How Do You Like Me Now???

Well I went ahead and changed my template. Just the colors. I could not find a blog template that was what I wanted though, to be honest I didn't really do all that much search, I don't have all that much time to search for flame motif blog skins. Yes I had wanted a nice flame motif, kind of fits my state of being right now. There are times I feel as though I've been tossed into the flames and there are other times I feel like setting something (someone really) on fire and I start pondering collecting money for gas. ;o)

I have removed most of the photos of myself as thoes were taken in February 2004 on the outting that I met Michael. They were my favorite pictures, it was a really great evening - I may post the pictures one last time as a last hurrah so to speak before I retire them for good. I suppose it's time for new photos on here anyway, I've lost 30 lbs since then and I think I look pretty damn good now. Besides I need some new hot photos of me so I can find myself a hot mansicle. HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAAA!!!! Gawd I kill myself sometimes, the last thing I need right now is another man in my life. I gotta get over the whole Michael/Loa thing first. I will, it will happen, just wish it would already happen, I'm very tired of vacillating between being so hurt I can actually feel the pain so I must cry, being so angry I contemplate dousing him in gassoline and setting him on fire, feeling stupid for having trusted him for 13 months and believed it was something special and just being sad. Head games, I don't know why anyone would want to play them with me, I don't play them with people and I'm a much more reasonable person than most people seem to give me credit for, so no head games please.

And a note to all men from my past I was involved with, now is not the time to start coming out of the cracks like cockroaches when the lights go off. I appreciate all the offers and the affirmations of how 'hot' you still think I am are indeed flattering and do make me smile, but dudes, you are men from my past for a reason and I did choose him over you. Give me some time boys, come back in a month or so and tell me again how hot you are for me and how incredible the sex was - it won't get you any further with me than it does now but it will make me smile and hell who doesn't like an ego boost (and hell I sure need that, nothing like being dumped for someone else to squash the old self esteem).

Okay I guess I'm done for now. I need to go for a walk or something. I had just intended this as a notice of the change to the blog and to ask for feed back on that, but it appears my Internet Therapy was early today (feel free to comment on that as well).
Sucking It Down!

If there was every any doubt that I suck, well here's photographic proof.

Hello My Name Is:

Petey just isn't right in the head sometimes, but that makes him interesting and fun to be with. He made place cards for everyone at karaoke - most everyone wore their signs around. This is mine. With my current sadly single status, it's perfect. (although I've always been a huge fan of BOB even when I did have a man in my life)

Fashion Victim

She dressed herself. Poor Super Girl, she's got her daddy's fashion sense.
$.82 And A Piece Of Macaroni

That's what I've collected in the laundry so far. No worries I still have a freaking mountain to wash.

Speaking of wash, why can't it just fold itself! I hate folding laundry. grrr... oh well, haven't trained the cats to do it yet and the kids aren't much better.
Only A Kid Could Say It And Not Be Commited

Cabbage Patch was playing with her sister laying on the floor pretending to be dead. She sat up and looked at me and said "I'm all dead." with a big smile. I said "No you're not." to which she replied "Yes I are!" Then headed to my bedroom to snag a pair of my high heels to play in.
My Vast Fortune

My vast fortune was expanded today while putting clothing in the dryer. At the bottom of the washing machine I found several valuable coins ($.80 to be exact)! I was like finding a pirates treasure! Being a smart woman I decided a fortune like that needed to be stashed away quickly before caught wind of my vast fortune and decided to make it their vast fortune. I quickly hid my fortune with the rest of my fortune. (that would be under the sofa cushins and at the bottom of my purse)

Well I'm off in search of more treasure! (off to do more laundry that is, I'm sure there will be more coinage in the washer and dryer by the end of the day)

Mexican Food And Compliments
That's How To Make Me Feel Better (some days)

Today started out pretty crappy really - breaking up is hard to do (why do I suddenly have that stupid Neil Sedaka song running through my head???). I'll be working through my post break up emotions and all on this blog. Why would I choose the internet to do this? well a few reasons - 1) It's anonymous - hardly any of my friends read the bull shit I write on here, none of Michael's friends read this site, 2) I don't have to worry about crying in front of anyone since I'm in the privacy of my own home. I rarely ever cry in front of people, I was raised like that - right or wrong, it's just who I am, I didn't even cry at my mother's funeral (nor did my sister), outward signs of emotion other than anger or insincere happiness were not accepted in my family. Yeah, I know, fucked up. 3) I’m a broke dick, I can't afford counseling, antidepressants or enough alcohol to help. So, it's Internet Therapy! Woohoo! Now with that said, I want people to know I'm not going to be bad mouthing my ex. I don't do that, I never have... well except for my psycho boyfriend, and I don't mean the one that really was psycho and was medication (hey I felt bad for him and let him think that we were dating after the first date, that’s where I learned that pity dating is not only stupid it's bad for the person being pitied - eventually they find out and hate you for it... and that makes you an ass for doing it.) I mean the one who I broke up with and he called me a whore, then three weeks later he called to see if we could hook back up and all I could say was 'you called me a whore.' HE was a dumbass. But I digress, disclaimer is done, I'm ready for my 45 minutes Dr. Internet!

So last night I couldn't eat and this morning after my painfully brief amount of sleep all I could manage was coffee - which I spilled on the keyboard, fucking up my left caps lock key, making me have to resort to shifting with my right and that's fucking with my brain after 11 years of being a secretary. After the orthodontist appointment I decided to take the Little People to meet K for lunch even though I had no appetite. Though K had mentioned an Italian place this morning we ventured out to a Mexican place instead. I decided to get the special though I wasn't hungry - a little shaky though - I figured if nothing else K would have a nice lunch for tomorrow. Then something bizarre happened. The chips and hot sauce were put on the table, now I don't usually eat corn chips and hot sauce, don't like it much really. Today I did, I ate one and suddenly I was hungry. My head was swimming and I couldn't focus on anything K was saying to me, not even about the tasty looking mansicle sitting not far from us. My whole purpose was in eating the different colors of corn chips and all of the hot sauce. A similar thing happened when my cheese enchiladas arrived. I believe that I may have been licking my plate clean at the end, not sure though - I was in full food-gasm. And then I realized that 'fuck! I'm so freaking full!' and I was feeling okay, not great but okay. Now I do realize that I can not have Mexican food every day to medicate myself - my ass is large enough (but it's getting smaller!!!), but DAMN it was GOOD today. And then I noticed the tasty mansicle.

Later, after a brief but much needed nap (where in the Tiny Terrorists had to have their very lives threatened to lay the fuck down and take their naps - which they did not do, but did however remain quiet long enough for ME to nap so I didn't become a zombie). Shortly before we left to fetch K from the work place I was messaging a friend at work, she had to work late. As we were messaging I noticed an ex-boyfriend come on line. Next thing you know we were messaging. Now we haven't been out in over 3 years. He's very nice, but boring as all get out. He however has always been crazy about me. Our first date he BEGGED me for. He thought (and still thinks) I was so hot - he's insane I tell you. I think that's the only reason I went out with him - the flattery is very nice, now don't get me wrong - he's not an unattractive looking guy, he's very cute, I'm just not all that into him. A lot of dead space in the conversation. ummm.. Yeah... But we stayed friends and would talk from time to time, when he was in Dallas he'd unsuccessfully beg me to see him. But I digress again! He asks how I am, I say okay, then he asks about the boyfriend and I tell him that there is no boyfriend anymore. And then I almost fell out of my chair laughing at what he said next - GOOD. So I message my friend with what he said and type that he must be positioning himself to make a move. As I hit the send button he says something about how he might find himself in the DFW area for a day or two and would love to see me. HAHAHAHAHAHA! Now mind you, I have NO intentions of seeing this guy again - not even if he was buying the extra-Grande Starbucks Frappuchino with extra whipped cream - but it did feel good to know that SOMEONE STILL wants me. Getting dumped for someone else has a way of leaving ones self esteem feeling bruised and crushed. Attention feels good. Almost makes me want to pose for some internet porn - I hear I can earn almost $90 a month doing that. ;o)

And now, just because I mentioned that idiotic song... I know you are all thinking of it... here are the lyrics:

Doo doo doo down doo be do down down
come on come on
down doo be do down down
breaking up is hard to do.

