Scarby Photos?

Where, oh where are my scarby photos??? Not on my camera it would seem, because although I DID bring my camera on Sunday, I however forgot to put the damn memory card in. Doh!

As it was I didn't get to faire until 3 pm on Sunday. Although I got off work promptly at noon I didn't leave home until nearly 2 pm as I was having stomach issues. I absolutly hate getting sick enough to be throwing up, it takes me forever to recover. After an extra dose of stomach medicine I felt well enough to go.

I thougth for certain that I had gotten to faire too late for Scottish court and had missed our ships introduction to the queen by The Dark Scorpion, but lucky for me I made it just moments before and was able to participate. Unfortunately NO one has posted photos of me and my shipmates soooooooo I have none to post. Come on people.. it's Tuesday... I saw a lot of cameras flashing!

Later I stopped by Shatzie's booth and I picked up some lovely gold kitty lips. Check out Schatzie's Pucker Pins if you are at faire. Then we headed off to catch the last show of Juan and Miguel in the rain (light shower).

Gotta love my gold pussy lips!

AFTER faire, we headed over to Johny Carino's for dinner. mmmmm the gorgonzola penne was good, could have used more mushrooms and tomatoes, but it was really good.

What a great day! What great friends! *sigh* can't wait for next week!

Off to make a kilt!

Feel The Heat

Some guy just told me I'm hot... not just hot, but that I put all the other women to shame... I'm that hot. hehe Crazy mutha fucker, but I think I like him!
Passover 2005!!
OR
A 99% Jew Free Passover Seder!

(well since it's just me that's a Jew and the kids only count for half... )

Prayers And Candle Lighting

... not stetting my gerbils on fire as it may appear.

Matzo Shark!

Everybody run!

What Glass Of Wine Are We On?

Festive

Because after a few bottles of Kosher wine, who isn't?

What The Hell??

I told you he was my bitch!

Hi?

No - Chai! It's my Passover present from Jodie. (love her!) Now I'm more Jew than you! (which is really no different than it always was really...)

The Passover rocked as usual. Check out all of the photos here. Excuse the quality of the photos, I had my camera set for close up photos and didn't realize it until later when I was taking porno.. I mean cleaning my camera. Petey's wife, The Bear joined us this year. There were many many laughs and as much matzo and kosher wine as one could stand!

Highlights of the evening:
Everyone trying the badass horseradish that Petey had gotten. It was STRONG. I will never ever get another brand.

Cabbage Patch eating her soup but not the Matzah balls and when asked why not eat them, they are good, her saying "No, that's poop!" I blame her father's Christian genetics for my child disrespecting a sacred Jewish staple. But I did laugh for several minutes after that.

Kent being a Matzoh Shark. du-du... du-du...

Leftovers! Damn I could eat Matzah Ball Soup every damn day! (and I will!) The food rocked.

Have You Hugged A Tree Today?

Today is earth day. I'm not really sure what that means other than it prompted an arguement with my oldest this morning over what she was going to wear. Seems it's Spirit Day at school also and they were supposed to wear jeans and a red, green or blue shirt. This was something that was told to me just moments before we were to walk to the bus stop. Super Girl wore her blue shirt Thursday and doesn't even own a green one. As far as a red one... well we did manage to find the only RED shirt she owns. Super Girl is of the age of BARBIE and much of her clothing is in varing shades of PINK or PURPLE. Honestly I have no clue what Red, Green or Blue shirts have to do with Earth Day.

I did my part to conserve today. I conserved my energy by taking two naps. Yeah. I'm recovering from my illness though. I think I'll go finish my conservation efforts now.

Not The Way I Had Imagined!

I've been sick most of this day. K stayed home because he was sick, I started feeling sick shortly after Super Girl headed off to school. Thank goodness Cabbage Patch is basically a good little one because I spent the day on the couch or in the bathroom.

Somehow I've managed to have my home become Biohazard Central again. Cabbage Patch pukey on Monday, Super Girl being sent home for her rash on Tuesday and a trip to the clinic, then her home Wednesday just as a precaution and now both K and I are just really sick today.

I'm desperately behind now, I haven't managed to get anything done this week. I'm hope to wake feeling right as rain tomorrow and full of energy and motivation. Hopeing, hopeing, hopeing. Now I need to head back to bed to get a bit of sleep before I have to visit the bathroom again. Night all.
All Men ARE Created Equal!

At least according to this penis study they do.

My favorite part of the article... the last paragraph where it says "...so the penile size is not static." and "...this could spur yet another study." I wonder how I could get on that research team! ;o) kidding! Kidding! I'd spend all my time snickering and giggling. But I do wonder if I could submit my *ahem* independent study results to help prove the statement in the next to last paragraph... oh yeah baby... that's true!

Stick Art

Yesterday while being tortured... er.. I mean waiting to see the doctor, I was stuck with an amazing and startling moment of creativity. I felt as though I had been revived more than if I had just chugged two Grande double shot espressos from Starbucks (with extra cream and sugar for good measure). What many people don't realize is that years ago (back in high school) I was a master of STICK ART. Yes, yes that was me, I know you are all amazed. You've had a master in your presence and you didn't even know it. It's okay, I prefer to be treated like one of you, just as a normal person. ;o)

Below are some of the master pieces I produced last night.

CSI Scene

A masterfully detailed crime scene complete with stick CSI.

Stick Jesus

At the request of the Little People. Stick Jesus, complete with sandals.

Stick Pope

And at the request of K, Stick Pope.

Enjoy. Feel free to suggest more Stick Art subjects, I plan to create many more Stick Art pieces. I know you are excited. ;o)

Tell Me Something I Don't Know!

So we go to the clinic with Super Girl and she's diagnosed with... contact dermatitis from poison ivy (just what I said) and I was told to give her Benedryl (like I have been) and put hyrocortozone cream on her rash (like I have been also). So basically we wasted 4 fucking hours (clinic time then going to get some food because it was so late and we were fucking starving) to hear from the doctor that she has what I said she does and I'm doing what I should be. Fucking school. Now it still remains to be decided if she will go back to school tomorrow. I WANT her back in school tomorrow, oh do I want her back in school, but I just might get a high powered rifle and look for a bell tower to take aim from if I get another call from the school nurse about that damn rash. *sigh* deep cleansing breaths...

Odd Sightings

So last weekend at Scarby I was at the Iris and Rose show and I saw this guy who looked familiar and then he made eye contact with me and gave me a sly smile and then I recognized him as someone I had gone out with! Damn! I didn't say anything because I didn't really know what to say to my friend "say, look at the dude in the kilt. No not that one, the other one, no the other one.. yeah him, yeah I fucked him.. I mean we went out." Seemed slightly inappropriate for some reason.

Anyway... fast forward to tonight. We go to a local Italian place for dinner, right after we order Cabbage Patch has to go potty. So lucky momma get's the job. When I return to the table K is standing by the table talking to someone who has their back to me. I get to the table and see that it's R! We haven't seen him in months! And then I remember seeing the guy from Scarby and I think "This is totally fucked up, am I going to keep running into men I've slept with?" I think that for a while after R goes back to his table with his family and other friends then I look at the table and recognize a former nurse and a doctor (married couple) that I know from work! I go talk to them, they live across the street from R's parents and have know them for years. It was weird and then I figured my theory of continuing to run into men I've had biblical relations with was just a fluke and that I'm thankfull for that because that would just get weird. But R is so funny, he was like "you look great!" lyeing mutha fucka! I looked like shit! My hair is just BARELY clean, I had no make up on and I was tired. He's just saying that to see if he can get in my panties! hahahahahahahahahahahahahaha! He's going to have to work harder than that!

And now I'm tired. I believe I'll turn in early and worry about catching up on shit tomorrow.
Something To Make Me Smile!

Last night I submitted a sketch for some work I've been asked to do. It's something that the requestor wanted me to use my artistic vision for how it will look. The response to day was overwhelmingly possitive! I'm excited and now a little full of myself. ;o)
Death To Those With The Power Hose!

