's too early for me to drink.. I'll just have a Dr. Pepper, but I'll order you a screw driver... seems appropriate... *snicker* (there's that scarcasm gift again..)
BONUS: Why do we scream at each other? hmmm... sorry about that.. I tend to speak softly... I always have to repeat myself... I'd prefer if you'd just ask me kindly to repeat myself instead of screaming at me... K? thanks...

Lover Come Back... sheesh.. that was so funny. It's even funnier now... in this day and age... and since EVERYONE knows that Rock Hudson was gay. We were laughing so hard. Doris Day was so funny. If you haven't seen it, go rent it, it's a good laugh.
OK, I've notice something... no one ever leaves comments... Am I not worth commenting? Are my thoughts not thought provoking? Hmmm? eh, just kidding.. Since I know there are only 3 people who read this, and two of you have blogs of your own where you leave lenghty, thought provoking responses to my maniacal rantings... for that I thank you both. ;o) Speaking of posts in response to my rantings... where the heck are you two? I had to run out to visit someone today and neither of you posted a thing... Do you not realize I rely on your thought provoking banter to give me intelectual stimulation? hmmm... your going to force me to head down to my local library (which last year they expanded to a huge complex) to actually seek out knowledge and inspiration from the vast aray of books and publications... actually... I was considering doing just that next week since I now have my own transportation...
Well anyway... I obviously have nothing to talk about.. just rambling to take up space. HAHAHAHA!

L - big laughs on the dentist story! HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA! I think I would continue to go to a dentist if I thought he/she had a crush on me... if nothing else, I'd be sure to they were giving me enough attention... and I might even weasle out a free cleaning or flouride treatment! *snicker*
Now, I would never go to the dental college.. not because I think they would do a bad job or anything, it's a much stupider reason. I like to KNOW who I'm going to see.. As in I need to have a good relationship with my dentist... doctor for that matter. I don't like that uncertainty of not knowing who's going to be stareing into my mouth (or what-not where the doctor is concerned...). And at a dental college I can't establish a good dental relationship with anyone. Like now, I always get my teeth cleaned by Patti. I like her, she know's about me, and she ask questions (she makes notes so she can ask the right questions 6 months later). I've gotten my teeth cleaned by one other hygenist there, and I didn't like her a bit, so if I had to go to her every time, I'd ask for someone new or leave. And my Dr., he's great! And funny. When they were doing the extractions for making room for my braces, he and his assistant were doing lines from Monty Python and the Holy Grail (only the MOST quoted movie). Gotta love that. After the extractions.. I had NO pain what-so-ever... so I love this man and his office full of hygenic, glove wearing, plastic covered, cleaning angels (except for that bitchy blond). OH YEAH! And I always get a goodie bag when I leave! (ok, ok, I know your laughing at me.. go right ahead...) This time I got a small bottle of mouth wash (Listerine.. love that stuff), a tooth brush (PINK!!!), some floss and a finger puppet for my kids. And YES I was excited to get these things! Yes I do get excited about tooth brushes, mouth wash and floss. The BEST present my husband has gotten me to date was an electric tooth brush! - Saddly I burned out the motor when I got my braces (kept forgetting about the wax on my brackets).... but I'm always hopeing that I'll have another one waiting for me at the next gift giving occasion. Hell he could even just buy me 12 tooth brushes in different colors and I'd be thrilled. Yeah I know.. I've got an obsession.. that's ok.. it's a good one.. I haven't had to have a filling since I was in high school and the hygenist always tells me that my teeth look great, I'm doing a fabulous job cleaning them. So...... I need to have a good dental relationship.. it's mandatory...
Hmmm.. I should go... I just realized that I sound a bit like a whack ball. hehehe... think I'll go brush my teeth. HAHAHAHA!

A & L .. hehehe.. you two crack me up! I'm glad I'm not the only one who has thoes sentiments on thoes disney characters... *pauses for a moment to consider how lovely duck a la orange would be*... giant mice should frighten if not annoy just about everyone...
So I went and worked out again tonight.. it's been just over a week since I did... I felt like a slug... but now I'm a worked out slug *please keep the salt away from me*.
I had my teeth cleaned today. I have to confess... I love going to the dentist. Always have. I love having my teeth cleaned. Although the hygenist got on to be about how I need to call my orthodontist... *sigh* I dread doing that... but I did.. have to wait for a call back... now I'll be a big chicken and probably avoid the call. I was all ready to talk about the fact that I haven't been there in over a year and how I'm totally broke, etc. etc...
Last night we went and rented a bunch of old movies. We watched The Maltese Falcon and Auntie Mame last night. I love those movies! Humphrey Bogart was so damn sexy, and that movie is just great. Auntie Mame is a riot no matter how many times I watch it. Tonight it's The King and I and tomorrow will be Lover Come Back - Rock Hudson and Doris Day - damn... I love thoes cheesy Rock Hudson/Doris Day movies. So entertaining...
Well.. I need to get going for now...