Don't take your love away from me

don't you leave my heart in misery.
If you go then I'll be blue
'cause breaking up is hard to do.

Remember you don't say goodbye.
Can't we give our love another try.
Come on babe let's start a new
'cause breaking up is hard to do.

They say that breaking up is hard to do.
Now I know I know that it's true
don't say that this is the end.
Instead of breaking up
I wish that we are making up again.

I beg of love away from me

don't you leave my heart in misery.
If you go then I'll be blue
'cause breaking up is hard to do.

Down doo be do down down, that's what I'm talking about, yeah!

This was the sky today. Yesterday it was so sunny and beautiful, today it's gray and windy. March in North Texas is always fun!
The Mail Key Incident

>>

Yesterday I walked to the mail box to get my mail and when I went to relock my box and remove my key, my intentions were thwarted by a stuborn lock that would not lock and hence was holding my keys ransom. A few moments of furiously working the lock while yelling at the Tiny Terorists to stop running amuck yielded nothing but sore fingers for me. As it was 5 pm and the office was still open and just a stones throw from the mail boxes I went to the office and reported my trouble. Below is the EXACT* conversation I had with management:

Surly Assistant Manager: Yes? Can I help you?
Me: Yeah, my mail box key is stuck in the lock.
Surly Assistant Manager: What? Stuck in the lock?
Me: Yeah, I can't get it out.
Surly Assistant Manager:Well the maintenance people are gone. They won't be back until 7:30 AM tomorrow.
Me: So what are you going to do?
Surly Assistant Manager:Do you want me to call someone? I mean they won't get here until at least 7pm so you might as well wait. (i.e. it's too close to going home time for me to give a fuck about your tiny little problem, so go away)
Me: You can't do anything?
Surly Assistant Manager:Well I could call them, but if you can't get your key out, then no one else will be able to and they can replace the lock first thing in the morning. (meaning, stop bugging me about your little problem, I am not going to help you)
Me: You can't do anything? Don't you even have a can of WD40?
Surly Assistant Manager:(looking at me like I'm insane)We don't even have a key to that room so we can't do anything.(so go away so I can get back to gossiping and counting down the minutes until I leave)
Me: (getting pissed) So you aren't going to do anything?
Surly Assistant Manager:Well I could call someone (but I don't want to). Do you just want to wait until tomorrow.(Go away before my coffe get's cold)
Me: Well I guess i really don't have a choice now do I.
and I started to walk out.
Surly Assistant Manager: We could call someone if you want. (said as i walk out the door)

I go to the mail box, get my house keys off the ring and dash back to my town house where I (truly the Queen of The Lube) grab my trusty can of lube (it's for my sewing machine you perv!), headed back to the mail box. A few squirts later and my box was locked and my key free. I'm a fucking genius.

* Well not EXACTLY, but that's how I'm going to tell it anyway 'cuz it's my blog.
Changes

Bear with me, i'm trying to change the look of the blog. i can't seem to find a skin i like and i'm really horrible at html.

i'm removing some of the photos at the side and will be dumping some of the links i no longer visit.

if the sight looks ghastly for a bit, please excuse as the site and i will be going through some changes.
What Morning
or
I Really Do Have A Karmically Challenged Life

Where to start.... let's see... I'm still quite heartbroken and hurt over my breakup with Michael. Very hurt, I hate to be lied to... especially when there was nothing to lose. So I didn't sleep well - went to bed at 1:30 am or so. I wanted to make sure I was dead tired so I'd sleep and I did. Then I woke at 5:30 am and couldn't go back to sleep. I took a shower at 6 am and made coffee. While the Little People were getting dressed, I knocked my coffee cup over and spilled coffee on my keyboard. it works but my capitalization is intermitant at best. i keep having to hit the Caps lock key to bet it to consistantly capitalize but that's just getting to be bothersome. Anyway, we made it out of the house on time, k off to work on time, me and the little people headed toward my orhtodontist. Woohoo! what fun. it took us an hour to get there with traffic and a stop to fill the tank - cost $20!!! for my tiny little car! The orto is great, i get a new retainer next week, then in a week a different one. one for day and one for night - what fun.

We just got back and will probably leave in a few minutes to go have lunch with k. i'm not very hungry. i just don't have an appetite. Woohoo, should be great since i'm trying to lose more weight. heatbreak makes me not eat, stress makes me eat everything.

not sure i'll be all that witty and entertaining right now. i'm just not sure it's in me. Well maybe in a sarcastic biting way, but i think i'll spare everyone that.

This was funny... in the orthodontist office they gave the little people some toys, one was a squishy easter egg and the other was a kooshie bunny. At one point Cabbage patch was playing with the bunny acting like he was standing on the slats of the blinds, then he would fall down hitting each one as he said 'ow! ow! ow!' in a squeaky little voice. All of the hygenist and the ortho were watching her laughing - was amused and embarassed at the same time. kids.

When we got to the doctors office Super Girl says 'whew, i'm glad this isn't the other doctor office.' i didn't understand her until she said something about getting me getting a shot. i said 'oh no honey, this isn't where mommy get's birth control.'

Anyway, i'll go now.

Two Good Looking Toms In My Neighborhood

One is the adorable and friendly kitty that the Little People were so excited to pet, the other is the adorable and friendly Mansicle who happens to be my neighbor. I'll refrain from making comments about him and petty kitties. ;o) He's quite nice to look at though.
Nap Time For Everyone!

My Ben & Jerry's Boycot!

So last night after a delightful dinner of Mexican food, K and I were talking about Starbucks and I had the overwhelming urge to HAVE a Frappuchino (I don't like their coffee, just the frappuchinos). I was preparing to make a u-turn and head back to the Starbucks I knew of when K informed me that there was a NEW Starbucks at the NEW shopping center and I didn't have to make a u-turn. I was all giddy with the word NEW, NEW, NEW and Starbucks that I happily went.

As I pulled into the shopping center and headed for the Starbucks with images of a tall Frappuchino with whipped cream on top dancing through my head, K made an excited noise. I looked to where he was motioning and saw... a brand-spaking-new Ben & Jerry's Ice Cream Store. All thoughts of frappuchino went out the window (well most) as I guided the car to a parking spot in front of Ben & Jerry's. The store was inviting and brightly lit with a big cow mural on one wall - how could I resist. The Little People were nearly convulsing with excitement as we entered the store and chose what flavors. Everyone got a small container of ice cream. Now small is VERY small, think dixie cup size. I figured something that small couldn't cost more than a buck. I nearly choked on my coin purse at the register when the happy manager person cheerfully said $11.91. WHAT????? $12???? WTF??? Turns out the tiny dixie cup size cost $2.75!!! Fuck! Of course I had no alternative but to pay as my progeny had already scampered off with their overpriced prize and were happily consumeing it. For $2.75 I could have bought a pint of ice cream at the store! DAMN!

I was disenchanted with the ice cream shop at this point. Grumpy at the price. I didn't enjoy my pricy ice cream, I was still gaging from the PRICE.