Gawd-damn! What the fuck??? The maintenance people (or whoever the imigrant looking people outside were) were washing the outside of the building with some kind of power water spitting thing. Part of the washing included the windows... including my window that is OPEN! They squirted water right in my fucking window! I'm fairly certain they realized what they did as they quickly shut off the equipment and moved to a different building. Mutha Fuckas! Making me wanna call imigration or something! DAMN it!
The Excitement Never Ends!

I sit here waiting for K to come home from work so I can run to school and pick up Super Girl. Seems the rash on her face is freaking out the teacher and the school nurse. I'll take her to the clinic later just to be safe, but a call to my aunt (a doctor) and my grandmother (a retired nurse) left me feeling pretty confident that it's not to serious. Although I may end up keeping Super Girl home tomorrow if she's still swollen, just so I don't get a call from the nurse.

*sigh* So now I'm off schedule by half a day. Luckily K is staying home as it would be pointless for him to go back then have to leave early again (we are going to take Super Girl to the clinic later just as a precaution and to make the school happy). K has promised to watch the kids so I can get some sewing done. YAY! One good thing, I did get to run down to my clinic and get my pills, which I might have had to wait to get as K was going to go to the ballet with B tonight. Sorry guys for ruining your date.

Must go, those kilts aren't making themselves! (which is actually good since I'm getting paid to make them!) I'll be posting photos later of the amazing process.

A Life So Glamorous That Robin Leach Calls At Least Once A Week!

This is how my day has been....

Alarm goes off at 6:30 am, get out of bed, K herds the Little People down the stairs to get ready. One look at Super Girl, my thoughts "Holy Shit! Her head is the size of a watermelon!" Damned poison ivy! (yes my darling child has gotten into poison ivy yet AGAIN!) After a brief consultation with K as to whether to keep her home or let her go to school, it was decided that I would give her the allergy medicine to bring down the swelling, put on the anti-ich cream and the stuff to keep it from getting all icky and we'd just send her on to school. Today was the class field trip to the zoo and she's been looking forward to this for weeks. So off she went. I wrote a note to the teacher that Super Girl's rash was from poison ivy, but she was medicated and would be fine. I still got a call from the school nurse asking if she would be okay to go to the zoo, I assured her that Super Girl would be fine. Then I finally get my coffee - sheesh!

Lunch time... mmmmm tuna melt... made lunch for Cabbage Patch, took phone call from someone from Friday party. Cabbage Patch fell asleep on the sofa. When she woke from her nap she said that her stomach hurt. Then she threw up on the couch. *sigh* Luckily it was on a blanket on the couch. Cats and toddlers... can't seem to vomit in a toilet. It was time to get Super Girl from the bus then. I got the following note in her folder:

Dear Super Mom,

Did you give Super Girl some medicine that may have affected her bahavior today? She threw a rock at the bald eagles! She also ran around and wouldn't stay with the parents and the class!

The Teacher

Yay. My kid throwing a rock at the bald eagle. Good one. I'm so proud. *eyes rolling up in head*

Back home, we are watching The Muppets Take Manhattan for the 20th time today when Cabbage Patch stands up and says that her stomach hurts. I ask if she needs to throw up to which she replies 'yes'. I tell her to go into the bathroom and throw up in the toilet. She goes, then comes back in the living room. I ask if she threw up 'no', ask if she still has to throw up 'yes' and then tell her adamantly to GO BACK TO THE BATHROOM! So she stands there and throws up... on the sofa... and the blanket... and the floor... and on ME! SHIT! She finishes her Exorcist impression and I cart another bundle of clothes to the washer. And curse K for being the one with a full time job, I would so rather have been the one to HEAR this story rather than tell it.

The rest of the evening was a blur of making dinner, bathing kids, sending one off to bed early and contemplating why I would get thrown up on twice and still get $10 in the mail for testing crappy shampoo. Karmic balancing of the stranges sort.

I suppose my Saturday night Chinese food fortune sumed it up perfectly though:

You are an adventurer - traveling on the highway of life.

Let's just hope tomorrow's travel doesn't involve vomit or evil children.
Scarby Photos Weekend 2

The Captain And Me

The Captain And The Ladies

Me blinding everyone with the glare of the sun off my super white boobs.

Most of The Crew

I think we took this photo 3 times.

Checking Out What's On The Horizon

Hmmm... No wonder the captain is always got a smile on his face!

It Finally Happened!

Everyone told her she'd put someone's eye out with one of those!

It was a quiet weekend but much fun! Go see the other photos in my album!

Other things...

What a weekend! Damn it was fabulous! The party was too much fun! I didn't get home until 5:30 am. Then I got an hour and a half of sleep and headed to work and of course I had to work a LONG day - I didn't pull back in to home until 5:30 pm. So I was TIRED. Thank heavens for Chinese take out!

Sunday I got off work at 12:30 pm and headed to faire! Woohoo! (see pictures above) I eventually bumped into my friends. We took crew pictures and chatted for a bit. I'm not sure why everyone was sooooo interested in my necklace. People kept pointing to my neck and saying "What's that?", my goodness people, you've all seen my charms before! ;o)

I was going to go to dinner with the crew BUT they left me! Whaaaa! No biggie, it's not like my hips needed another couple of enchaladas to make the wider.

Whew... what a weekend!

Another Happy Marine Life Story!

Read about Aurora the octopus and her surprise babies! The end of the story is kind of sad, but I will keep hopeing that mamma Aurora does well! Gosh I got all teary reading this! I'm such a sap!
Party! Party! Party!

After much persuasion, I'm heading off to a party tonight. I was hesitant at first, but a charming gentleman told me how very much he was looking forward to my company and how could I say no! The hostess assured me there would be some adorable men (possibly some mansicles!) there would love to meet me, because after all I am 'The Hot Chick' (just ask the tailor guy who kept calling me that last weekend!). Now I just have to find the perfect outfit! Off to try on everything in my closet at least twice! ;o)
Why No Photo????

This story about the new baby Wholphin is so freaking cool! I just wish they had posted photos of it. I wonder what one would name a baby whale-dolphin?
Dirty Laundry

It’s odd to see a conversation you once had happen again almost verbatim to the one you had. I guess if it worked for him once, he figured it would work again. Maybe a different book, but the same subject of oral sex, but hey, what guy doesn’t love a blow job – just ask Clinton!

