Awwww.... that is so darn cute!

My nephew has fallen asleep on the sofa watching Lotus Wars. One of the cats is cuddled up next to him, it's cute.

I think he might smack me for taking his pic, but he looks like a little boy. :o)
When Stars Go On Trial...

Second Robert Blake Lawyer Leaves L.A. Murder Case

So yet another lawyer flees the Blake case. And why? Because he can't keep his mouth shut. One would think that he would take the counsel of his lawyers and shut the hell up. Can you imagine how the OJ Simpson verdict might have been if OJ had of run his mouth like Blake keeps doing. Maybe Robert Blake should phone OJ to get the phone numbers for F. Lee Bailey and Johnny Cochran. ;o)

Ebay Rocks!

Last night I put some stuff up on Ebay - 7 day auctions - just a bunch of baby stuff. And my auctions are up to $60 already. The coolest part is that the baby stuff didn't cost me a penny. :o)
Fridays are busy....

So this is how my day went... I took hubby to work, raced off to work... fretting over the fact that I had to work another hospital closer to home also, but that I was headed off to this one and hoped that it would be a short short day so I could get to the other hospital sooner.... So I get there, the other photographer is there, she tells me that Charlotte, our boss wants me to call because she needs a photographer at one of the REALLY busy hospitals and it's not so busy today at this hospital. *sigh* And I was hoping to leave early.... so I call... Charlotte tells me that the situaion at the big hospital has been taken care of, stay at that hospital if needed then handle the smaller hospital then she told me that Monday she has no one to work the big hospital, so I volunteer. The other photographer says she has everything undercontrol, I leave, get to the small hospital, take 2 pics, make 2 sales YAY! Then head off to do grocery shopping, head home to do some cleaning then head over to D's house to pick up the kids that will be visiting with me this weekend. My nephew is here for the weekend. He's a sweet kid. 17 and we have been having a great time.

Keeping The Memory Alive...

WARNING... Some of the following statements may be offensive to some people... if you offend eaisly... don't read this... if you read this and are offended.... don't listen to the voices in your head and leave nasty messages on my comments. These are MY opinions and I won't appologize for any of them.

So I'm watching this true crime program tonight (I love true crime stories) and at the end of the program the victims brother said the statement that most victim relatives say, that they are "working to keep the memory of ________ alive." Allright.... um... yeah. My mother died 6 years ago, I really don't have to 'work' to keep her memory alive, as long as I am alive and have all my mental facilities, I'll remember her. I'm not going to do anything special other than have pictures of her around (which I already do) and talk about her with my sister from time to time. And most of all I'm not going to push my children to 'feel' something special for a woman who died before they were ever born. I guess some people are afraid that their loved ones will be forgoten once they have passed away. And yes that will happen for some people, but that happens for all people... people who make an impact on your life or you care about, you will remember, thoes who didn't will be forgoten... it's just life. Anyway... just me being irritated by that...
Microsoft Internet Destroyer SUCKS!!

I've been having trouble with Microsoft Internet... I had the version 6. Yesterday I went to the site and saw there was version 6 sp1 (service pack 1) so I downloaded the service pack, thinking that it might fix the problems I was having.... what a mistake. Now I had more problems... and I couldn't access any links from e-mail. Sheesh... D suggested I try another browser... Well I like Netscape... a lot better than Explorer... but it doesn't work with a couple of sites I go to regularly... so I try Opera, I like it fine, except... some sites come up weird... especially the edit page for Blogger... don't like that at all... *sigh* What to do? What to do? I did what I had to... I uninstalled Explorer 6 sp1. I'm using 5.5 and it is working ok. None of the bizarre quirks that 6 sp1 had.
Wed....

Yesterday was busy... eh... nuf said.

Today I fixed my camera! YAY! Look! Me!

I know, I know, you really don't want to see another lame ass picture of me, but I think this lame ass picture is pretty damn good. :o)

Anyway... the camera needed.... batteries.... that's all. It had gotten wet, so I thought it might be broken, and I got new batteries (crappy ones) and it didn't work, so I got some rechargable ones with a recharger (no point in having rechargables without that) and it works!!!! Woohoo!

I feel like a little elf lately, I've been painting little wooden toys! So I keep getting these images of the elves from that weird claymation Christmas special. But I'm having a lot of fun doing this, I will have to post pictures when I'm done, currently I'm painting a little wooden vintage car, but it looks kind of crappy and sloppy so I'll post pics when it's something worth seeing.