So now I boycot Ben & Jerrys and their high priced ice cream! (actually I just won't go there anymore, might still buy it at the grocery store) And I feel cheated, I didn't get my frappuchino! (which would have cost me considerably less!)
Coocoons In A Tree

I wish I knew that the hell these are, they kind of creep me out since they are in so many trees. At first I was thinking pretty butterflies or maybe interesting moths, but as time goes on I start thinking strange carniverous alien insects that will eat us in a most painful way and take over the world. (Yes I know, I have an active imagination) So if anyone has any information on what these may turn out to be, I'd appreciate it as I'm sure it's couldn't be worse thn what I've imagined.
Spring Break With The Tiny Terrorist

So it's spring break this week, i.e. see-how-quick-you-can-drive-mom-nuts break for the Little People.

Despite the intermitant rain here I decided to take the Little People to the lake to feed the ducks and take some SPRING photos. That was a plan not to become reality. After an escape by one terrorist, the other not telling me for nearly 10 minutes (I thought she was upstairs!!!), I decided that we'd just go to the store for bread instead. For some damn reason it took us an HOUR to get out the freaking door.

Before Going To the Store
>

As a rule I don't post close up photos of my offspring, so you'll have to deal with close up pics of ME instead. What do you think? I think my face is looking less FAT!

And finally me again.

I have two more photos I can't get to upload. One is a tree with a bunch of cocoons in it, and the other is a close up of the cocoons. They look creepy!

Stability results were moderately low which suggests you are worrying, insecure, emotional, and anxious.

Orderliness results were medium which suggests you are moderately organized, hard working, and reliable while still remaining flexible, efficient, and fun.

Extraversion results were high which suggests you are overly talkative, outgoing, sociable and interacting at the expense too often of developing your own individual interests and internally based identity.

Something To Ponder

Better to be hated for what you are than to be loved for what you are not.
Andre Gide
Weird News

This guy is taking the phrase 'dog lover' a little to far. My comment... ewwwww...

Mover Virgin Mary Samich, Satan Turtle is here! I just wish there were photos of the turtle (I want him.) Wait... found one... don't see it though.
Saturday

Things that should have happened today:
Me being able to sleep in until at least 7:30 am
Have a nice leisurely breakfast
Had the Little People help clean
Enjoy a nice walk around the lake before heading back to my nicely cleaned home
Get ready for my friends to come over and play games

What really happened:
I was rudely awakend by Chaos of Chaos & Destruction at the ungodly hour of 6:30 am. Now mind you that I normally get up at 6:30 am, every freaking day. That's when my alarm is set to go off. Since I have no babysitter and K is at some gay fetish convention I am unable to go to work. I fully intended to sleep well past when my alarm usually wakes me. The Little People usually get up somewhere between 7 and 8 am on the weekends, so I see them briefly before I head off to work. Today, no such luck. I told Chaos to get into bed with me that it was WAY to early to be up and I WASN'T making waffles at this godforsaken time, now go back to sleep. She did get into bed with me and every time I drifted off to sleep she started fidgeting so I'd wake and tell her to stop it. Not that it mattered by 7 am Destruction had burst through my door announcing that she 'had a bad dream' (she does this all the time, it means nothing unless it's in the middle of the night when she's standing outside my door sobbing). With a great sigh I hauled myself out of bed and told the Tiny Terrorist to go into the living room. In the short span it took me to relieve my full bladder the Tiny Terrorist have gotten the syrup and have opened it - luckily there has been no mess made yet. This amuses me not at all and I yell at the evil offspring of mine to GET OUT OF THE KITCHEN! A flury of excuses and blame is flung in my direction as I glare menacingly at the Tiny Terrorists and repeat my demands again through clenched teeth. I put the syrup away and sit at the computer to read the news and cool the fuck off (see just last night the Tiny Terrorist got into trouble for getting into the kitchen to sneak the eclaires instead of waiting for me to serve them for desert). Hostage negotiations started at that point, with much whineing and crying (hey, can you blame me? I hadn't even had coffee yet!). A time out was issued and a threat of not having waffles but instead cold cereal was issued. I eventually came to the conclusion that I wanted my BIG breakfast of waffles, eggs and sausage so we would have it. Somehow we made it through breafast preparation with very little disruption.

Now is the time to try to cajole them into cleaning... And let me tell you it's working so fucking well (sarcasm), I totally enjoy telling them to pick up the same thing 15 to 20 times before it actually moves from it's spot. I have NEVER WANTED TO GO TO WORK AS MUCH AS I DO TODAY!!! Why, oh why did I not put valium in their waffles?????

Just an odd thing that occured to me... people often tell me that I speak too softly and I'm often asked to repeat myself. Except when I'm speaking to my children, my darling progeny don't respond to anything other than LOUD... well honestly THEY are so loud it's the ONLY way they hear me.

(now all you perfect parents of perfect children *eyes rolling up in head* who never yell at your kids, don't leave me comments on what I should do and how I should NOT yell at my kids, fuck you, my kids are probably much better behaved than your demonic offspring, at least I admit my kids aren't perfect.)

Just go look. It's funny.

Exciting Times!

Have I ever mentioned how very much I enjoy cleaning toilets and scrubbing bath tubs? I haven't? Well that's because I'd be lieing! Sheesh! I don't know anyone who LOVES doing it but we all HAVE to do it. This is something I NEED for K to understand. The BATHROOM HAS TO BE CLEANED REGULARLY!

Tonight I spent 20 minutes cleaning HIS bathroom. I cleaned the toilet (ick! ick! ick!) I cleaned the sink (got all the crusty toothpaste stuff off). And I scrubbed his filthy bath tub! Dear gawd! I did! it was awful. One would think that with him being GAY that he would be much much cleaner, but he's not. This alone may have been what convinced me that he HAD to be straight! A bathroom that scary could have only belonged to a straight single man! (well the fact that he surely wasn't a snappy dresser and wasn't all that with the witty comments did plenty to convince me of his heterosexuality well before I witnessed the abomination that was his bathroom.)

I often threaten to report to the Board Of Homosexual/Lesbian/Bi Conduct that he acts too straight in some areas, I figure they would yank his GAY card and he'd be either sent to a re-education camp run by the Fab 5 and full of track lighting and tendy Pier One furniture where they'd train him in grooming, cleaning, dressing and cooking so that he wouldn't be an embarassment to the community and ruin all the stero-types (hey! I'm only talking about the GOOD ONES! Like gay men dress hot, have clean and nicely decorated homes and are charming, witty conversationalists. I can say these things, I have been married to a GAY man for nearly 11 years ya know!).

I'm wondering if they have some kind of Intervention program.

K, your bathroom is CLEAN! Keep it like that!
Things That Make You Go Hmmmmmm....

This article on a study that abstinence and teens who pledge to stay virgins until marriage are just as likely to have STDS. Hmmm.. sounds like that abstinence program endorsed by the current adminstration isn't quite working as they had hoped. Maybe if these kids were getting information on safe sex, not just abstinence they could/would make better and more informed decisions? Maybe? I know I'm such a rebel.

(my younger step sister signed such a pledge and ended up pregnant within a few months of that)

Now this is probably the MOST AMAZING NEWS EVER! (sarcasm alert) A study has confirmed that drivers with radar detectors speed more!!! I know, you are as surprised as I am. *eyes rolling up in head* What the fuck? Someone paid for a study to prove that people with electronic devices that detect police radar (ie radar that detects if you are speeding), speed - as in they buy the radar detectors so they CAN speed and not get caught and this is NEWS??? I want to find the person who paid for that study and get them to pay me to do a study to prove that people with cars tend to drive them.
Post St. Patty's Party

I always know it's gonna be a good party when it starts with some guy having my panties on his head! He truly did deserve "Best Of Show".
One Would Have Thought I Would Have Scored Higher

Than a 70% on the Gaydar Test.