Anyway, some days I think I like to torture myself. I saw the ex’s woman’s online journal. Oddly enough after reading it I don’t feel angry or upset, I feel a deep sense of pity for her. Seriously. I guess in some ways I’m glad I read it, I had an epiphany of sorts about the demise of the relationship – I’m better off alone than with someone who felt it necessary to hide his relationship with me. I in no way harbor any ill will towards M on this, I understand that this is just his nature and one woman will never be enough for him. He’s told me before and the last time we spoke of how he can never love anyone, not even himself – and I do believe him now. Anyway apparently they feel as though I have aired the dirty laundry of mine and M’s misfortunate breakup. Honestly I have not done that at all, I’ve spoken to very few people about this, the nature of me finding out about his infidelity in such a public forum lead to MANY people knowing about our relationship that M was keeping a secret. M had the opportunity to be truthful with me in a private forum, hell the weekend of February 25 when I was in San Antonio with him for the weekend, he could have told me I wasn’t the only one, but instead we made love 5 or 6 times a night, went to the movies, had a wonderful dinner out, cooked dinner in, cuddled on the sofa watching movies, snuggled in bed watching television between love making, had fabulous breakfasts and more love making. Never did he tell me that there was some one else (and I had confronted him on that earlier and he lied and said no), he did however tell me how much he loved our weekends together, how very special they were and how special I was to him and how much he didn’t want our special weekends to change. I bought it; it’s what I wanted to hear. Yes I am airing dirty laundry now, it’s a mostly private forum though, not many people read this – this really is just for my own benefit, but this is it, I’m not going to talk or write about it anymore. It’s over. I’m moving on. I’m not looking to badmouth M or anyone else, I have no anger for M though I’m still deeply hurt by his actions and that he didn’t respect me or care enough about me and my feelings to avoid the public humiliation I endured. Really M, if you had talked to me prior to the Excal fiasco, no one would ever know of our relationship, I would suffer in silence and L would not know either. And there was never a reason to lie, I am a strong woman, I can take just about anything. You really could have had it all, I really didn’t care if you saw other women, I cared about honesty. After a year in a relationship – yes a relationship, hell I have your freaking apartment key – in which you continually told me that you wanted me in your life every time I asked you if you wanted to end things with me, I did expect you to be honest. I trusted you to be honest. You let me down and betrayed that honesty. I don’t hate you for it; I understand that’s your nature – maybe the nature of all men to lie for sex. Ya know what they say ‘A tiger can’t change his stripes’, neither can a man. L, I feel for you, I wish you didn’t know any of this, I wish you were still blissfully unaware of any of M’s indiscretions, living with constant mistrust of one’s mate is never easy and it never, ever goes away. If you feel that you have to be with him all the time because he’s easily ‘seduced’ then you are just admitting that you don’t trust him. That’s the type of thing that will keep you up at night wondering, being miles away from him, just wondering. I’ve been through it, I tried hard to trust again and it never ever happened, I always wondered if he was lieing, if every time he was out with someone if he was actually out doing something he shouldn’t be doing – 4 years of counseling later I said enough. It was empowering.

Anyway that’s it, no nastyness really, just my embarrassment and hurt. I have no hate or anger towards M and definitely not L. I’m still hurt, still hurts to see them together, not because I want him back, just that it’s a reminder of how betrayed I was and that makes me feel foolish. I loved him, my foolishness, but I’m moving on and ya know, it feels good.

And that’s it. Dear friends don’t go speak to L on my account, she deserves her peace. And as far as the people who still come up and say “Oh you were with G? Oh gosh, I wish I had know, I would have told you about him. That’s just the way he is though. I’m so sorry.” Okay, enough. I don’t really want to talk about the 13 months of what I thought was something special and be told how very much it wasn’t to him. I really, really just want to be able to look back at all the time we spent talking every day, all the long phone calls and all the time we spent holding each other and our time together as something that WAS special. I really did enjoy being with him and talking to him. So please, don’t ruin things for me. I don’t want to know anymore about his past, his behavior over the past year or anything else. Part of it makes me desperately nervous and anxious and the rest just hurts and makes me feel foolish for trusting him. Please don’t trash him to me, I’m not interested in being part of that. Let’s just not talk about it. I wish only happiness and peace for both M and L and mostly for myself. It’s over, it’s done, time to move on.

Yoke

Cabbage Patch holding a boiled egg and pointing to the yoke. I say 'It's a yoke. Yoke." She says "It's not yuck!" I say, "No... it's called a YOKE." Her, "No it's all clean."

Later

me: You need to comb your hair.
her: I already did. *obviously she hadn't*
me: Liar, liar, pants on fire.
her: No der not! Der just clean!
Hibachi Fun

The absolutly beautiful weather yesterday convinced us that cooking out would be a fabulous idea. We took the plunge and splurged $5 on a 'high end' hibachi last night. Our intent was to have a lovely picnic dinner out front.

While I prepared the pasta salad and other things, K sat outside and assembled the 'some assembly required' hibachi. An hour later the 'high end' hibachi was now ready to have the coals lit. Everyone was hungry. Thank heavens we had planned hot dogs for dinner!

Dinner was an hour and a half late and eaten inside while watching a movie. But it was good. (we threw some chicken on the grill since the coals were still hot - tonight's dinner!)

Things To Make

Super Girl brought home modeling clay. Now the little people are playing with it - under my watchful eye (don't want to be cleaning that crap out of the carpet!)

Super Girl came up and showed me her creation "Look mamma! A snow man!" Cabbage Patch came up with a wad of clay in her hand and said "Look mamma! A cannon ball!" hehehehehe...
Party In The Parking Lot
Or
Lerxst & Sable Know How To Party!

The first day of Scarby was really great. I hung around quite a bit with Denise, Sable & Lerxst. I ended the day with quite a buzz. Huzzah for strange alchoholic concoctions poured in my cup! Despite a few uncomfortable sightings of the ex with his whatever, I had a grand time. I appreciate him choosing NOT to party in the parking lot near me even though they were at one point parked near us - I can only wish for as much courtesy the rest of faire (it's to damn much to hope for them to not come back, damn it!). It was a wise choice as I chose to get rather drunk after seeing them and when I'm drunk I tend to blurt out truthful things that are better left unsaid.

Lerxst was the man when it came to providing me with the materials to get drunk. I chose not to partake in the screwdrivers Sable favored and Lerxst filled my cup with a Nutty Irishman. Huzzah! I suppose that's the best man I could ask for that night. The party was a bit of a blur after most of that and on to the other, but I do remember having a shit load of a grand time. Eventually my booze was cut off and I was told to get in the vehicle that it was time to go home. Hugs and kisses for everyone and staggered to the car.

Now for the fun part! The drive home! Lerxst driving is much less scary after an evening of drink. The conversation was quite funny (to me that is) and I ended my sentences with "Shit I'm drunk, I really need to shut the fuck up!" or "Fuck I'm drunk, you have to excuse me if I'm offensive." I don't think anyone needed a reminder of my drunken state and yes I did need to shut up. I do remember the ride being bumpy but as I said, it was less perilous at this point. At the point of dropping off Denise I had to use the potty. Denise was staying at a friends house and the house is rather old. I must have stood in the dark bathroom for 5 minutes with my bladder about to burst before I finally had to ask Denise where the light switch was.

Somewhere along the drive back to Lerxst place I started to sober up and we started discussing garb. I sobered up eventually and drove myself home from Lerxst - I was home by midnight.
Out From Under Rocks

Very weird, suddenly several men from my past have resurfaced in the past few weeks. Some I haven't spoke to in YEARS. K says it must be pheremones, I'm giving off pheremones. I say maybe my karma is balancing out to give me a much needed ego boost after my devastating relationship disaster. It is nice to be wanted. ;o)

On To Other Things...

Vote for Sable!

I slept so damn good last night, probably the best nights sleep in the past 5 weeks.

My dearest friend A just suffered a heart wrenching breakup - so naturaly she called me as I've recently been dealt the same blow. I repeated all the things that people have told me and hope they make her feel better than I did. I assure you A, there is a light at the end of the tunnel, sometimes it will be that train, other times it's bright glorious sunshine, just keep going.

Speaking of sunshine, that makes me thinkg of my SUN BURNED shoulders, they suddenly this morning decided to no longer be bright red. I really need to find my Bullfrog.

Why does my house get so freaking dirty in mere minutes when I spend hours cleaning?? I know, I know, has much to do with Chaos and Destruction. retorical question ya know.

Well my coffee is done, best CLEAN and do my mountain of laundry so I can get on track with my sewing. I'll be back to write more about my Scarby Weekend! The After Party and ride home up next! Yes, yes! More perilous tales involving Lerxst driving.