Well.. I need to get going for now...
1. Heroines: Ariel (Little Mermaid) or Belle (Beauty & the Beast)?
OK... tough one... I love both stories... I love Ariel.... that's my favorite story from childhood... and she's a cute redhead... but I love Belle also... my second favorite from child hood... Although... people are dissing Ariel as being a bimbo and not likeing that she gave it all up for a man she never met... well :oP to you! I love a good love story/fairy tale.
2. More heroines: Mulan or Pocahontas?
Mulan rocks. (especially if we are talking the Disney movie... IRL Mulan was just a folk tale... but a good one... Pocahontas was an incredible woman who helped shape this nation)
3. Princesses: Snow White or Cinderella?
Cinderella... I liked the talking mice.
4. Toy Story: Buzz or Woody?
hmmm.... depends on if it's TSI or TSII.... TSI - Woody... TSI Buzz
5. Animals: Simba (Lion King) or Bambi?
Simba! I love lions.. and Lion King is such a great movie... Although I do like Bambi... especially if he's served rare with a side of mashed potatoes and gravy!
6. Naughty boys: Peter Pan or Pinocchio?
Hmmm... I guess Peter Pan... although he was a bit of a jerk. Pinocchio would have been cool.. because he was a puppet.. you could have made some money off him! (hey... didn't someone try that?...)
7. Sidekicks: Sebastian the Crab (Little Mermaid) or Jiminy Cricket (Pinocchio)?
Although I love crickets (lucky bugs) I find Jiminy rather irritating and a definate reason to call Terminex... Sebastian has that cool accent.
8. Villians: Wicked Queen (Snow White) or Cruella DeVil (101 Dalmations)?
Oh Cruella DeVil hands down! She had style! (gosh I loved that coat!)
9. Classics: Goofy or Pluto?
Goofy is an idiot... Pluto... I always wanted a dog like Pluto
10. And of course: Mickey or Donald?
Hmmm.... neither... I think someone should set a large trap for Mickey and Donald should be plucked and stuffed for Thanksgiving dinner. hehehehe... yeah I know.. I'm bad... probably has something to do with a certain toddler watching a certain (now missing) Mickey Mouse Christmas tape over and over....
Ok, your turn! Can't wait for your answers.

This is my Dewey Color system personality profile:
You're a Forecaster
You break everything down to its simplest form. Then you critique past events in order to see the future. Others are amazed at your predictions.
The passionate you demands a stimulating environment and the time to enjoy it. With a probing curiosity, you uncover what you want and how to get it. Ideas come together to create fun possibilities.
The centered you perceives exactly which situations and relationships are inspirational. When all is quiet within, you decide what new things you are going to explore.
The emotional you remains open to the world. When you feel good, your naive approach to life can charm even the most jaded. You are concerned, considerate, and hard-working. Pleasing others motivates you.
hehehe... funny... go here Dewey Color Analysis and amuse yourself for 3 mins by taking this - post your results (to amuse me...)
Yes A part of having a blog is so you CAN whine when you want to... I feel a very good whine coming on... I'll be back when I'm sure it's of a rich full bouquet... something nice to go with dinner ;o)