My results:
You personally got 14 of the 20 people correct and were better at recognizing girls than guys. Overall, you guessed better than 58% of all test takers.

Damn I thought I had the advantage what with a gay husband and all!

Happy St. Pat's Day

I remembered that today was St. Patrick's day and thought "Oh let me make sure to dress Super Girl in green!" then I remembered that K was at the hospital visiting with his dad before surgery and Super Girl was in a MOOD (can we say EARLY PMS???) and wanted to dress HERSELF by golly. So my kid is wearing a pink dress with pink hightops. No green. Not even green socks (which I would not be surprised for her to match up kelly green socks with that outfit or even a green one and a blue one, but she did head off with pretty matching light blue - not green - socks). I'm hopeing that she will figure out the lame excuse I used to give by saying "I have green eyes!" to avoid being pinched. I hated that when I was a wee child. Luckily as an adult most people are far to mature to give out pinches to those not clad in green... except maybe in a bar when it would be more fun to get a pinch than not to. ;o)

Gotta do something for the Little People since it's a LOVELY day here. I think we'll go looking for 4 leaf clovers - that should take up about 3 minutes until they are bored and running in circles yelling like wild animals while the veins in my forehead bulge and threaten to burst. Then we'll come back home and make shamrock cookies (green sugar cookie dough) which will probably look more like funky green blobs than shamrocks but the kids will still eat them and that's all that matters. I may let the kids make shamrock cards for grandpa - that is if I don't continue to get that annoying facial tick every time I think of the Tiny Terrorist wish green paper, glue and scissors. I think even the vaccuum cleaner is developing that tick.

Not sure if I'll do anything this evening, I'd like to but I did go out last night (albeit late and for not very long), it depends on how Bill is doing, if K will watch the Little People (and if they are being EEEEEEVIL) and where my friends want to go.

Happy day to everyone.

K's father is back in the hospital, they had to do angioplasty and put in some stents. He's doing fine now, they did angioplasty on two arteries and put stents in those today and tomorrow they go do the others! Woohoo! The doctors say he will do fine, but I still worry.

Some may remember that Bill had a triple bipass last summer. I'm rather surprised that he's having surgery this soon, but I suppose I should as he's not the best at taking the doctors advice about eating right and getting exercise. *sigh* Take this as a tale of caution to the rest of you with health issues - take care of yourself! I don't want to have to worry about you (and I already do)!
Big Ass Project

Last night I took possesion of finishing of Heidi's court gown. She's finished a bit of it, but there is still lots to do. I wish I could get the picture of the binders of patterns to post. Yes I said BINDERS OF PATTERNS. It's rather involved. And I'm EXCITED about it!

People I've commited to finishing garb, etc. for, have no fear you are before the court gown. I'll be working on the court gown around the other projects.

I'm such a dork, I really am excited about this!
Wisdom In The Oddest Places

Last night after my return from karaokee I did as I usually do, and that is to say I read the comics online. To my utter amazement among the chuckles was a gem of wisdom just for me as it would seem.

'That's how it goes... We lose sight of the big picture and get lost in the eddies of our own lives.'

Now, I guess I have to try to see the BIG PICTURE. It's hard, but I'm trying.

Oh and my toilet stopped making that horrid noise as of this mornings flush - which is good, it sounded as if it might just explode. And as we all know, an exploding toilet makes for a good story eventually but can really really ruin ones day.

Sinking Ship

Fuck, I'm depressed. I suppose I'm supposed to feel like this. But I'm tired of it. I want a better job. I want a car. I want to not hurt about losing Michael. I want the pipes in my bathroom to stop making that horrible noise. I want my house totally clean and all my laundry done. I want to sit and paint. I want all my projects finished. I want to feel appreciated and wanted (and not just for making dinner and cleaning up after people). I want a good book to read. I want someone to think I'm irresistably sexy. I want to laugh and smile so much my face hurts and my stomache is sore. I want a new pair of shoes. I want to sleep until noon. I want to see a good movie and eat a great meal. I want to look at art work and snicker with someone when it's ugly. I want to write my name in wet cement. I want to make something so fabulous that I amaze even myself. I want to go back to faire. I want to be independent but not alone... yet maybe alone. I want to sit and not think so much, too much to make me sad. I others to care about me as much as I care about them. I want things to be good.

*sigh*

It's okay. I'm just heartbroken and feeling lonely. I'm depressed about feeling stagnant in life - I was before I became heartbroken. At the moment I'm not able to see over the hole I've dug for myself. I'll climb out of this, but I'm just indulging in my own self pitty right now. I don't usually do this, but I suppose a few minutes of it won't hurt. I'll be fine, my heart will mend and things will be good for me.

I should go now. Karaokee calls.

Damn I Wish Gas Was Cheaper.

Call me and when I inform you that I'm in the shower keep talking! People, the appropriate response to that is "Oh! Hey, I'll call you later." Grrr... now my bathroom floor is wet and I had to rinse in cold water! Ahhhhhh!!!
Smothered With Love

The Little People are so excited Sunshine is home. Cabbage Patch was just squeezing the breath out of the cat in her exuberance to express just how much she missed Sunshine and how very happy she was to have her home. Super Girl raced into my room to see Sunshine when she was told the cat had returned. The squeals and shouts of excitement were really cute.

The cat, well she's a cat so I don't know what she's thinking, but she's staying close to the kids for plenty of pets and snuggles.

Damn you cat for making me worry.

The Return

The prodigal cat has returned. Somewhere between 1:30 am and 2 am. I'm happy she's home.

Desperado
by The Eagles

Desperado, why don't you come to your senses?
You been out ridin' fences for so long now
Oh, you're a hard one
I know that you got your reasons
These things that are pleasin' you
Can hurt you somehow

Don't you draw the queen of diamonds boy
She'll beat you if she's able
You know the queen of hearts is always your best bet

Now it seems to me, some fine things
Have been laid upon your table
But you only want the ones that you can't get

Desperado, oh, you ain't gettin' no younger
Your pain and your hunger, they're drivin' you home
And freedom, oh freedom well, that's just some people talkin'
Your prison is walking through this world all alone

Don't your feet get cold in the winter time?
The sky won't snow and the sun won't shine
It's hard to tell the night time from the day
You're losin' all your highs and lows
Ain't it funny how the feeling goes away?

Desperado, why don't you come to your senses?
Come down from your fences, open the gate
It may be rainin', but there's a rainbow above you
You better let somebody love you, before it's too late

I love that song.
Got Something Stuck In My Head

don't wanna close my eyes
I don't wanna fall asleep
Cause I'd miss you, baby
And I don't wanna miss a thing
Cause even when I dream of you
The sweetest dream will never do
I'd still miss you, baby
And I don't wanna miss a thing

My kitty is still AWOL. I was crying earlier because I miss my cat, but honestly it’s pretty easy to make me cry lately. I don’t like it when I’m like this (which is quite rare). My cat missing isn’t helping.

I’ve been looking up music tonight, I was thinking of a song earlier and could not find it. I think it’s by the Everly Brothers but I’m not sure, I can’t remember the actual name of the song just the words. *sigh* So I’ve been searching other songs, I’m not sure it’s helping my state of mind but it’s keeping me busy. Although I could so be doing at least a hundred different things to keep me busy other than sitting here DLing music and writing in my blog.