Coffee and Terror
Or
The Morning of Living Dangerously

A sure fire combo to wake one up! Ya know it's almost a shame to post after putting up all the cool photos. So I'll make it brief - instead of putting up one long post about what a fabulous weekend I had, I'll just post something interesting every so often. Today will be the perilous tale of coffee in the back of Lerxst vehicle. *cue dramatic music*

So the arangement was for me to ride with Lerxst and Sable to Scarby. I woke at a godforesaken time of 5 am (to finish some shit) and arrived at Lerxst's at 7:30 am. We left about 8 am and headed to pick up Denise. After getting Denise, those in the front of the vehicle decided to stop in a drive through to grab a quick breakfast. As I had already eaten I only requested a large coffee with sugar and cream - ya see, I discovered at 5 am that fine morning that I was completly out of sweetner for my coffee. I can drink it minus cream but not without sweetner, so this would be my FIRST cup of the day. The last item handed back in the vehicle was the big cup of scalding hot coffee. A moment of clairity came and went quickly for me. After getting said coffee I thought "I need to ask Lerxst to park for just a moment while I get my coffee ready." and as I said it just went out my fucking head as I didn't say a damn thing. Now let me pause from this tale for a moment to make a note regarding Lerxst driving. It's fast and somewhat scary. Yes scary, not hugly scary (if you are riding in the back and can't really see much) but scary - somewhere between bed-wetting and a near death experience. At one point the man was steering with his knee, speeding down 75 as he shaved his pretty little face with an electric razor. But I digress, back to me and my coffee.

Here I sit with a LARGE cup of HOT coffee and a handfull of sugar and creamer. My delima was how to get sugar and creamer into the cup without getting the contents of the cup on me. This seems simple, but it wasn't. My first few attempts resulted in hot coffee being sloshed on my hands and me not being able to get the sugar open. My next idea was to put the coffee between my legs and open the cup. Big mistake. Hot coffee between the legs is not very refreshing. Not a bit. So the next was to try to pour the sugar through the little drinking opening on the lid. Still, I was getting copious amounts of coffee on me and spilling sugar on my lap. Finally I stuck my cup back in the cardboard holder thingie sitting on the floor and poured as much sugar and cream in as I could. Then attempted to stir. When I mentioned later that I had lost one stirer in the coffee from all the jostling around, Denise and Sable laughed and ask why I even needed to stir with Lerxst driving. How true. We got to faire and I finished my cup of coffee and sucked the rest out of my chemise. It was just the start of a fabulous day.

I learn my lesson, no hot beverages when Lerxst is driving.

Photos From Scarby
Three Wenches

Me, Denise and Sable - Selina took this picture, I love it - we were laughing and having so much fun right before Selina told us all to smile and snapped the picture.

Four Redheads

I'm Even Hot To A Dead Guy!

Dead Bob is my new man, hell he's always got a bone for me.

It's Good To Be The Captain!

John has no problems with most of his crew being ladies. ;o)

The Hottie In Blue

And his lovely lady. Good lord, is it even legal for a man this hot to be walking around??? I don't know but I'm thankful for that sight... and I continue to be thankful for as long as my industrial size box of batteries lasts.

I have more photos in my Yahoo album. I didn't take many photos, I forgot my card for my camera for the first day - what a dork am I! I'll write about what fun I had and the guy who kept calling me 'The Hot Chic' all day (crazy guy with bad vision), the after party, the trip to the gay bar for the Suck Fest and much much more. It rocked so much!
The Dreaded Pirate Judy

Arrrgh!

I love this picture, Amber took it at the end of the day. Boy can Koolagh lace a bodice!

What a great day, what wonderful friends I have.

In Her Jammies

She was soooo thrilled to see them this morning, you would have thought I had made them out of fabric that was spun out of gold. Kids. heh.

Jammie Pants!

This is what Super Girl needed for school tomorrow - jammie pants. Why? Because tomorrow is Spirit Day and everyone is supposed to wear their pj's. Well my ladies prefer to wear K's t-shirts for night shirts - this isn't an issue since he has about a million t-shirts, but it's totally inappropriate for her to go to school in. So I had to make jammie pants. And aren't they cute! I love that fabric (D don't look to close... that fabric only seems like it's familiar to you... It's really not that cool fabric you left here a couple of years ago for me to make something for you and we never did... no really it's not.. no, really... really... maybe...) - I like it so much I think I want to make something out of it too!

Anyway, there are the pants, marvel at them, be amazed, sing the praises, yadda, yadda, yadda.
Last Minute Crap!
File this under: Bitching

Silly school with their silly themed Spirit Days. Taking a break from my sewing projects to do this for Super Girl. *sigh*
Got Bit By A What???

Our conversation:

Her: What that?
Me: A bug bite.
Her: Bug bite?
Me: Yup.
Her: What bite you?
Me: A bug.
Her: A Spider?!?! *said all wide eyed and surprised*
Me: Um.. no, I don't think so.
Her: An alligator?
Me: Yeah, an alligator bit me.
Her: *pondering for a moment* That would hurt me to get bite by an alligator.
Me: Yeah. Maybe it was a shark.
Her: Nooooo. It was an alligator. *said with utter disdain and my unbelievable suggestion of shark bite when it's obvious the two tiny spots on my body are alligator marks*
Me: Okay, whatever you say. It was an alligator.
Her: Yeah.

Quiz

Well that's a surprise. Well... not really.
Fortune, Is That You Smiling On Me?

Dear gawd, what fun I had tonight. I did three measurments, picked up a new order and discovered I'll be making not one kilt but 4 kilts! Holy fuck I'm gonna be a freaking expert when this is done! Woohoo! I'm damned excited. The downside of all this is that I probably won't have time to make MY OWN garb. *sigh* must channel all the time management and organization skills I can muster!! I'm still excited.

Also I joined a brothel. I'm the Sheep Whore, that would be the one catering to all the Scots. (And how did I become the Sheep Whore you may be asking yourself, well I said Cheap Whore and Dora heard Sheep Whore which is much, much funnier. So BAAAAAAAA!) Heidi found lovely chicken bracelets with dangling cocks for our Chicken Coop. I can't wait for dangling cocks around my wrist!

Is it faire yet???? heh, actually I think I'm panicking - Oh damn! Faire is here! Can't wait. ;o)

FAIRE!

I just sent an e-mail to my boss saying that I need to know who to contact for coverage for this weekend as I WON'T be working this weekend. Got my ticket lined up, got my garb washed, got a ride set up, Faire just needs to start!!!
You're So Vain

You probably think this blog is about you. But it's not! It's about ME! Look I colored today, I think it looks damn good.

Sound Track For Today: Everclear - Songs From An American Movie Vol 1

I keep playing this CD over and fucking over! Damn. Don't make fun of me for liking Everclear - I don't like everything you do, so there.

Song for today: Now That It's Over

Yeah right!

One, two, three, four

Break down, shake for me
Nothing ever is the way you want it to be
Nothing even tastes right now that it's over

Break down, shake for me
Don't write words unless you want me to read them
Nothing really matters now that it's over

Maybe we can be friends
Now that we're older
We can have fun like we did in the early days
Now that it's over

Yeah right!

Break down, shake for me
Nothing ever seems the way it ought to be
Nothing ever seems right now that it's over

Yeah, now maybe we can be friends
Maybe we can be closer
We can have fun like we did in the old days
Now that it's over

Oh yeah...

My bad dreams just don't seem the same
Baby without you
I wish you were willing to accept the blame
Yeah, for everything you do

My nightmares just don't scare me now
Baby without you, yeah yeah
I wish that I could find the words to tell
In the best way possible, you and your friends to go to hell

Yeah right!

Whoa, breakup time is never easy to do
Nothing ever ends the way you want it to
Nothing seems to make sense now that it's over

Yeah, now maybe we can be friends
Yeah, now that you're leaving
You can be nice to me
Maybe I'm dreaming
I am a lot better now than just okay
Maybe I am just wakin' up in my own way
Now that it's over
Now that it's over

My bad dreams just don't seem the same
Baby without you
I wish you were willing to accept the blame
Yeah, for all the shitty things you do

Nightmares just don't scare me now
Baby without you
I wish that I could find the words to tell
You to politely go fuck yourself
Yeah, now that it's over...

I do love that song. I wish I had Sparkle And Fade by them because I love Santa Monica and I love to play that over and over and over until I was ready to puke. (I already do have it downloaded on my computer, I just wish I had it on CD so I could play it in my car)

Random Shit

My new retainer makes me sound like Sylvester right now. Suffering Succotash!