Time for...*drum roll please*.. the Monday Mission 2.40
1. I just got back from a family reunion. It was ok, but I find those gatherings a little boring. Does your family ever have any reunions or annual get-togethers? Do you enjoy them? Um... reunion.... hmmm... last one was like.... 17 or 18 years ago.. we get together the obligatory once or twice a year for holidays. Sometimes I enjoy them... depends on if anyone is fighting or if anyone is trying to make the who 'experience' into something it isn't. It's best if they just let things happen.
2. A gal I work with told me that when her husband's drivers licsence comes up for renewal, she swipes it. She says he won't ever pose for pictures and that's the only way she can get a photo of him. Is that not creepy? Are you a picture person? Do you like taking photos, and having yours taken? I'm like a canned ham. I love pictures and I love having my picture taken.... well since I lost 40 lbs. I do now.
3. Time for show and tell: post a recent photo of yourself! since you insist! This was me yesterday!
4. I have a cousin I always knew as Jay. As he got into college, he began to go by Greg. Turns out is name was Greg, Junior. Jay was short for Junior! Can't blame him for changing it. Did you ever have a nick-name growing up? How did it come about? Did you ever give anyone a nickname that stuck? Yup, mom called me Pudy... she rhymed it with Judy... Judy Pudy... It's been shortened to Pooh now. I like that MUCH better. Hmmm.. yup.. I'm bad about giving people nick names. Started calling a friend Petey a long time ago.. and that stuck. LOL
5. Since I don't have cable, a friend promised to send me a few episodes of "Trading Spaces," the show where folks redecorate someone else's home (and I'm still waaaaiiiting on that tape). But that got me to thinking about how I'd change my own house if I were able. And the room I'd do first would be the bathroom. If you could design the bathroom of your dreams, what would it be like? Spare no expense! hmmm.. huge garden tub, but a BIG shower also... a lot like what I had at my house.. just bigger tub and a bigger shower...
6. I've been trying to catch up on the early seasons of Buffy the Vampire Slayer in re-runs, though I've been told to buy the DVDs. But I think I'd rather borrow them if I could. But there are a few television shows I'd like to own on DVD (like "The Flash" and "Max Headroom"). What shows (if any) do you own in a video collection? What TV shows would you like to see collected on DVD or video? Hubby has some of the Star Trek stuff. We'd both love 'Far Scape' (which is being cancled! whaaaa!!!!)
7. I recently watched "Chitty-Chitty Bang-Bang" again, first time since I was little. It held up pretty well, unlike some movies that are better in your memory than they are when you see them again (like "E.T." good movie, but for me, better as a memory). Do you have any favorite movies from your childhood? Do you think you would still enjoy them if you watched them today? Wizard of Oz - I watch it about once a year. I do love that so much. But I realize there are many movies that are better left as fond memories, so I don't seek out to many 'great movies from childhood'. LOL
BONUS: Don't you know you're sleeping in a spotlight? Sleeping in it? Hell I live in the spotlight! yeah baby, I'm a star!
Today's comment question: What relaxes you? *nervously looks around* why do you ask? Do you think I need to relax? Is that what you are saying? I'm high strung? who the hell do you think you are? I'm not high strung... Just back off man... *nervously looks around again... chugs last of coffee...*
I do now.

Damn this is funny... I swiped this off someone elses blog.. who had swiped it off someone elses blog... who had... eh, never mind.. just read this...
Shoe Size VS... eh.. er...
Whew... that study was probably done by men... because men are completly obsessive about measurements. I don't think a woman has ever asked for a guy's measurements when getting a discription of him, but I know of plenty of men who have asked for a woman's. And DAMN... men are so proud of their little friend, I think they belive that everyone wants to know how BIG and HUGE it is.... even if big-ness is only in the eye... er... hand... of the.. um... beholder... *snicker*... should I even be talking about this? HAHAHAHAHA!
Besides... I knew it was a myth... have for a LONG time. ;o) Shhhh... let's just keep this between ourselves... I don't think the men folk can handle the truth just yet.