Random Shit…

I just read that gas prices are within a penny of being at a record high. Hmmm… and here I sit with a box of matches. Damn. ;o)

Tonight I made a ‘special meal’, I like to call it my ‘I Can’t Believe It’s Not Hamburger Helper!’ meal because that’s what it looks like. The Little People utterly rejected it (as usual). The only difference between this and ACTUAL Hamburger Helper is that I did not serve it on the really expensive red plates.

Is ‘Roxanne’ by The Police really a LOVE song? I mean it’s about a prostitute.

I was totally going to take pictures of myself in my ‘New’ clothes – ya know do a little fashion shoot and make myself feel all happy, but that motivation just didn’t kick in. Damn it, my batteries were all charged and everything.

I think even BOB is tired of me. *sigh*

Why am I so freaking impressed by brown eggs? I inherited a dozen brown eggs from the camping trip and you would have thought that I got a dozen solid gold eggs! I’m such a dork. Now I want to make breakfast… eggs, sausage, biscuits and gravy… but I never make that for myself. *sigh* I boiled half a dozen of the eggs to keep in the fridge.

Wonder if my cat is just fucking with me. She left last year for a week and showed up on Easter morning. Wonder if she’d going to do that again, kind of a “Hey look! I’m like Jesus! Convert you heathen Jew!” Just my luck to own a Christian cat. Probably an evangelical Christian cat. I’m just imagining all the times she sat on my pillow purring while I slept that she was praying for my *gag* salvation, every meow was her witnessing to my non-believing self. Well we do live in the bible belt, it’s possible. Ya know if she DOES show up on Easter I’ll get rid of her, fuck sell her on E-bay. If a half eaten samich with some chick in a head scarf on it can sell, then a Christian cat doing a Jesus impersonation should fetch a good price. Then I’ll get myself a nice Jewish cat, chubby, partial to gefelte fish and matzah balls and would be able to make my kids feel guilty.

You scored as Satanism. Your beliefs most closely resemble those of Satanism! Before you scream, do a bit of research on it. To be a Satanist, you don't actually have to believe in Satan. Satanism generally focuses upon the spiritual advancement of the self, rather than upon submission to a deity or a set of moral codes. Do some research if you immediately think of the satanic cult stereotype. Your beliefs may also resemble those of earth-based religions such as paganism.

Screwy Photos

Below are the three photos of me from Excal, I look like a dork in all of them. For some reason currently not all of the photos are showing up. Fuck if I know why.

Pussy Problems

My cat is still missing and it's starting to upset me now. It's been raining this morning, I thougth for sure with it being cold the addition of rain would bring her home.

Gerbil Shower

One of the fire sprinklers that was just replaced is dripping water. It's right by my gerbil cage. Gerbils relocated for now, just waiting for it to be repaired.

The GOOD News

Last night I thought I would try on some clothes in my closet. This is clothes I haven't fit into in a very very long time. Things I wore back when I worked a corporate job. I was delightfully surprised that many things fit better than 7 years ago! What prompted this action? Well the discovery that my faire garb is actually too big! I just made the red corset and it could be a size smaller. My smallest bodice that last year barely fit me is too big also, I should have had it lace locked because my boobies kept slipping down! Anyway, it was fun to try on all my clothes - the Judy Fashion show! Now I guess I need to find an 8-5 corporate job so I have some reason to wear it all!

And As A Shout Out To All My Rennie Homies!

H*H!
Missing In Action

My kitty has taken off. She left me!! Whaaaaaa! Come home Sunshine!
There's Got To Be A Morning After...

My Excal weekend is over. All in all it was good. I had some really, really great times and I had some very, very bad times. Thankfully for me, I have a wonderful group of friends who care about me a lot and were there for the good and the bad. I didn't realize that so many people cared so much about me.

Camping was the shiznit! I LOVED it! I'm going to have to take the little people now. The bugs weren't bad, it was cold, but I was warm enough and the bed was surprisingly comfee.

Pictures did NOT happen, I forgot to charge my camera batteries so I was fucked. I looked so good too! (despite actually needing smaller corset and bodice - yeah for losing weight, boo for needing new garb)

Gotta go now, Elmo is singing or something and it's much like someone scratching a chalkboard in my brain! MUST MAKE IT STOP!

More to tell later.

Damn Blogger!

I've been trying to post all freaking day!

So here's a big ass post all squished together.

Something to ponder...

In a conversation with a friend about an interview this statement was made "I was getting good vibes about the interview then I realized that I was sitting on my vibrator..."

Cats Are EVIL!

I read this article about a cat shooting it's owner and was glad that I don't own a gun... looking up at my cat who was standing on the counter peering into the gerbil cage contemplating how to get the tasty morsels out. Bad kitty! Bad kitty!

No One Noticed???

I read this article about a man in Japan who's been dead for possibly as long as 10 years and his relatives JUST NOW noticed. One would think that after a few weeks, a month - a YEAR at the longest that someone would say "hmmm... haven't heard from grandpa in a while, maybe he's dead." Somebody's got some 'splaining to do.

EXCAL!!!!

Just under three hours until my adventure begins! Woohoo! Tonight I spend the night at John & Heidi's so we can set out tomorrow morning bright and early for EXCAL! I still need to do my laundry, mail some packages, do some shopping, buy some shoes and pack my shit. Yes, yes, I am panicking, but I'm excited! This will be more than just a new ren faire with my new friends, it will be my first CAMPING adventure. I'm nervous and looking forward to it. I've always WANTED to camp (with people who KNEW how to camp that is, didn't want to go out with out someone experienced). And there will be partying. Yes much partying. I'm so ready for that.

And now, unless I get a few moments before I leave tonight, this will be the last post until MONDAY. (I'll have pictures also!)

Bouncing Off The Walls

I'm so excited about Excal I swear I'm literally bouncing off the freaking walls! I think I may not have any more coffee today... might not be safe. I'm also nervous about camping - I'm wondering if I need to purchase a jumbo can of OFF to keep the buggies away from me (remember my bug phobia). I've taken action to make it possible for me to use the public toilets (ie porta potties) at faire - yesterday at the clinic I grabbed a handful of the antibacterial wipes to take with me (hey they are free right?) and I know I have some small bottles of antibacterial hand wash that will go with me. Heidi was kind enough to RSVP for me for the weenie roast that I'm a non-pig eater so I believe there will be some Kosher alternative, Heidi has also assured me that all my camping gear will be taken care - these people are great, this is only going to suck if I actually try hard to make it suck... or if there is a gargantuan spider hanging out in the tent... then it will suck as I'll be to paranoid to go in the tent after that... yes, yes, it's true, sad but true (ask me about my trip to FL some time).

I'm so EXCITED!!! Well I better get back to sewing, nothing like waiting until the absolute LAST minute to do things! Woohoo!

I Am A

What a great day this has been and I'm a little surprised by that, let me tell you. First thing this morning I call the clinic to make an appointment to pick up my new birth control and get some static from the ho on the other end about there not being any more appointments. I'm like WHAT???? And she's giving me the same shit about me having just walk in between 9 am and 5:30 pm because they don't take walk ins after that, yadda, yadda, yadda. I finish my delightful conversation with her (puncuated with choice swear words because I'm such an ignorant ass when I'm pissed). I call K and proceed to TELL him that he HAS to come home early so I can go to the clinic, yadda, yadda, yadda, more swearing, yadda, yadda. And he says yes (because, honestly what the fuck else is he going to say? Really, what? I am the woman who hung the first ANGRY ALBINO SOCK MONKEY in his room and creeped him out for days, and I did make a voodoo doll that our youngest currently sleeps with. I mean it's not like I would do anything to physically HARM him but mental anguish can be even more disturbing).