I haven't gotten shit done today other than color my hair. The whole flat tire, driving K to work, going to get retainer stuff is wasting my whole freaking day. I did clean the living room though, and one load of laundry is now CLEAN! Woohoo! Now I need a nap!

My orthodontis drives a big white Cadilac Escalade - fully loaded I'm sure... I wonder if he's related to Jesus (who as we know drives a gold Cadilac Escalade pimped out with custom plates that say JESUS - I saw him in my hood)?

Is it mean to say that someone looks like a post-op transvestite if it's an accurate description?

Team America is such a fucking offensive movie, but I laughed my ass off. I just want to get the parts where they take care of the the Susan Sarandon puppet and the Tim Robbins puppet on mp3 so I can play them over and over.
A Few Laughs For ME!

Things that are amuseing me: That I somehow got shampoo up my nose in the shower. Duh! That someone is pissed at me for what I write on this BLOG and that they would remove my comment on their blog because 'Oh My God! Someone might link to this blog and read what I wrote!' Get over it dude, it's all quite public already and nobody reads this blog. Stop and listen? Hear the crickets chirping? I don't know what you are afraid of, the truth might be hard to swallow at times, but one should never fear it (it will set you free, isn't that the saying??). Try it sometime.

K got a flat today... that's not really funny, but he admitted having a moment of my "I told you so." as I had told him the tire needed to be replaced. Just saved me some time.

I'm off to the ortho!

Bursting With Excitement!!!

I got a call for an order for a kilt! I'm sooooo excited! I've wanted to make one for a while now. I was going to make one for my ex but he just wouldn't commit to me(hmmmm.... a pattern?) on whether he wanted me to make it or not. Anyway this will be my FIRST one! I'm doing some research on kilt pricing and I'll only charge them half of that because it will be my FIRST time. I'm sooo freaking excited. Stay tuned for more developments on my KILT project and the completion of the rest of my projects.

Ya know, for a day that started out pretty crappy, it's turned out to be pretty great.
Shirt Finished

All done, granted it took me far to long to finish this shirt - way to many self indulgent pitty party breaks. Sheesh... can someone please give me a good kick? I think I need one, I just gotta get over this.

So... I'm pretty well convinced that I WILL go to Scarby this weekend. My dear friends have just about convinced me that I need to and it will be wonderful and all. I'll be with them and that will be fabulous!!

Anyway, admire the shirt! It's Fabulous!
Basket Case

That's me, a fucking basket case. Goddamn I'm tired of this. I see a picture of Michael/Grim and Loa/Chandra and it's like a knife in my heart. I am so tired of crying about this. I'm not even sure I'm going to go to Scarby opening weekend now, I know they'll be there and fuck if I cry of a picture of them, how am I going to react in faire???? *sigh* Why didn't he end things with me before faire season? It's not fair that I'm thinking of skipping faire because of this. I was really looking forward to this, now I'm dreading it.

I don't hate him, maybe that's what makes this so hard. I miss him, we talked just about every freaking day - we could talk for hours at a time. He's funny and intersting. I think I pissed him off last week thought, not my intent, but it happens. I really do wish him well, everyone deserves to be happy and if that makes him happy, that's great. I really am working toward a Zen attitude about all this. It will happen, I know... just wish it had already happened.

Anyway, thanks for listening internet, I know I'll be back with more whineing and moaning because I have a feeling my heart is going to hurt about this for a bit longer. *sigh* I'll be fine though, I always am. Need more tissues that's all.

Dangerous Night

Before I start this tale, let me be clear that I bear no ill will towards K and he bears none towards me. All of the animosity that might provoke either one of us (me mostly) to spill the other's blood was brief and has passed many years ago. Now on to the tale.

K is a very fuzzy guy. His hair is super thick and his beard grows in thick and wooly like a sheeps coat. For nearly as long as we have been married (11 years in June), I've trimmed his beard and cut his hair - without incident. Tonight was like no other night.

K was looking more like Ted Kaczynski than like himself so I figured it was time to bring out the sheers and get the dirty work out of the way. K got the clippers out and started getting them ready when disaster struck! Well okay, that's a bit of an exageration, a minor accident happened as he was cleaning the blades and checking the clippers, and he cut his thumb, right under the nail - OUCH! (see first picture). When K signaled that his bleeding was finished and the clippers were ready to lose his winter coat, I get started. Part way through the bush that is his beard I decide I need to change guides on the clippers to get a closer cut. I turn off the clippers and pull off the first guide, as I'm putting the second guide on the damn clippers jump from my hand and attack me! Cutting three of my fingers! (the pinky finger hurt the worst!)(see second picture)

That should have been a warning to STOP! But I rarely heed warnings like that. We forage ahead. Things were going well, we were discussing current events in our lives when suddenly the guide flew off the clippers and hit the floor. The problem with that is that I didn't realize the guide had flown off the clippers until it hit the floor, meaning I had already put the clippers back to K's head, there by giving him a VERY close shave in one spot. Okay, okay, I gave him a bald spot - square, bald square. Yeah I did. It wasn't my fault though! The damn clippers are possessed or something! They were out to get us! Anyway... When I heard the guide hit the floor I realized the error in my ways and GASPED as I looked at the bald square now in K's hair. K started laughing - he had JUST been joking about his imaginary bald spot now being visible with shorter hair... well now it wasn't imaginary or a joke. He kept laughing. I started laughing, realizing that he wasn't going to grab a knife from the knife drawer (which unfortunately was closer to him than me) and turn it into a bad episode of CSI. I literally doubled over laughing, partly from shock and partly from relief that he wouldn't kill me (I'd even call it justifiable homicide for this too) - I of course turned off the clippers first, wouldn't want to cut any of my lovely locks! It takes a good 5 minutes for us to stop laughing.

Luckily it's not really a huge deal, K prefers his hair pretty damn short especially in the back (it looks best like that also) and the bald square is toward the back. I just put the really short guide on the clippers and finished up, with many snickers and giggles and occasional waves of guilt. His hair looks fine now, really it does. Yes you can still see the bald square, but it's not so bad. In a week it will have grown in enough so I can do a quick trim and no one will be the wiser... except for everyone who actually sees the bald square and those who read about it on here.

I refrained from taking a photo of the incriminating area affected. I figured that was just best, I really didn't need to photo document my fuck up.

Anyway, before all was said and done, I had to clean the clippers. As I had already been injured by the clippers I decided to let K put the guide back on - and tragedy struck again! He was cut yet again by the Clippers of Pain! (picture three)Damn these things!

Everything is fine now, the blood is cleaned up, the wounds bandaged and K looks fine. I however will snicker about this for weeks, then feel horribly guilty for mameing K in such a way. Then snicker again.
Stop The Insanity!!*

Mercifly Beauty And The Beast has just ended. I can not watch that goddammed movie any more. I mean it. The moment it comes on, I have to turn away and do something else. It's not that I hate the movie, it's just been on far too many times in this household. It's torture ever damn time it's playing. I don't have to be looking at the screen to know what the characters are doing. I can see the movie running through my tortured mind even when I close my eyes. It's Disney Hell. I must hide that movie for a few months (or years).

*ps... what ever happened to the dyke looking chick who started that phrase?
Starbucks Please!

I worked out today, truly an amazing feat. I was working out consistently until mid January when I got sick... a bad case of LazyAssItis. Anyway, I worked out again today... and I'm tired now. Fuck that was hard. Now I want a big Frappichino with Extra whipped cream! *sigh* but no such luck for me.

Pondering...

Is it blasphemous for me to want some chocolate Easter candy? and if so to what religion? It's not like bunnies and eggs are Christian symbols. Wonder about the special Easter Kit Kat bars... mmmmmm nondenominational Easter candy? They were good... especially the dark chocolate ones. Damn they were awsome. So good I'd probably cut someone if they stood between me and my dark chocolate Kit Kat. 'Gimme the fucking candy and nobody get's hurt!'

I swear an awful lot. Is it any wonder that one of my oldest's first words was 'shit'?