Whew.... busy day. I love my car. My Car. MY Car. MY CAR! I LOVE MY CAR!!! HAHAHAHA!
OK, before I start on today, let me cover yesterday and the day before.... OK, so Tuesday I ask DH if I can can have his left over steak for lunch, and he says sure. So that's what I had for lunch. About 9:30 pm I start having a really acidy stomach despite taking something for it. By 10 pm I'm feeling a bit sick. I realize that hubby did infact have food poisoning Sunday night/Monday morning. *sigh* now I have it... About 1 am I start hurling... all night long I do that. The next morning... I have to get up... Wednesday we had an appointment we could NOT miss. So... I pack a bunch of plastic bags... have hubby put the dry toast I asked him to make me (but the smell was turning my stomach so I didn't eat) in a zip lock, grab a BIG glass of water, the bottle of pepto and we were off. I wait for him outside his work for about an hour... eat a few bites of toast, a few gulps of pepto... total misery... So out he comes, we head off... the sickness hits... uggh... no details but hubby had to make a detour to the Target to pick me up some clothes. Ya know.. changing in the car is no fun... especially when your stomach is turning. So we go off to the appointment (hope to hell they were impressed that I made it even though I felt like crap!), hubby drives me home, gives me medicine to calm my stomach and make me sleep. Wednesday was also the day the apartments were planning inspections for our building... and I have two refugee cats... So... we had put the cats in the carrier before we left and they went with us on our adventure, hubby put them in my closet when he brought me home. Later that night I was feeling well enough to eat a small bowl of KMac. (comfort food...) I still had to take more medicine before bed... anytime I have anything that makes me throw up, it takes a while for my stomach to calm.. it's because I have GERDS (reflux disease)... I don't know why it makes it worse.. but I was told that. So off to bed... Hubby tells me that he'll get me up at 6:30 am.
Thursday - this is my day to pick up MY CAR! So I'm feeling better, groggy, but better. Luckily I had set my alarm for 6:30 am, because guess who's husband didn't wake me? Yeah mine. So I get up, take a shower, get out, turn on the computer... look for breakfast... all of the sudden it hits me that I have to be on the bus at 8 am, and leaving at 7am to go all the way downtown in rush hour traffic was a dream and an impossibility. So I run to the bathroom and pound on the door, tell hubby that it's almost 7 and we have to get going! He says ok. He's dressed in record time, we stash the cats in my closet - still not sure if they inspected the apartment or not... and we rush out the door. 7:10 am. Damn... We get to the bus station at 8:10 am. Damn it. I get another ticket - the next bus leaves at 1:15 pm! DAMN! that's not until AFTER I would get there! (I would have gotten there at 11:45 am) I'm furious with hubby. I tell him to leave.... (not nicely either) and I wait at the bus station (which is not as bad as it sounds - I sat knitting a baby blanket most of the time - went for a walk and had lunch... forgot where my favorite place was, so didn't have the 'Perfect' lunch though...). funny thing was, I read a horoscope that morning that had said that I would deal with crazy people - and I ended up at the BUS STATION that day HAHAHAHA! No crazies until we lined up for the bus, one obnoxious guy who kept making comments about EVERYTHING and every so often he'd put his headphones on and sing along to his radio... sheesh.. I made sure he got on the bus ahead of me so I would not sit anywhere near him. The trip was completly uneventful, I knitted the whole way. I got there, and my grandmother was waiting, hubby had NOT gotten ahold of her before she left the house, so she had been waiting for the FIRST bus for me, and she was paniced that I had gotten off at the wrong place, and had called everyone looking for me... *sigh* when my husband finally did get ahold of her, she reemed his ass. lol... so I didn't have to when I got home. She and I went back to her place, got the car and a few things.. had dinner really quick and I was off - it was 7 pm by then. She filled up the car for me and I drove all the way back. The car is a dream. The gas mileage is AWESOME! I drove over 200 miles (without stopping) and used just over half a tank of gas! I finally put a little gas in the car today... it was up to 275 miles... and I was a little paranoid about that... maybe the gas gage is wrong... seems fine so far though. I do need to get the freon replaced in the air conditioner.. and the horn needs to be fixed, but it runs great. I got home at 11:30 pm.
My grandmother was worried about me driving at night - I was fine though - it's a straight shot from here to there... she wanted me to stay the night but I had to work today. And it's a good thing I didn't give in - I had totally forgotten I had to cover an extra hospital this morning! Good thing Tammy called to remind me last night. Tomorrow I have to make sure EVERYONE at my busy hospital is done - even people going home on Sunday... Why... we have a baptism to go to on Sunday ... and my manager is not sure anyone will be there to cover the hospital. *sigh* I'll do what I can. Oh and that move to the other hospital on the weekends isn't going to happen just yet... apparently the person she was going to get to take one of my hospitals didn't work out.. Oh well... Must make dinner now...

Damn... what a day.... fuck... what a couple of days... *sigh* I'm glad they are over now... I'll have to write about them later... on the up side - I have my CAR!!!! and it has FABULOUS gas mileage! YAY! (and a CD player with a kick ass sound system! Gotta love grandmother's who are starting to have hearing difficulties!)
I'll write sometime tomorrow about the past couple of days - they entail - food poisoning, buying new clothes, plastic bags, the bus station, crazy people, knitting, cats and getting my new car! Bet you can't wait to hear it all! HAHAHAHAHAHA!