After that, my day improved throughout. I finished 3 out of the 4 projects I HAVE to have done by tomorrow (Yeah I left the BIGGEST one for last, I think I like that whole working under pressure thing) and I'm QUITE pleased with my work. I called my grandmother of all people and had a delightful conversation with her (please note she and I have a long history of not getting along) and am now contemplating shipping the offspring to her for Spring Break (Mar 21-28). Ahhh... a week to myself... the things I could do... I had a really nice conversation with XXX. A dear friend Skip called on his vacation trip with his nephew - good to hear from him and a pleasant surprise. Cabbage Patch didn't become The Badger today when I woke her, she and her sister were GOOD and didn't trash the living room too much. K did make it home in time for me to get to the clinic on time - hell even with 5 minutes to spare! At weigh in I discovered I'm 3 lbs lighter than I was this past weekend. Woohoo! I got my pills so I can do my part to control the pet population. When I checked out I didn't get charged the $15 I was supposed to get charged for changing BC methods and the cashier let me have one of the flavored lube's as well. I got some new clothes (new shirt above)and I bought them in a smaller size and they FIT! I got home and dinner was made, kids went off to bed soon and now here I am, still in a good mood. *sigh* Excal is this weekend and I'm sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo excited!!! It's a good day.
Funny Kid

I just woke Cabbage Patch who has been taking her nap on the sofa. The first thing she did as she was waking was reach for the DVD remote and turn the movie back one. heh. Reminds me of someone.
What's In My Coffee???
or
I've Been Having Some Fucked Up Dreams

I've been dreaming some whacked out stuff lately. I've read in different psychological books way back in college about how dreams are just a manifestation of your thoughts or that they are a way of working through your daily stresses and close examination of them will lead to self discovery. Metaphysical type people believe they can fortell the future, etc. Some believe they are just short movies made by aliens played for us while the aliens do their probing on us... okay, maybe I'm the only one who thinks that... Anyway, I've been having some whacked out ones... If I'm to go by the 'self discovery' theory - this is what I've learned:

Even if have a snooty neighbor who is the mom of one of Super Girl's school mates, and she invites me over, I'll be all shocked when my cats show up, then I'll be slightly offended when she is irritated about the cats in her house, at which point I'll discover that I also have a dog, a little terrier who is the exact match for snooty neighbors dog, but instead of impressing her that we have matching dogs, she's still pissy. At the point that she leaves the room I'll wander off to gather my pets and my kid to get out of there and then it's my turn to be pissy as I discover that this SNOOTY neighbor has been stealing my kids socks!!! How dare her?? (This is a fact I would not know unless I go wandering through her house opening drawers.) The discovery of the sock theft will be too much for me, I'll gather my socks, cats, kid and pick up my idiot dog and leave, luckily for Snooty Neighbor, she'll be busy with a dinner party so there will be no nasty show down over stolen socks and rude invading cats or matching dogs. I won't much appreciate the dirty looks from her dinner guests (who are her inlaws) and will briefly consider giving my stupid dog to the woman holding the matching dog (because I don't like my dog) then I'll realize that is pointless to do as my dog is stupid and will come home to me.

As far as the metaphysical arena, I looked up some key items in an online dream dictonary and this is what I found:

Socks
To dream that you are only wearing socks, indicates your warmth and your flexibility of understanding. You tend to yield to other's wishes.

To see a single sock in your dream, may be a pun for hitting someone or being hit. Alternatively, you may have been hit with some surprising information or news.

(well I wasn't wearing the socks... but I found unmatched socks...)

Thief
To dream that you are a thief, suggests that you are afraid of losing what you already have. Perhaps you are feeling that you are undeserving of the things you already have. Alternatively, you may be overstepping your boundaries in some situation or relationship.

To dream that you are a witness to a theft, indicates that others are wasting and stealing your time, energy, and ideas.

Dog
To see a dog in your dream, indicate a skill that you have ignored or forgotten, but needs to be activated. Alternatively, dogs may symbolize intuition, loyalty, generosity, protection, and fidelity. Your own values and intentions will enable you to go forward in the world and succeed.
To see a happily barking dog in your dream, symbolizes pleasures and much social activity.

Cat
for the cat lover, cats signifies an independent spirit, feminine sexuality, creativity, and power.

Okay so let's put this all together, I feel my time is being wasted by others and I want to hit them. My skill is being ignored or forgotten and I need to get with it. Also something about loyalty, generosity, protection and fidelity. I've got good values and a PARTY and some independent, feminine sexualty, creativity and power.

hmmm... yeah, right.

I'm sticking with the alien theory. Man I wish they'd quit with the damn anal probes!
Proof I Need To Get Out More

I read this headline yesterday Bush nominates Bolton as U.N. ambassador and my first thought was 'Why would bush nominate Michael Bolton to anything? I didn't know he's into politics, I thought he just sang bad songs.' And then I read a little of the article about... Undersecretary of State John Bolton... not... Michael Bolton.

Blowing Off Steam

So... Today was my BIG day to renew my birth control. I wanted to get it TODAY so that I didn't get screwed up on the days since I'm switching my BC method. I get to the clinic which is open until 7 pm, just after 6 pm. About 6:15 pm I'm called back and told that they can't see me as they don't take walk-ins after 5:30 pm. Now mind you, they have signs all over the waiting room that state that walk ins are welcome and NO WHERE does it say that walk ins AREN'T welcome after 5:30 pm. I'm not happy but I control my temper. Now I have to figure WHEN I can make time to go to the damn clinic in the next couple of days to get my pills! Fuckers.

So I'm driving home, pissed. The wee one I carted along with me is being quiet after being told mommy doesn't WANT to talk and that she needs to be quiet. I put in my 'Happy Music' but the LOVELY trafic is trying hard to keep me pissy (no comments from people about me always being pissy - I was more upset and teary at this point - remember that post earlier today about me being an emotional train wreck??). When I get home I finally find something that gave me a chuckle and helped to ease that throbbing vein in my head so maybe my head won't explode just yet. What made me laugh you may be asking (or not, but I'm gonna tell you anyway)? XXX. In a vent about Flamin' Hot Cheetos looking like a blood clot. hehehe... no only is he sexy, he's a comic genius. ;o) That phrase is going to stick in my head for while now. (Hey, someone once described my hair color with that exact phrase!) Okay, back to looking for my Zen, I guess I'll just stick with my back up BC method for now, and that would be keeping a picture of Al Gore stuck to my panties - hell that even turns BOB off!
Evil Food

Today I watched (listened mostly) to Super Size Me while sewing. If you haven't watched that movie, I highly recommend that you see it. It was a real eye opener. Not that people don't know that fried, salt laden, sugar filled fast food is bad for them, I think many people don't realized just how bad it really is. After watching this documentary, I'm not going eat it anymore and I'm not going to let the Little People eat fast food at all. (I don't eat fast food very often at all, maybe once a month at that, but that's over now.)

I was shocked and appaled at what damage was done to this man's health in just 30 days. Granted I do realize that he was eating 3 meals a day at McD's, still it was shocking.

The most outragous thing in the movie was the state of nutrition in children's schools. When Super Girl started school this year I looked over the menu and was appaled at what they called a nutrious lunch (subsequently Super Girl eats at school only on very rare occasions). If my darling child were to eat lunch at school every day she would have the opportunity to have something battered and fried every day. This especially bothers me since at the begining of the school year the district made a big deal of them being commited to Healthy Nutritional standards. They sent out fliers explaining that the children in the district would not do any candy/junk food fund raisers, there would be no junk food vending machines in schools and they wouldn't allow cookies/cakes/cup cakes for parties (they caved on that one after several parents complained - I wasn't one of them) as well as fliers touting the healthful lunches. The breakfasts offered by the school is even worse than the lunches as they offer some kind of sugar laden pastery every day in addition to the healtier choice. This coupled with the fact that the children don't have PE every day (I think it's 3 days a week they get it) is just setting up the kids who eat school lunches for weight problems. But I digress.