PMS fucking sucks! I need some Starbucks, some chocolate and some dick RIGHT NOW dammit! Okay, I'll settle for Starbucks, chocolate and batteries.
MOVIE REVIEW
The Upside Of Anger

I keep fighting the urge to write a long, angry, sad, self pitying post. It may be cathartic to do so, but I don't think it would be a wise thing to do. I know it would come off mean and I am not a mean person, I really don't wish to cause others pain, despite the amount I am feeling at the moment. I may write the post, not likely I would post it though, as I said I have no wish to cause others pain. I know many people read this crap I type, so I try to live my life as though I'm always in the public eye, I try to keep the private, private and have no secrets. More people should live like that - no secrets, no lies, recognize that private is one thing and a secret is another - (private is closing the door when you shower, secret is a girlfiend you never let anyone know about so you can have another girlfriend in public) live your life in the open and you have very few instances when you hurt someone, have to explain yourself or have to appologize. Hmmm... but I'm off track again aren't I? I did say I wouldn't write a long, angry, sad, self pitying post so I'll stop this right here and talk about the movie.

The Upside Of Anger stars Kevin Costner and Joan Allen. Joan Allen carries this movie and is absolutely beautiful doing it - it's hard to fathom that she is 49, she looks amazing. Allen plays a woman who's husband of many years leaves her suddenly presumably to live with his assistant in Sweden. Now had I have know this I might have opted to see the Vin Diesel movie The Pacifier instead. This was probably not the best choice for a woman (me) who's still dealing with being jilted by the man she loves. I cried with her as she tried to understand why she had been left and what she could have done wrong. One scene when she couldn't get out of bed and talked about how she always wanted to kick the wimpy women who whined about being left and then there she was like that, was quite poignant to me - I believe I've felt the exact same. Though the movie is about Terry (Allen's character) dealing with her abandonment, betrayal and lonliness, it's not an hour and a half of her whineing and crying. Her neighbor Denny (played by Costner) befriends her as his drinking buddy and slowly becomes part of her family. The relationships between Terry and her daughters really becomes the central focus of the movie and not her growing relationship with Denny. Which is a good thing because I think it would have been trite to have her fall into a fabulous romance right after being abandoned and would have made her character 2 dimentional. Unfortunately the daughters are the weakest characters in the movie. Keri Russell plays one daughter and despite Russell being a wonderful actress, she wasn't convincing in this movie - I wasn't even convinced she WAS in the movie. The youngest daughter is the only one who does a sterling job and that really is sad. The mother/daughter tension was painful for me to watch, it was very realistic and reminded me of my own mother. It made me wonder if this would be my life in 10 years, two angry teenaged daugters and one bitter angry mother pushing them to succeed because I never had.

The movie is full of tension. Terry is an anguished, angry woman who bristles and snaps at anyone who crosses her in the begining. Denny an ageing lonely baseball hero slowly killing himself with alchohol. They make an unlikely friendship and an even more unlikely coupleling (mercifly there is only one scene of Costner shirtless after their frist romp) who managed to enrich each other's lives. The ending of the movie is pure Hollywood cop-out. It completly nulified the begining of the movie and left me thinking 'No fucking way.'

Though this movie comes off as a comedy in the trailer, I don't think it can be characterized as one, it's more of a drama with some damn funny moments. One of my favorites is at Terry's oldest daughters wedding reception when she confronts her 2nd daughters smarmy, twice her age boyfriend and ends up slapping the hell out of him - not once but twice! It was fabulous and I laughed hardest at that - maybe I enjoyed that one just a wee bit to much, but it was damn funny and he sooooo deserved it. There were many laughs and many tears. This movie isn't really for everyone, infact when we got up to leave I looked around and saw that about half of the people in the theater had left during the movie - I didn't think it was bad enough to leave after paying to get in, but I suppose if you were looking for typical Hollywood fare with easy plots and happy endings, then you wouldn't like this. I wasn't sure I liked the movie last night and after sleeping, I think I did like it - it had sort of complex plot and decent writing - except the ending. ;o) I don't recommend if you've had your heart stomped recently to see the movie, but I do if you have been the one to stomp on a heart recently. ;o)
Random Monday Morning Thoughts

I really, really hate daylight savings. Because of daylight savings I didn't go game with my friends this weekend, leaving me all patheticly alone - which normally is not an issue, I enjoy the blessed peace and quiet, but this weekend it left me with much to much time to think. I reset my alarm Saturday night then reset it early Sunday morning because getting up at 5:30 am which is now 6:30 am was way to early, so I opted for 7:30 am and then rushed on to work. I forgot about my resetting my alarm last night when I headed to bed with a nasty headache. Had whacked out dreams, at one point one that was oddly religious - and not in a way that would appeal to my religious leanings (this I recall as I thought "How oddly religious and Christian" in my dream), then I was all asleep and snuggly thinking 'mmmm bed... warm... snuggly... stop weird dreams..mmmm bed." and I woke and looked at the clock, realized it was 7 am and I was running LATE! So the rest of the morning was spent prodding the Little People to move FAST! This of course brought about the appearance of The Badger who only recently stopped being just plain mean. *sigh* Waking up EARLY = EVILNESS.

So anyway... I have no Splenda for my coffee... I blame Daylight savings. I'm also out of creamer... Daylight savings fault. My head hurts... because of Daylight savings. My weekend sucked (except for movie time) - Daylight savings... No money in my account... sucked out by Daylight savings. I have a million things to do before this weekend... Daylight savings fault. Might have to skip opening weekend of Scarby - blame that pesky Daylight savings. My bra and panties don't match because of Daylight savings.

See.. it's a bad idea. Someone needs to cut out this crazy shit of changing the time around. It's going to lead to the fall of civilization as we know it!

My New Boyfriend

Isn't he adorable?? And he's soooo happy with me! Damn he was just all over me. I told A that he was my new boyfriend and her response was "Too bad he doesn't have a bigger dick." hehehe... Sick woman!
Hunting Wabbits

Dear K;

I wanted to tell you to not go looking for your chocolate bunny. You will not find it. Something horrible happened to it. Seems there was a Rabbit Hunt last night and your chocolate bunny was caught (eaten). I am sorry. I tried to do everything I could to save your bunny (I closed the cabinet, but it's so easy to open), but the forces (of temptation, being broken hearted and PMS) of EVIL (that would be me) were to great and your bunny was done in (eaten).

My deepest sympathies and regrets;

Judy,

Is It Too Early..

To start drinking yet? Really... I need a drink. Something strong. *sigh*
Cat Humiliation

Because it's been far to long since I posted a picture of my patient cat with one of the Tiny Terrorist.

Cats hate to dance. I think it's just because they don't do it well.
That's Not Funny!!!

I KNOW it's April Fool's day, but an icky spider in the tub when I go to take a shower is NOT funny!
Blogger Bitch

Blogger is being a bitch, I can't edit the last post I did. It won't fucking publish with the corrections. Is this some kind of stupid April Fool's joke??? Hell is my life just some kind of fucked up April Fool's joke?? Enough already, get to the damn punch line and it better be funny.
Bad Music

It sucks when your life starts to resemble a bad country western song and you don't even own a dog, a gun, a truck or hang at the bar drinking tequila and picking fights (everyone knows I prefer white russians and dancing, but most also know to stop me fairly early on with the white russians to prevent more puking incidents - for that I thank my dear friends).

Gotta go, must keep looking for that silver lining people keep mentioning.
Spring Day

Wow, what a surprise this morning was with all the wind and coldness. It's kind of cloudy, suggesting that it MAY rain, but hell I'd like that so I wouldn't have to water my plants (ahhh the awful truth of why my garden always fails becomes clear) so I'm doubting it will actually RAIN. It's almost depressing, it suggests a BEAUTIFUL spring day when peeking out the window, but upon stepping out one is asailed by the strong winds and it's just a bit to cold, the clouds overhead tease and it's hard to enjoy the bright yellow dandilions dotting the lawn or the eruption of green that lightly covers the trees and bushes along the creek.