Ah... something interesting to talk about....
Last night we rented a couple of movies - that's the routine - a couple of movies a week. Gosford Park and The First Wives Club. We watched Gosford Park. That was a very strange movie... but it was very very good. It had a huge cast and was sometimes hard to keep up with who was doing what to whom! It was set in the early 30's, a bunch of rich snobby people having a weekend shooting trip, they all converge on one residence with their maids and valets. The movie switches from what goes on under the stairs (with the service people) and what goes on above the stairs (the rich snobs). The movie is about 2 hours and 15 mins long, and it's a murder mystery, but no one get's murdered untill about an hour and 16 mins into the movie! Well no one physically get's murdered... a few reputations and social positions are given their RIP's. The cast is just fabulous and so well developed. All of the rich people are for the most part unredeemable human beings, stabbing one another in the back, slandering each other, sleeping with people they are not married to... being generally obnoxious people but charmingly rich lol. The service people are not that far removed, but they do have a bit more virtue than those they serve. No one is surprised at who get's murdered and no one is sorry this deplorable human is dead - well one person is sad - that is the man's valet. He is truly saddened to see this man he has served for so many years dead. Then the movie get's interesting... very interesting. I could actually tell you the rest of the movie - give away who killed this man, and still not tell you everything about this movie or even enough to make this very unsual movie any less enjoyable. The cast reads like a who's-who in British acting circles. There are several people with very impressive acting resumes - most notably is the older woman who plays the Aunt and an insufferable snob - but an interesting character - anyway - this actress has 50 years of acting and has won so many awards and recognition - I kept recognizing her from some other movie, but I could not put my finger on it - after a little research on the internet we (hubby and I) realized it was from HOOK - she played Granny Wendy. She was great in this movie, actually EVERYONE was just fabulous in this movie! I was hesitant at first, even threatened hubby for getting it- told him it better be good since it was a $3.50 rental! HAHAHAHAHA! Anyway - Gosford Park - Highly recommended! Rent it!

Well I'm pretty damn'd excited. My uncle is giving me a car. It's an old car, but it's a car and since I do not have a car (hubby and I share one car) I am appreciative of any car that runs. I look forward to not having to drop my husband off before I head off to work, and even more not having to wait in the parking lot for him to get off work after I do as I can not justify the extra gas it takes to drive all the way home and come back down to get him at the end of his work day... or usually, I there's no physical way to make it home and back to his work in a timely manner. So Thursday I hope a Greyhound for a 3 hour 45 min trip to pick up my car. My grandmother will meet me at the bus stop and we'll have lunch, chat a while - then I'm headed back home - one car richer. :o) I know it's silly, but I'm extremely excited. And I don't even mind the bus trip, I have this baby blanket I need to get finished - the baby I'm making it for is getting baptised this weekend and I really want to give it to them as a baptism present.
So, I've been cleaning house most of the day... not that my house was dirty, just getting a little cluttered. And it's laundry day. I did 3 loads of laundry, got everything folded and hung up, changed the sheets on my bed, cleaned my bathroom, vacuumed the livingroom and the bedroom and swept the floor in the kitchen. Part of the reason for making sure it's nice and clean is that our apartments is going to be inspecting people's apartments tomorrow. Checking for any kind of maintenance problem. So... we are going to be hiding the cats tomorrow since they are little fugitives. *sheesh* the trouble I go through for them.... even after they puke on the floor this morning. Cats.... So anyway... back to cleaning... I was vacuuming and my vacuum cleaner started giving off this smell... kind of like burning rubber or something... I just shut it off - I was done vacuuming at that point (small livingrooms can be a blessing). But I sure as hell hope it doesn't break on me! This would be the 2nd vacuum to break on me. Not that this one was very expensive - $50 at WalMart... seems that bagless is the way of the future, so all the bagged kind are going down in price. yeah I'd love a bagless, but they are expensive.... well just out of my price range. *sigh* what a boreing life I lead...here I am talking about vacuum cleaners... next thing you know I'll be discussing the best way to dust...

A - Thanks for the compliments on the corndogs! I think I should have won also! hehehehe... I should have forced you to join hubby and I at the corn dog festival. ...and I'll send you an e-mail with the vilification information (I just made that up!). That's why I love you! You always have my back. HAHAHAHA!
L - thanks for the link on the American Taliban and how him being a homo lead him to join the Taliban. Now it all makes sense... The Taliban find the sight of a naked woman repulsive.... they are GAY! HAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!

