Got Bit By A What???


Our conversation:

Her: What that?
Me: A bug bite.
Her: Bug bite?
Me: Yup.
Her: What bite you?
Me: A bug.
Her: A Spider?!?! *said all wide eyed and surprised*
Me: Um.. no, I don't think so.
Her: An alligator?
Me: Yeah, an alligator bit me.
Her: *pondering for a moment* That would hurt me to get bite by an alligator.
Me: Yeah. Maybe it was a shark.
Her: Nooooo. It was an alligator. *said with utter disdain and my unbelievable suggestion of shark bite when it's obvious the two tiny spots on my body are alligator marks*
Me: Okay, whatever you say. It was an alligator.
Her: Yeah.