*fuck* I totally fucking spaced out and lost my train of thought.

On to other things... I love this cat.

Ah well, it's windy and cold outside - at least I got to wear my fleece pullover one more time this year (which actually means something since I found it just last month in my closet - so now I've worn it a total of 2 times this season! Woohoo!), my coffe is hot and ... well.. I guess that's it. Back to sewing.

LATER: Oh.. look a theme... It's making me want to get a Ouija Board. I wonder if someone is trying to tell me something?

LATER THAN THAT: Damn! It is a message! Just LOOK! I think I need to stay away from people with Ouija Boards. That's the message I'm getting. Dead people are pissy sometimes.

No More Salt Please

Damn it, every time I think I'm done hurting over my break up with Michael, something happens to pour more salt in my wounds and I end up in tears again. I've been crying on and off since about 4:30 pm or 5 pm. It's nothing in particular, just a phone call and old hurts back at the surface. And what sucks, I don't really feel like going into it, way to painful... yet I do. I must be crazy. So I'll be ever so vague and not explain myself, don't bother asking for clarification, I won't do it.

Here goes:
Just because no one sees my tears doesn't mean they don't fall. Just because you can't feel my pain doesn't mean it not real. Even though I may appear strong doesn't mean I'm not weak. I just cover well.

My feelings are valid, don't discount them.

No more head games, please, please, please. Not from you and not from her, not from anyone please. I do not like them Sam I Am!

I can't blame, it's not me, yet I wish I could and I wonder if it would make things eaiser.

That's it for now. It exhausts me. I don't want to think of this anymore but my brain won't stop. Damn it!

Other Things

I changed the blog template. Isn't it lovely? Michael kindly put it together for me. I appreciate it, I promise not to start my 'Gas Money For Bonfire' fund just yet.

Despite my serious HTML ignorance I did manage to fix a fairly irritating javascript error I was getting earlier. Yay for Judy!! Huzzah!

Anyway, that's all for tonight. Friends, don't worry about me, there is nothing you can do (except get me drunk), I must travel this road alone and alone I am. Tomorrow is a new day.
Petey's Shirt

I'm nearly done with Petey's shirt. It looks lovely. I know the photo is a tad bit dark but I know you can see how it looks. I just need to put on the cuffs and do the hem. I could have it all done within an hour but I'm tired and I just finished doing the yoke and I feel as though I'm going to go crosseyed now - I really need better lighting.

Anyway, I think I shall take advantage of the quite while Cabbage Patch naps and get a short one myself.
Stupid Criminal

I like that they actually use the phrase 'turd burglar' in the article.
Happy Hippy Hippo

Because someone loves me, I now have a Hippy Hippo. Thanks Jodie. And she had no idea how much I absolutly love the dancing hippo from Fantasia! I am that Dancing Hippo!

My Knees Still Hurt

From the Blow Job at the bar. It's well worth it though when the other girls started laughing and had to use their hands too because I couldn't get the damn glass in my mouth and said "I've got to use my hands. They have bigger mouths than me!"

Best Thing Said To Me Last Night

Here is part of conversation I had with Bethany:

Me: yeah, I went to school in Garland.
Her: My mom taught in Garland.
Me: Oh really? What school?
Her: At some middle school. Well that was before we left though.
Me: When was that?
Her: That was ... um.. 20 years ago! You would have been too young.
Me: Um... no... I was in middle school then.
Her: *blink* *blink* I thought you were my age.
Me: Awwww thanks!!!! I'm 33.
Her: Really you only look like you are in your twenties.

I'm writing her into my will!

Can We Talk?

I'd like to take this opportunity to point out that my lovely blog that you are now reading has this fun feature called 'Comments' as well as another fun feature called a 'Tag Board'. Both of these great features are a convenient way for YOU the reader to communicate with me and make witty comments. All are welcome and encouraged to use these features frequently!

Alright, go ahead and say something already!
Mystery

I almost forgot to write about this. Last night K gave me $40 to go toward my ticket today. Right before Petey got here I balanced my check book and stuck the two twenties with my lonely $1 in my check book. When I went to pay for my ticket I pulled out the cash and found THREE twenties. I just handed them over and wrote a $40 check for the rest. I called K when I got home just to be certain that he only gave me $40 and he confirmed that. I'm not sure where the extra $20 came from, but I'm thankful.
Necessary Treatment

So Petey is being a doll today and ran me around for all my errands and now has one half of the Tiny Terrorists for the rest of the day. Woohoo!

For some reason the cosmic balance is aligned just right today and things are going much smoother than I had anticipated. It took 15 minutes in the orthodontis office and maybe 5 in the court house. I'm home and it's not even noon.

The most ironic and funny part of the trip was in the parking lot of the court house. I got out of the car and saw something on the ground. A silver package. I closed the car door and curiosity got the best of me, I had to see what it was so I bent down and flipped the package over - it was two Preparation H Suppositories! I'm guessing someone wanted to be prepared for their dealings with the Plano police department. ;o)

First Sprouts!

>

I'm thrilled, my garden is sprouting!! Let's hope it actually keeps growing this year!!
So Cute You'll Want To Hurl!

The Little People drew bunnies tonight. Cabbage Patch's is on the left, she was so cute she said 'I drawed a bunny!' and I'll be damned if it doesn't actually resemble a bunny (more like a cat really but she INSISTED it was a bunny when I said cat). Usually her drawings are more linear as in a bunch of scribble lines. I'm impressed. Not to be outdone, Super Girl quickly drew her bunnies. The conversation went like this: her: Look at my bunnies!, me: very nice honey *opening the paper to see what was inside* What's that., her:*laughing* oh that's a guy shooting the bunnies!! (and it did look like a guy with a gun) Cute, eh? hmmm not so much.
Changes On The Way

The new template is in the works, someone is helping me with this... helping.. who am I lieing to??? Someone is generously doing the work to make a bad-ass template for me. I've seen part of it and let me tell you it's pretty damn exciting... So much so that I may need to change my undies here in a moment.

Getting Over The Hump

That's going to be my objective tomorrow. It's going to be so fucking busy. Way too much driving and places to go and it just makes me tired to think of it, so I'm not going to even type it. *sigh* Somedays I wish there were two of me... Then I could make the other me do all the work while I sleep in!

Talk Therapy

So I talked to my best friend today, a couple of times at that. It's nice to be able to bitch and moan to someone who won't judge you or talk smack about you behind your back - that and we laugh so damn much. Call again A!

Just The Right Thing To Say

Yesterday a man from my past contacted me, the School Teacher. I haven't heard from him in a very long time. It was quite a surprise. He wants to see me, not sure it will happen, but it is nice to be wanted. Today another past man said the nicest thing, I will quote him 'You are a godess'. Not sure I agree with him, but damn that WAS the perfect thing to say. Spring is in the air and apparently I'm giving off pheremones again. ;o)

Why Does Anyone Even Like ME?

I wonder that sometimes. I have a habit of being honest. Not just honest but BRUTALLY HONEST. I'm a very bad liar and will tell people what I'm thinking if they ask. Not everyone appreciates my honesty and many have been offended by it (ask about how I managed to piss off K's oldest brother and his entire family). Recently I told a friend that he needed counseling, not once but many times. That was like a week ago and just NOW I realize that comment might have been just down right offensive. I'm such a bitch sometimes. By a show of hands, how many of you think I'm a bitch?

Well I've got an awful headache, I should go for now.
Life Lesson For Today

One should not keep boiled eggs in the same carton as the uncooked eggs, lest you end up with an omlet when you only intended a boiled egg for breakfast.

No I don't usually store my boiled eggs with my uncooked ones, the Tiny Terroist decided that they should all reside in the same carton.
Spring Break Is Over! Woohoo!