I'm off my soap box now, got a headache. Watch the movie if you haven't.
Did I Really Say That?

"No! No! Puzzle pieces do not go in my slippers. Put them in their box."
Why Is It?

That when one is in the least convenient position to take a phone call that everyone will call?

The phone has been quiet all morning until just 10 minutes ago. I'm sitting here with color on my hair trying to talk on the phone and not get color all over the phone and myself. *sigh* Anyone else wanna call? I've got 15 minutes before I have to rinse?
How To Charm Me...

Who wouldn't adore a toddler who insists on watching LOTR instead of subjecting her dear parental unit to the mental anguish caused by having to deal with Piglet's Big Movie or worse.
It's Not You, It's Me... Really

I'm ready for a change, just not sure how to make it happen. I've been depressed lately (I'm sure many people have noticed my extreme bitchiness) and feeling quite stressed. I don't like this at all, I don't like feeling like I'm not in control of my own life. It makes me all bitchy and whiney. Paranoid, I get paranoid about losing my friends (which I do feel as though some who mean a great deal to me have been pulling away) and losing my identity (who am I really?). I need to focus on myself and figure out what changes need to be made and how to make them happen.

Change isn't easy, it's scary as hell also. Yet it's what I want because the status quo just isn't doing it for me these days.

So, dear friends, please bear with me as I stand on what seems to be a great chasm and calculate my perfect moment to make a leap, hopefully I can make it to the otherside and not do a Wiley Coyote thing of splatting to the ground leaving a me shaped imprint. But even if that happens, it will be a change so it can't all be bad. Please refrain from criticizing or telling me what I 'need to do', I can call any number of people who are more than willing to tell me I'm stupid and how to make things 'better'. Support and encouragement are what I need, it's very tempting to go back to bed and pull the covers up over my head and just pretend things are fine. I need your patience also, I may call you just to hear a friendly voice that will make me smile, I might call you a lot, or not at all. Feel free to call me, I always enjoy hearing from you. But don't worry that I'm standing in my pantry counting out pills to 'end it all', that's not the kind of change I want, besides I have two beautiful children who need me.

Anyway, I'm trying to get my shit together so to speak, thanks to all my dear friends who have been there for me already and I thank everyone in advance for their support and help.

I'm done whineing now.

SPAM

I was just cleaning out my e-mail and saw one from 'ErectMan' titled 'Tiberious Erectus' followed by one titled 'Get The LuvBack' and another 'B:etterT:hanVia:gra!'(hey isn't that ME?? Aren't I better than Viagra???). Heh, gee I wonder what these are trying to sell me????

Ahhh the junk mail folder is sometimes good for a chuckle.

Be Afraid, Be Very Afraid

My youngest sleeps with a voodoo doll.

I made the doll a couple of years ago... not that I actually intended to inflict pain or anything on anyone with the doll, I don't really believe that is possible, but throwing the damn doll in the dryer every time that bitch pissed me off really made me feel better.

Hmmm... maybe I need to make more voodoo dolls... I have just the person in mind to model it after too.
MOOOOOOO!

Got a headache? How 'bout some cow pee elixer to help that out? 'Roids? Try some cow dung! Well maybe not here, but in India it's being sold to help just about everything. Read it here.

I don't know about you, but I think I'll keep my cow consuption to BEEF and not excrement of any kind. Ewwwww...
Proof That People Are Stupid!

If you are ever in doubt of that fact go to Ebay and look at some of the things in the Weird Stuff catagory. Several people have 'Mystery Box'es listed which promise something of 'great value' inside. The thing that trips me is that people are BIDDING on them! I saw one up to $700! What the fuck? Why bid that much on a box with stuff in it that you don't even know if you want?

Need more proof? Someone is selling a Dick Cheney on Black Velvet and someone else has bid on it! (this just makes me think of one of D's ex-boyfriends who had a shit load of black velvet paintings in his apartment - much snickering was done after that visit to his apartment)

So Early In The Year And I'm Already Losing Points!

As in for the Mother Of The Year. Today Cabbage Patch was taking a drink of Dr. Pepper from a bottle and some how when she brought the bottle down from her lips it managed to splash Dr. Pepper right in her face causing her to have the most shocked and amazed look on her little face... and causing me to snicker under my breath for a moment. Bad mommy.
Nekked Fun

In the past few weeks I've run into a couple of articles about naked stuff. Like a group of people who dine naked (where do you keep your wallet???) or people playing tennis naked. Yeah tennis.

Some things are great done naked, like having a naked tickle fight. I can sort of see the whole dining naked thing. I mean if you spill you aren't ruining a shirt and all - just if it's hot soup or something.. well ya might want some pants or something on. I mean, damn! Hot food can be dangerous! Other than that, I'm not sure I'd like a bunch of naked people around when I'm trying to eat.

Now tennis naked I just don't understand. All the running around makes things flop and jiggle. I mean I can't imagine many guys wanting their balls flopping around for that long! I couldn't watch, I'd keep thinking about how darn painful their balls would be after the match.

Naked tickle fight = gooooood, Naked dinner = okay, Naked tennis = ouchie bad
What A Waste!

That gigantic lobster died. Damn, what a shame! All I can think about is all that tasty lobster meat going to waste. They should have cooked that bad boy while they had a chance.
Gotta Love Ebay!

Tawny Peaks is selling one of her 'crazy big' implants. She had size 69-HH implants! Holy crap! Go ahead, bid on it!
Drama Night!

So apparently tonight was Drama Night at karaoke and I didn't get the memo. One fresh break up, two ex-girlfriends (or three actually), one jilted drunk, one psychotic exhusband story and one sappy happy love story. It was not the night for love, let me tell you, hell I'm almost afraid to talk to XXX now! Oh yeah and I got invited to something, but I can't talk about it yet! It's a secret! Woohoo!

Random Crap Cluttering My Mind...

Did you know...
The small, fuzzy kiwifruit may pack a big punch when it comes to heart health.
Eating kiwifruit every day may help lower triglyceride levels, according to a recent study. Reducing triglyceride levels and other blood fats helps to guard against the buildup of dangerous arterial plaques. The vitamin C, vitamin E, and polyphenol content of kiwifruit may be the reason for its heart benefits.

RealAge Benefit: Eating a diverse diet that includes 4 servings of fruit per day can make your RealAge as much as 4 years younger.

I didn't know that. I read it in an e-mail. SPAM can be educational at times and not just learning what pills and exercises will make a penis larger and rock hard for a long time.

On to other things I've discovered...
When I'm in the mood to waste time and chat, everyone else is busy. Fuck, somebody talk to me!!! IM me! Call me! Contact me telepatically! Something!!!

Okay, I'm done.

Asprin doesn't do shit for me on a sinus headache. My head hurts.