Today I got news from a friend that she is expecting her 3rd child. I'm excited for her! She's a great mom. This baby was quite unexpected, but is a blessing none the less. Maybe she'll name it Judy if it's a girl! ;o)

L- hehehehe.... the Antonio Banderas doll reference was a joke... a South Park reference. (my guilty pleasure). soooooooo, your admirer has left you another message on Craig's list... are you going to answer him back? You've bewitched him! ;o)

Judy's Monday Mission 3.2 Thanks to PromoGuy for the questions...

1. Have you ever bought something you were so excited about and found out later that it didn't work? Were you able to return it? How did it go?
Yes my blow up Antonio Banderas doll... I was extremely disapointed that it didn't work... I did return it, they gave me some shit about it having been used, yadda, yadda, yadda... ;o)

2. Do you have a PDA (personal digital assistant)? What kind, and how did you decide? What do you like about it? If you don't own one, do you want one or do you do better without such gadgets?
Don't own one... don't want one... not a question of being better or worse with gadgets, just don't need one.

3. What illness do you wind up catching more than any other?
cold.

4. Do you like going to see the Doctor (any type)?
Don't really mind, don't see them often, don't get all that sick.

5. How about the Dentist? Do you like going? Do you go in every 6 months for a check-up?
I love seeing the dentist. I go every 6 months, I love getting my teeth cleaned.

6. Are you a "Dog Person" or a "Cat Person?" Do you think a person's choice tells you something about their personality?
Hmmm... I like both, but I'm a better cat owner than a dog owner, although I've only had 2 dogs in my life, but I don't think I was the best dog owner this last time... that whole taking her to pound at the end still makes me feel like a shit. I don't think peoples choice really tells anything about their personality at all. What is telling is if someone likes pets or not. Most of the people I know who don't like pets of any kind tend to be major tight asses or hypocondriacs.

7. Have you ever had a friendship that just seems to have run its course? Where there is just nothing there anymore? What finally happened?
Eh, we just stopped talking. Nothing bad happened, just didn't talk much anymore.

BONUS: Do you want to see me beggin' baby? Can't you give me just one more day?
On your knees! Beg! NOW!

Today's Comment Question: Wanna get together after work and run around? Any ideas on what to do?
Yeah, sounds cool. Let's get a couple of drinks and head off to play minature golf... my rules.

MONDAY! MONDAY! MONDAY!

All our snow is gone... which is not a surprise since this is TEXAS after all. I'm happy, I only like snow for a brief visit, not to stick around.

My boss called me this morning, she wanted to know how the weekend at the new hospital went. I told it was great. I'll be working that hospital Friday, Saturday and Sunday from now on, and she offered me to pick up some days at a VERY VERY busy hospital as well. COOL! Oh and she brought up switching me over to commision. So this could be really really nice for me.

This day has REALLY flown by! I can't believe how fast noon got here.

SNOW!

Today... it snowed! Here in Texas! Most of the damn day!

This is the remaining snow on some bushes outside my townhouse. I know, I know... it's not a lot for some of you who live up in the great white North, but for us here in Texas... it's something.

The worst part of it, was that I had to drive in that damn stuff... I really really don't like driving in weather like this... makes me so nervous... I'm always afraid of ice since when I wrecked my car on the ice a little over a year ago. Anyway, it will all be gone tomorrow, supposed to be in the 50's here. I'm actually surprised any of it stuck on anything since it didn't get all that cold today.
Sad, Sad, News...

This morning I learned that Maurice Gibb died. That breaks my heart. I really liked the Bee Gees. I loved all that funky disco music.
Dreams...

Well I think I may have discovered the reason I have been having weird dreams... I have been very bad about taking my anti-anxiety medicine. I realized yesterday that I had been taking it sporadically. I forgot to take it yesterday morning (for the second day in a row) and part way through the day I started getting very stressed and was having trouble keeping focused... which is bad while trying to work... Anyway... on the way home I was thinking about how I had done something that day that I had not done in a long long time (stress related compulsive behavior) and then it dawned on me that I had missed my pill! Anyway I took it as soon as I got home, and took it this morning. And today was MUCH MUCH better. :o)
L - I read about your bus stop admirer yesterday, and was going to comment about how bizarre it was, but didn't get a chance to.... now it seems to have taken an even more bizarre step! hehehehe... I have to laugh. He left a message for you on Craigs list! That is a trip! I guess he was REALLY attracted to you. You hot mama you! ;o)

OH... speaking of Craigs list... my hubby just told me that it's under investigation because apparently people are using it to make drug connections. hehehehehe.... go figure..