With much joy and rapture, I sent Super Girl off to school. Spring Break lasted a week and a day, a week too long if you ask me. Luckily today was my day, just as my sanity was at its breaking point and my liquor supply at its end.

So now I sit here sipping the last of my coffee enjoying the much quieter level of noise in my house, knowing that at least until 3:45 pm I won’t have to ask ‘What are you girls doing??’ after hearing a loud crash from upstairs, feeling confident that the mess I clean up this morning will stay cleaned up (for the most part) and knowing that I won’t hear ‘MOOOOOOMMMMMM!!!! She hit me/touched me/pushed me/took my doll!!!!’ 500 times in the next 10 minutes. I honestly don’t know how some people homeschool their children, I admire them, but don’t understand them. 24/7 with your kid gets to be nerve wracking. At least for me that is.

Virus GONE! Trail Mix Still Here.

Of course now that Super Girl is back in school, that means the clean up will now start. I’ve managed to vanquish the virus from my computer (at least I believe I have) – a little thank you to everyone who helped in that grueling process. The trail mix seems to still have a hold on my domicile. I continue to find nuts and raisins. My living room floor is still littered with plastic Easter eggs as well. Trail mix and aforementioned eggs will soon vacate my living area and reside in the garbage – and luckily since Super Girl is at school, she won’t be able to rescue the damn plastic eggs. I’ll be parking Cabbage Patch in front of some animated movie (or CSI) so I can achieve a clean house.

Bad Mother Or Not?

Is letting my offspring watch CSI a bad thing? My kids LOVE CSI. Last night they chose CSI over cartoons. I reason that it is at least somewhat educational as they show a lot of forensic science. K sometimes gives me the raised eyebrow look when I say that. I know I’m right though. ;o)

Other Things

I’m getting ready to start on some projects that I need to get finished before Scarby. Luckily since Spring Break is now over, I can get things done with minimal interruption.

On other fronts, well I’m still very emotional about the whole relationship thing, but I think I’m moving to a point of just being sad and heart broke. I haven’t cried about it in a while. Still hurts to see pictures of Michael and Loa. Still got that feeling that I lost at something and I really hate that and wish I could just shake it, but it is true, I did lose. Don’t even tell me it wasn’t a competition, because it was, I mean hell, most things in life are, why wouldn’t this be. I know I need to change my outlook on this and I am trying. It will happen, it is happening, just not fast enough for me. But I guess that it takes time, we were seeing each other for just over a year.

I may have a bunch more garb orders – paid orders! Woohoo! Still discussing exactly what is wanted, but it doesn’t sound impossible (actually pretty easy). Just waiting to finalize this.

Must go for now, got to change the bag in the vacuum and get all this trail mix up!

Computer Virus And Trail Mix
Curently The Bane Of My Existance!!

Got a fucking virus on my computer, more accurately a damned trojan horse. Trying to fix these issues. Going crazy in the process.

The Little People's grandparents sent them Easter Baskets which I distributed to them last night. Knowing my distain for my offspring having copious amounts of sugar, the baskets were filled with boxes of raisins and trail mix filled plastic eggs (each basket did have one nice sized chocolate bunny - so no one was deprived or suffered). By some huge error in thinking, I handed the Tiny Terrorists their baskets while they were sitting on the sofa. As I was somewhat distracted by efforts to clean things off my computer I didn't fully think through the implications of them sitting on the sofa going through their Easter Baskets. I was soon to discover that they were compled to open each and every plastic egg and dump them into their baskets which happend to be about half full of plastic grass (which I'm sure the cats will be eating and vomiting back up on my floor for the next week or so), as there was still things in the basket they felt it necessary to grab the hunk of plastic grass several times and remove it from their baskets, thus depositing trail mix on my sofa. At the point that I discovered this error in my judgement I started yelling for them to get a (insert explative) bowl and clean up the (insert two explatives) trail mix off the (insert explative) sofa. Eventually it was done but not before a copious amount was deposited (forever) between the sofa cushions.

This morning though the EVIL fake plastic grass has been deposited in the garbage and much of the trail mix is now in a bowl, my living room floor is litterd with raisins, nuts and fake grass. No I have not vaccuumed yet today, I'm seriously wondering if it's worth it or if I should go ask the Mansicle across from me if I can borrow his dogs for a bit and just let them eat all the crap on the floor. I have in fact started some laundry, bathed both children and we are all dressed and ready to go. Today is my day to make my monthly pilgramage to the City of Plano to give them some of my hard earned money in exchange for me staying out of jail. Seems like a generous offer from them, I must say. Next month should be my last offering of this sort. I'm also headed off to the clinic to pick up a new pack of pills, not that I really need them since it would be highly unlikely that I'd end up pregnant from BOB, talk about an immaculate conception. I mean if that sort of thing was gonna happen (which I don't even believe it happened the first time) I'm sure HE wouldn't be choosing this Jew for that task.

Anyway, I digress... I need to get back to cleaning up my Virtual STD on my computer - damn all the internet porn!!!!

A Little Somethin', Somethin' For The Christian Holiday

Just because I'm not Christian doesn't mean I can't appreciate the holiday. What could me more central to the Easter holiday than Peeps! Read this article on how Peeps came to be.

Tomorrow I'll work as usual, and because it's Easter I will get holiday pay - and it's not even my holiday! Woohoo! See, I can totally appreciate this holiday - chocolates AND holiday pay!

Your Seduction Style: Siren / Rake

You possess an unbridled sensuality that appeals to many.
The minute you meet anyone, you can make them crave you almost immediately.
You give others the chance to lose control with you... spiraling into carnal bliss.
A dangerous lover, you both fascinate and scare those you attract.

Is that accurate? I'm not sure I agree. Someone once told me I give off a strong sexual aura, but I think he was just trying to get into my knickers again. Feedback please?

Cat Fu

How is it that a tiny little 6 lb cat can stand on me and cause me absolute agony? Somehow a 35 lb toddler crawling on me doesn't hurt as much as the cat stepping on me. At one point K and I speculated that the cats were trained in the ancient art of Cat Fu and were experts with kitty pressure points.

I have this image of my cat entering a Tibetan monistary to study with an old kitty sensi. After many months of meditation and rigorous training in the pristine temple, she is sent off as a master and told to use her new skils for good.

Anyway, just figured I'd share that crazy thought with everyone. :)

Not Only Do I Suck, I Lick Too!

Tonight it was a Drumstick Ice Cream Cone... Chocolate. If you have never had the chocolate... oh dear gawd, you must get it. I've always been kind of wishy-washy about them. I liked the chocolate coating and the chocolate coating the inside of the ice cream cone but I was never THRILLED about the vanilla ice cream. Well now they fixed that little issue - the chocolate ice cream is perfect. I'm not saying it's the best fucking ice cream I've had in my life but it's damn good considering I spent $1.50 for the 4 pack at Albies. Quite nice, not better than sex, but who knows, give me a few weeks when my batteries are running out and I may think it is.
Good Day Sunshine

What a BEAUTIFUL day! The sun is out and the birds are singing - I'm having a great day and I got a nice compliment from someone today (yes, yes, I'm swayed by flattery, so sue me). Yeah baby, a long lunch would would be perfect, let me know when you're lunch schedule will bring you in my area (which is probably never but what the hell, it WOULD be nice!) and I'll fix you a samich. ;o)

Time to enjoy this lovely day!
Don't Go Changing...

Well I decided to change the template back as it was causing eye strain, headaches and brain damage to thoes viewing it. I'm still planning on changing it though, must find an appropriate template to you, find or take some appropriate photos of myself... porn? nah... don't need to scare people.

Having a good day. Staying out way to long taking with friends and kissing hot women's hot boyfriends always do that... or maybe it's the lack of sleep that's making me delirous. Or possibly all the red dye #5 in the Flamin' Cheetos that's causing me to halucinate. Not sure, think I shall take a nap. Spring Break Rocks! (actually that's what my 6 year old said yesterday, she has no clue)