Enlightening Event

The other night K fixed the light on the fan. What was wrong with the fan you may be asking? (probably not, but it might make sense if I tell you) Days earlier I had pulled the chain to turn the light off and the chain came off in my hands. I never called the maintenance man to come fix it as I'm terribly forgetful about things that aren't a constant irritant and since I rarely have the light on during the day, I never rememberd to call. Around 6 or so every day I'd remember and think, "Oh, I should have called about that... too late now, better do it tomorrow". K got tired of waiting on my lame ass to call for repair and decided to do something terribly manly (and thus endanger his status as a GAY male and risk having his GAY CARD taken away), he decided to FIX the light. This brought great fear to me as K is not the most mechanically incline or electrically inclined. He can plunge a toilet as well as the next guy and has managed to fix a wonky disposal a couple of times, and has worked on the computers, but not much else in the MANLY GUY stuff catagory. I was actually afraid he would end up shocking the crap out of himself and I'd hurt myself stiffleing laughter then be filled with unending guilt for days - hey, don't give me that "You're such an insufferable bitch" look, he has blown up the computer before and believe me I suffer plenty. Anyway he managed to get things taken apart without injury, figured he needed a new part, went and got it and put things back together by himself. No shocks. The only little kvetch is that the light bulb fixture part didn't go back in right and it's kind of hanging there inside the glass globe covering it and as the fan turns, it shakes back and forth slightly, and the chain on the light/fan shakes making it tap against the glass rythmicly, just a little... but... enough... to... drive me to drink!!! *sigh*

Anyway, good job of fixing the fan K, I'm truly impressed you managed to do it quickly and without self injury. ;o)

that's all for now, I suppose I need to actually do some work.
This Just Makes Me Hungry

I just read this story about a giant lobster and I'm left with one question... would I have a pot large enough to cook that sucker?

All laced up!

Once K got home, I enlisted him to lace me all the way up. Looks better and now I have BOOBIES!
my new corset

(ignore how dorky I look in the picture, focus on the corset)
I'm so proud of myself, I finished my new corset, but that's not why I'm so proud - I laced it up myself (behind my back)! Well all except the last two grommets at the bottom. It needs to be tightened and fully laced, but I think it looks good - and will look even better with my black chemise.

I may think I am an asshole or a bitch, but the truth is I am a good person at heart. Yeah sure, I can have a mean streak in me, but most of the people I meet like me.

Funny, I thought I'd be more of a bitch.

Watching Too Much Sports

Watch this. Oh yeah, that's my commercial. (Thanks Petey for the link)
Penis Envy

I was just reading a post on a blog where in a woman relayed how she had a discussion with a friend that involved them discussing their mates penis size. I'm not even going to ASK how many women do THAT, because I KNOW WAY TOO MANY who do. I personally don't, never have, and I never would with ANYONE who would actually KNOW my boyfriend/husband/lover/etc. First of all penis size doesn't impress me at all. Talent and knowing how to get me THERE and getting me THERE impresses me, so someone talking about what a big dick their boyfriend has does nothing but make me think what a classless 'ho they are. Secondly WHY would you discuss your mates' privates? Have you no respect for your mate?

Men, how do you feel about your mate discussing your cock? Is it cool with you or does it make you a little uneasy. I'm not talking about BRAGGING about your bedroom antics, I'm taking about her talking about how you measure up and only that - because believe it or not guys often the conversation is JUST about size and not about prowess. Is this a conversation you are comfortable with?

Just wondering.
And Now For Something Completly Different...

You are

You are

I found these endlessly amuseing as it obviously show's my pure redneck white trash back ground. (I did it twice because I'm wearing leopard print panties, I put in tan for the klan white and leopard print for the spousal abuse black & blue.)

And now yet another stupid quiz...

Your Love Number is

2

Of all the numbers, you are the most caring and empathetic lover.
Unselfish and humble, you find it easy to forgive your sweetie's mistakes.
At times, your need to please can be come a bit too needy.
As long as you remain somewhat independent, your relationships are perfectly balanced.

Hmmm... I think that might be correct...

And finally...

Your Brain is 33.33% Female, 66.67% Male

You have a total boy brain

Logical and detailed, you tend to look at the facts

And while your emotions do sway you sometimes...

You never like to get feelings too involved

I've said that before.
Office Space With A Twist

This was sent to me... I laughed so hard. Go, watch, especially if you are at work. ;o)
Dr. Pepper

This weekend while I was haveing a fabulous time in San Antonio, K took the kids to the Dr. Pepper plant in Dublin TX. It's the oldest Dr. Pepper bottling plant in the world and it has a all this cool stuff there to see. I almost wish I could have gone with them to see that... almost.

When K and the kids picked me up at the airport there was a Dr. Pepper waiting in the car for me. Not just any Dr. Pepper, but a Dr. Pepper made with Real Imperial Sugar (not corn syrup). It was quite good.

Last night as I headed off to bed and was standing in my doorway chatting, K said "Oh, theres a box of Dr. Pepper on your bed." To which I responded "Yeah right, I wish." Then I stepped in and saw... a box of Dr. Peppers on my bed "Oh! There really is one!" A nice end to a really great weekend.
Bend Over, This Won't Hurt Much

The ticket is taken care of... for this month. The lovely city of Plano offers payment plans for tickets for us broke dicks who can't fork over $400+ at the drop off a hat. I did this last month with one ticket and got an extention on the other ticket. This month I paid off the one ticket and added the other to the payment plan, and only had to pay $100. Well today, I only had to pay $100. It cost $50 to do the payment plan. Yeah, sucks. At least I'm not in jail.
This Post Brought To You Today By The Letter S, As In Stress!!!!

Back from my little vacation in SA and I'm imediately bombarded with my stressful life. Generally speaking my life doesn't stress me that much. Today is another story, had to clean the living room (it would be so lovely if the Cleaning Fairy would pay a visit while I'm gone on the weekends), find my ticket info as today is the day I have to go make payment, etc - and when I find the papers I see that the due date for that was 2/27/05!!!! YESTERDAY! So I panic for 60 seconds as I call the court house and am told that it's cool, it's fine just come in and pay TODAY, yesterday the court house was closed so I have until the next business day to take care of the ticket. Whew... (yes I know, I'm always right under the wire on things, I absolutly hate that, but what the fuck.) Anyway, I breath a little eaiser - then remember that Excal is second weekend in March so I have until then to get a couple of projects finished! YIKES! I had hoped to get more sewing (as in to sell) done before now - that didn't work out. And money, I'm stressing over money, my check should have been here this past Thursday and it's not here YET, I'm anxiously waiting for the mail to get here in hopes that the CHECK will be IN the MAIL!!!!

I did have a spectacular weekend though.

Fun At The Airport

So I'm in SA with XXX have a great time. *sigh* Just thought I'd fill you in on the fun one can have at the airport thanks to two wee children and on gay husband.

I got to the airport with plenty of time, go to the security check point, put my luggage on the belt, put my purse in the container, take off my shoes and put them in my container, take off my jacket and put it in the container, take off my shirt... oh wait.. that was later... anyway... I walk through the metal detector and wait for my items to get x-rayed. As I wait the security person stops the conveyor, re-checks the items and calls someone to take the container because theres SOMETHING there. It's MY purse. The man pulls me to the side and tells me that there are scissors in my purse. I say "What? Scissors? I don't have scissors." He informs me that Yes I do have scissors and proceeds to paw through my purse and produce a tiny pair of scissors. I've NEVER seen them before, my only explanation is that the Tiny Terroists planted them in my purse to add to the excitement of my trip. I told the guy he could throw the scissors away because I'd never seen them. He did, I went on.

Once in the terminal waiting on my plane, I decided that I would go ahead and get some thing to eat since I wouldn't arrive until 9 pm. I stand in the slowest line available deciding on getting a cheese burger and a small Dr. pepper. When it's my turn I open my change purse to discover that SOMEONE (read K) had purloined my MONEY! I had $2 and change. Enough to ge a medium drink. Which I did. Then cursed K.

Anyway... I made it, haveing a wonderful time, gotta get back to having fun now. ;o)