Well the weekend is over. Whew! What a weekend. I worked - and had an upset stomach - ick... We had mexican food Friday night and I had too many jalepenos and to much hot sauce... uggh... so I had horrible reflux. ANYWAY - Saturday night hubby and I went to the Corndog Festival. So we worked on finishing our entries when I got home for work. Here's a picture of my favorite entry by me:
Hubby and I did this one (he's such the Star Trek Geek!):
Titled: A sceen from Corn Trek - He's Dead Jim!
We didn't win for our entries - Whaaaaa! But we did have fun, and that's all that matters. ;o)
Well I've decided two things over the weekend, both are the result of a debate I had with someone I had regarded as a friend... but now... I wonder if I was assumeing too much from that relationship. I'll tell the situation first without getting to much into the actual debate... because that's actually not an issue..I really don't care if people disagree with me, as long as you do it in an intellegent, informed and respectful way. I wasn't completly convinced this person was argueing her standing on an informed level.. actually that I am sure of, she was argueing it purely on an emotionally charged level... which often clouds one's judgement. But... since I like that person, I was going to just drop it since she could not separate her emotions from the issue. And... this person has a problem with people who disagree with her... she's admitted it.. so I thought it best to drop it. OK - I'm going to break in here and state one of the things I decided this weekend - 1) Not to discuss politically charged issues or any kind of controversial issue with anyone unless I am absolutly sure they are informed, intellegent and can be respectful. Saturday after work, I was checking people's blog's and went to a person's blog - this is a friend of the other person I had a debate with. This particular person I do not have a high opinion of... She's brash, pushy, judgemental, egotistical, arrogant and thinks she knows about everything despite her lack of information... and she NEVER let's that keep her from making her opinion known. So she often comes off as a complete idiot. Ahhh yes, she is depriving a village somewhere of an idiot. The only reason I was reading her blog was because no one else had written anything recently! Anyway - I will break in here to state the other thing I decided - 2) To never read anyone's blog unless a) we are good friends or b) I have no freaking clue who you are, so anything you say will have absolutly nothing to do with me. The VI (v stands for village... I'm sure you can figure what the I stands for), had blogged about the subject matter that the other person and I had debated about, EXACTLY what we had discussed... and she basically called me an idiot... nothing that really makes a shit to me considering the source... but... the fact that my friend had such a problem with my stand on this issue and felt the necessity to dis me on this instead of talking to me, that really hurt me. I know I would never do this... no matter how much I felt this person was wrong or being stupid. Friends don't dis each other like that. But... as I said before, I obviously had assumed to much out of this relationship.
OH, I do have to comment on some of the rediculous rhetoric that VI was throwing around... She made some comment on how a crack addict mother can have a baby then go home and neglect it then the baby ends up dead as justification for more government involvement in our lives. Well.. I don't know what it's like in the country she comes from, but that's NOT how it works here. I do work at a hospital, in the maternity area... I only work part time but I have seen what happens with drug babies. They DON'T go home with their parents. When a mother or baby test possitive for drugs in the hospital, that baby is immediatly taken from the mother. The baby does not leave the nursery until protective services shows up to place that child in foster care. The parents are not allowed to be with that child unless they are supervised... and some are not even allowed to see the baby at all. An investigation takes place, the mother has to go through parenting classes, a rehab program and anything else protective services deems necessary... then and only then do they consider letting the child go to the parents. This I have seen first hand. In the past year I have seen 4 drug baby situations in the hospitals I work at. One at my smallest hospital, two at the nicest hospital and the other at the largest hospital I work. The nurses gave me all this information as there are different rules at each hospital - once I was told that I was not to talk to the mother at all because the situation, another I was told I could go talk to the parents to get the information but that the baby had to stay in the nursery... the other two, the mother's had already left the hospital. So anyway... VI's arguement is stupid at best, completly uninformed though... but if that situation she mentioned happens in her country, then it's no wonder she's living here in the US.
Anyway... I'll go on about this more in a more private forum... but not here... I don't want to muck up this page with such negativity... Got to remember the two things - 1) Not to discuss politically charged issues or any kind of controversial issue with anyone unless I am absolutly sure they are informed, intellegent and can be respectful. and 2) To never read anyone's blog unless a) we are good friends or b) I have no freaking clue who you are, so anything you say will have absolutly nothing to do with me.
On to other things... My poor husband... he's not feeling well. He was sick most of yesterday, some intestinal thing. Then in the wee hours of the morning he started throwing up. Poor guy. He's home today, so I'm taking care of him. got him on the BRAT diet - Banannas, Rice, Apple sauce and Toast - at least that's what I think it is... if I'm wrong, please let me know.... I'd hate to make him feel worse. He's so funny though, he has been trying to convince me (and himself) that it's food poisoning... even though we have both eaten the same thing this weekend and I didn't get pukey or anthing. He's also got a fever... He's sleeping on the sofa right now.. looks like a little boy... a little 6'3" 248 lb boy with a full beard... OK, not like a little boy.. but he looks peaceful...
Better run.
